I want to give a shout out to the manager of the Red Lobster on HWY 5. Our son is in from Camp Pendleton on his pre-deployment leave and on a lunch with his new girlfriend, our waitress had twice showed an attitude, and yes they were really busy and I did take that into consideration. But there is a limit that even I will take. l will leave a very generous when there is a level of effort and respect served. This young lady just showed an obvious disregard of us sitting there for over 8 min without even taking our drink orders. I called over another young lady and bless her heart she was new. She tried and ended up getting the manager. He stepped up right to the plate and served us his self and even gave my son as many of those Awesome biscuits, and covered our lunch. Which, I did not expect or ask for. There was no hesitation or question of what happened, or how busy they were, he just stepped right up and did what he thought was the right thing to do. That, in my eyes was Quality and Assurance at its best and hard at work. I want to say that because of his hard work and efforts to salvage a difficult situation we had a very pleasurable lunch, and enjoyed getting to know my sons new girlfriend. I would recommend to anyone to go to that location. When we are in that area again, we will be back. I will even give the young lady a second chance. She did apologize by the way. I have always been a fan of the food. The last few times I have been here (2016) the service has been sub par and the food just ok. I went Sunday night (December 11,2016) at around 6pm. They were not what I would qualify as busy. I was with a party of 10 and one child. I was the 2nd to order (waitress was pretty good) but last to receive my soup/salad and did not receive my dinner until I asked where it was. The shrimp was undercooked and the stuffed flounder. Those people received their recooked food before I got mine for the first time. Once I did receive it, it was AMAZING!!!!! It got the Salmon, Shrimp, & lobster with brussel sprouts! AMAZING! I wish I had a picture. But I should have received it with my table. Service killed the experience.

Saturday night wait expected after 8pm. Waited about 30 mins to get seated. Our waitress was pretty casual and didnt care about nothing but getting the order in and getting us out. No menu recommendations and forgot water 2x. Food came out after 35mins and was literally cool. We asked for more biscuits while waiting for food and that waitress looked at us like we committed a crime. My so called stuffed flounder was small than my hand. Never again will go here but had to use our gift card. Skip it!!

The service is AMAZING! I have gone to this location for years and there are two new servers there and WOW very engaging, wonderful personality, genuine in there interactions, I mean you want them to sit with you and have dinner. I highly recommend you ask for either of them to be your server you wont be disappointed. Oh..I guess it would help to share there names huh? They young lady name is Ameena and the guy server is Glenn. Great Job Red Lobster!

Had a very good experience. We were celebrating a birthday of a loved one that had passed away the week before. The waitress was amazing and she didnt know till the end what we were celebrating. I wish I could remember her name. Best service we have had anywhere in a long time. We told the manager what a great job shes had done. Our food was great too. Just over all a Great experience. Going back for mothers day. Cant wait.

Its a shame when your beverage tastes better than the food...the meal was horrible...the cooks basically dumped a ton of seasoning on my flounder...the broccoli was overcooked and soggy...my calamari appetizer was overcooked....the entire meal was horrible and yes I should have requested to see a manager but I simply left knowing that I will never waste another penny at this establishment....

Food is awesome. Love tasting the new items that Red Lobster has to offer. Wine selection is good too. Wheelchair accessible, place is easy to find, plenty of parking. Clean bathrooms. Servers have vast knowledge of the menu and drinks and theyre friendly too, very professional.

This was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had at ANY restaurant. The food was cold. It was a net flying around landing on our food. The food was not good. The best part of this experience was the biscuits. I will NEVER come back to this location.

I honestly dont understand the fascination with this place. Its just not good. Service is pathetic, the food is always hard and dry. They dont even make a decent salad. I only go to this place when its for a family birthday. Next time I think Ill bring my own.

This is the worst place to find a good waitress. This is the second time Ive ate Here an the service was awful! First time was bad, but this time it was even worse. I will not be back here. Ill spend my 35.00 somewhere else for seafood. Poor service!!!!!

This place is inconsistent. Sometimes its great and other times its not great at all. Guess it depends on whos in the kitchen. My last visit was not great at all. Ordered crab legs only. No flavor and biscuits were cold and hard.

If you like delicious seafood and friendly servers, this is the place to eat. Prices are reasonable. Food is served fast and hot. Cheddar, garlic biscuits are endless and delicious. A great choice to make when you are hungry.

Bait and switch! Do not eat here. We were supposed to get the 4 course meal and they cut the entree portion size in half with out warning, but the price is the same. Poor customer service and management.

The fresh catch served blackened is usually a safe bet. Other options tend to be too fried or oily for my taste. If you want steak, go to Outback or Longhorn instead.
