Just finished dinner there. I'd have to say my impression is an equal mix of the previous reviews. The crab dip they serve as an appetizer is disgusting. My husband got the Crab Cake platter and couldn't finish it because the cakes tasted too fishy and were disgusting. We shared the seafood platter that I ordered (fried shrimp, scallops, oysters, fish and stuffed crab). The shrimp, scallops and oysters were very good, the crab so-so (not good enough to finish) and the fish was horrible, one bite eat and we were done. The atmosphere was ok, it was slow and I felt like we needed to whisper the entire time because it was almost dead silent, you could tell music was playing but not loud enough to make out the words. Got a banana pudding to go, paid $4 for roughly 4 ounces, this better be the best banana pudding I've ever had but by the looks of it I will be disappointed. The servers were nice, just pretty much silent. The sweet tea was great though. I am doubtful we will be back. $48.00 for ok food and service. *edit - ok I tried the banana pudding. Its disgusting. Its made with some kind of banana flavored mousse and Nutter Butter cookies. Bleh!!

The service was great. But the food was severely overpriced. I heard it was pricey but took a chance thinking the entrees would be worth the extra buck. Sadly mistaken. Im not the one to place negative reviews on an establishment but Im only writing this in hopes that the management may take notice. I spent 62 dollars tonight and honestly feel ripped off and let down. The crab dip was tarter sauce with very little insignificant crab meat and mostly shredded sharp cheddar cheese and the crackers were crumbled messes that made your fingers get more dip on it than the cracker. The buffalo shrimp was assumed to be grilled but it was breaded with just mouth burning sensation with very little flavor. The baked potato has foil in it. Again the wait staff was very courteous and prompt but its just a show to make you think the food is worth the ridiculous price they ask for. Tonight was my first time eating at the last catch and and my last.

Hands down the best seafood restaurant in North Georgia!! Really a diamond in the rough.The seafood is always fresh and delicious. Of course if you arent a seafood fan they also have great burgers, ribeyes, chicken, and prime rib. They also have a great selection of beer and wine. The customer service is excellent and the restaurant itself is very clean and well kept. Also their desserts from Alpine Bakery are to die for!

We travel quite a bit, and our first choice is always ocean front seafood. This place is as good or better than any coastal seafood place we have ever been. Who would have thought youd find that in Jasper, GA? The She Crab soup is amazing! And the shrimp and flounder was delicious. Everything about the mail was done well and tasted delicious!!!! Service was great and the owner very friendly.

Overpriced and Overcooked. Fried shrimp were as dark brown as the hush puppies they forgot to give us on the plate. They were overcooked in oil that had probably been in the fryer for a week. Crab cakes were nothing special! Service was good. No parking. Had to park at neighboring business. 5 medium to large shrimp, 2 crab cakes and a baked potato $17.50.

This is the place for fresh seafood!! Wonderful food and service. The owners Kim and her husband do a fabulous job and have designed and finished the restaurant with the beach and ocean in mind. The only down side is that they are a little pricey for dinner but lunch is good. Go and enjoy yourself. Tell Kim I sent you!!!!!

I dont know guys. Ive been there three times and havent been blown away yet. The clam chowder was the worst Ive had, the dip that they give out with crackers is inedible. Its got a great atmosphere and friendly service though and its great to have a seafood restaurant in a town like this. I just wish it tasted better!

I was craving grouper and this place was terrific! If youre missing the beach and want some seafood this is a wonderful place to go with great and surprisingly fresh seafood and a very beachy atmosphere! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. We will certainly be back.

Deliciously prepared seafood. The fried fish is beautiful....almost no breading/batter to speak of. Lightly coated and lightly fried. Not oily or overcooked. Very good service. You pay for what you get! Fresh seafood! Out of the way for me, but I try to get there every 4-6 weeks.
