Out of 5 stars, I give this restaurant a .2 – Greasy, heavy, overly-portioned food. If you’re looking for a neighborhood Pick-A-Dilly, STOP THERE FIRST. A scar on the face of Douglasville. Hard to believe that Chili’s gave up such a potentially strong business atmosphere and dropped the ball to hand it to Sea Breeze. I have good reasons for such strong criticism of this “restaurant”. As far as I saw, tacky indoor/outdoor (regarding the large, clunky road-side sign displaying the neon-florescent culinary abortions of the day, coupled with messy wallpaper paintings), and a menu that is FAR too complicated to even begin to adhere to. Service-wise, I can’t complain. I have to say that I actually felt sorry for our waitress, because approaching the table, you could obviously tell that she was stuck in the seventh circle of hell and completely miserable with her job, the antics, and the routine procedure of being completely degraded by claiming herself as an employee to such a slave ship. We ordered our food, as first time visitors, and soon discovered (after battling our way through an unaccompanied front door upon entering), that the food was just NOT WORTH IT. My fish was undercooked horribly, (my wife and I ordered the Snapper, usually a very enjoyable fillet of fish) and the lettuce in my salad was brown, wet, and slimy. After discovering that there was a HAIR in my tea, I requested that my wife be brought a Coke. Upon being seated, I noticed that under our table was DISGUSTING. There were chunks of food and crumbs left over from the previous table. The bottles of sauce placed next to our napkin holders were filled with Tartar, Cocktail, and Ketchup sauce were warm and had been contaminated by who-knows-what. Leading into the kitchen on the east interior of the dining room is a door where staff enters and exits. While waiting for our entrees at our table, I noticed that each time the door opened, it exposed a garbage bin overflowing to the point to where trash and food spilled out onto the kitchen floor. Beside the trash bin was a stand that held brown “tubs” overstacked with plates and other garbage. These are serious health code violations and immediately brought my attention to address my wife. Restrooms were a NIGHTMARE: paper towels on the floor, soap on the bathroom counter, and a toilet that I would mildly describe as “immediately needing attention”. I would not recommend this place to my friends, colleagues, or family, much less my worst enemy. Upon requesting our poor server’s manager, we were greeted by a short, foreign, oblivious man by the name of Shandrum(?). What a joke! He proceeded to tell us (in an unintelligible form of semi-English) that he was sorry, and asked us if he could provide us with a substitution to our meal that we respectfully declined. Douglasville, if you have the means and funds to spread about the service industry, from a connoisseur and critic to the average person, trust me…AVOID SEA BREEZE.

A few months ago, some friends and I ended up at this place because the place that we were going originally was closed. On our way back to Atlanta, we just happened to see this place and decided to stop. There were a lot of people waiting so we figured the food at this place must be good. Although we there were a lot of people waiting to be seated, we did not have long to wait, fortunately. The server was very nice and very quick in serving us, as well as knowledgeable of the menu and the prices. The menu wasnt very extensive, which was good, so it made it easy for me to choose what I wanted for dinner. As normal, I got the fried fish platter, which was very good and extremely filling. There was more that enough food for a hungry man to eat and still have some left for a midnight snack. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food that we ordered. We all were very pleased with the food and the service and all agreed to go again if we were on that side of town.

I dont generally write reviews for restaurants, but I honestly felt this place deserved a good one. We took my son there for his birthday, because he loves it. I got the grilled salmon and I have to say it was by far the best-grilled salmon Ive ever had. Portions were great, filled up and was still able to take enough home to eat for lunch the next day. Prices were a bit high for my taste, family of 4 is going to be looking at $50+, but the food is definitely worth the price. Staff was nice and courteous, no wait on seating and we got our appetizer and meal very quickly. We went around 4:30PM on a weekday, so Im not sure what its like later in the evening or weekends. We will be going back though. If you want great seafood, then Id suggest you pass big red and give Sea Breeze a shot, well worth it.

Ive read through the reviews and dont understand some of them. I know experiences differ but weve been to this restaurant many times and had great service each time. EVERY time weve been, the manager, who was not a foreigner, came to our table and asked how things were. A possible answer to getting sick each time is the portion size, you get PLENTY to eat. We leave miserable every time, but its from overeating, not bad food. The salad is perfect every time! The food is prepared properly each time, in that its the right temperature and fully cooked. The hush puppies are my wifes favorite. We would spend double, if not more, to eat next door at Red Lobster. Nick, whos been there for a long time is the best waiter/waitress they have. Not that everyone of them isnt friendly, hes just the best!

Eat here if you have your tetanus up to date, tons of money in your pocket, and your taste buds dont work. Red Lobster was super full so we ate here. We spent more here then we would have at Red Lobster, got less food, and the sea food tasted straight out of the freezer.... did they even cook it? Who are they fooling with the decor? Little boats everywhere....The water fountain is nice, complete with a big "DO NOT PLAY" paper sign great for taking pictures in front of. It is small to get around. We spent $70 dollars for tasteless meal for 5. Save your money... save your tastebuds, eat at Red lobster... hell... even eat at Captin Ds or Long John Silvers... run away from this place.... save your wallet!!!!

This seafood place is ABSOLUTELY the best around. These brothers got the seafood thing down pat. Hands down the best white fish and shrimp EVER. My husband is very vocal with his opinions about restaurants. Hes been in the food industry for yrs. so its quite impossible to please him most of the time. HOWEVER this restaurant is on his top five probably being #2 because hes such a carnivore. I was amazed and delighted. I love seafood and love this place. VERY large portions for the price and the tartar sauce..... yum, yum!

The worst experience I have had. This is my fourth time over three years and tonight was the worst experience. I brought my family from out of town and immediately was greeted with filthy tables and floors, sticky menus, and horrendous service. Took 10 minutes to get our waitress to the table for drinks, and another 20 to see her again. The host had to come get our refills. Manager came over and the service stayed terrible. Will not be back. Ever.
