All I can say is what a great experience for a first visit and thank you Yelp for recommending. Ive passed this place several times going to Fitzgeralds so glad to finally visit. Imperial has a wide array of artisan drinks, great staff and wait for it.....LIVE MUSIC! The band was AmAzing and they played maybe 4 sets with a wide range of music and genre so I highly recommend catching the live music. A few friends were in attendance so we got the chance to taste several things on the menu from Whiskey, Gin, Vodka to the sweeter drinks which were all amazing! I personally would have liked them to be a little stronger (Imperial/Toki Old Fashioned) but the taste was there. Fresh ingredients, presentation, taste just all around just make them a tad stronger lol. Overall such an awesome place to take friends and its a cool date spot. My only input is it gets a little loud with the live music so it becomes hard to hear friends and carry on discussions while theyre playing but once they take a break its all good. Just chill on the conversations until they finish and enjoy the music its so worth it .

Very disappointing. Ive visited twice, only returning in hopes that my initial visit was a fluke. The beer list is terrible, it was really difficult to find even a single beer that I would want to drink for free, much less pay for. The food was memorably bad both times. On the positive side, the service was a little slow but not bad overall. And the vibe seems pretty lively, but could seem a bit too loud and busy if a big game is on. May 2017 Update: I came back one last time on a weekday afternoon looking for a change. 10+ minutes after arriving and not getting any help, I found my own menus and asked the bartender if they still had a beer listed on the menu. They had never even heard of the beer. When asked if I could get some help, the bartender said, "oh, your server is over there talking to a few people." After waiting several more minutes with no help, we had to leave. Too many other good options in Decatur to be ignored for 15min by people who dont know the beer they serve.

Im a fan of this place. Their staff is super nice and accommodating. I had a drink that I fell in love with when I was out of state. They were willing to make it for me from a picture of the menu from that restaurant. And they do this every time I go there now! Their poutine is yum - of course add the bacon (duh). And Im a huge fan of their burger because its not huge. Its just a tasty burger that you can eat without feeling like youre going to explode afterwards. Definitely a must go!

I love this place. Burgers are smaller, but a reasonable size. The beer selection is fun and changes regularly. The southern poutine is fun. Other appetizers are good, too. The homemade pimento cheese spread is quite good. The patio is a fun spot to spend an evening drinking, eating, and chatting with family and friends. Neighborhood families come to enjoy specials like half price bottles of wine on Wednesday. The service is friendly, but a little relaxed.

Really good local pub and especially nice when the weather allows front porch sitting. Im partial to the Philly Cheese but like the burgers as well, and I almost always start with the Spring Roll. Its my favorite--so salty and good! Dont bother with the chili...Ive given it a chance on multiple occasions and it has always disappointed unless bland is what you prefer. Its my only complaint.

Just about everything you could reasonably expect from a neighborhood bar. Decent food, above average beer selection (for Decatur - in many neighborhoods their selection would be considered extraordinary), and a great patio make for a nice evening out without breaking the bank. I probably wouldnt drive here, but thats not the point - every night cant be a Kimball House night.

Local bar and restaurant with that Cheers feel. Super friendly bartenders, large food portions and outside patio where you can sit with your dog. Some of the tables inside are a little too close for privacy, so more of a bar for social gatherings with friends over a perfect date spot.
