I visited here for a date last night. I checked a few places in the area and applied my personal critique to each place. I knew when I checked Yahoola Creek Grill, it was just right. We loved the atmosphere. The food was excellent!!! Everything was bright and clean, everyone was friendly and upbeat, the prices were very reasonable. It was just a great experience and memory. The waitress was very sweet and the hostess was extremely accomodating. They are a classy crew. Well-dressed, helpful - the works. And all that just for a couple of customers in their 20s. I highly suggest this place to anyone who appreciates casual to fine dining in a serene, elegant yet homey place surrounded by a lush green mountain right outside the window. The burger was great (BBQ sauce was perfect). Im going back to try their chicken fingers. My date had a salad. She claimed it was the best salad shes ever eaten - and girl knows her salads. Youll be glad you went, just like I am!

First of all, we didnt come here to view the creek, we came here to have lunch and are so glad we did! For appetizers we had the fried pickles (totally yummy, and they fry the entire pickle then pair with with delicious dipping sauce) and the fried green tomatoes (pretty good, and the goat cheese was a great touch). For entrees we had the artichoke wrap and the soup of the day (veggie). The artichoke wrap was very unique and tasty and came with thick-cut, well seasoned fries. My mother got the grouper sandwich which she said was excellent. The veggie soup had a tomato base and was very hearty and chunky. For dessert we shared the flourless chocolate torte which was outstanding, not overly sweet and very rich. Our waitress seemed sincerely friendly, the service was prompt, and the food came out quickly. We would not hesitate to return to this location.

My girlfriend and I heard very good things about this restaurant, silver spoon award winning and everything. So we decided, on a Saturday night, to give them our business. I was excited to try their award winning shrimp and grits. Granted, we did not have a reservation when asked, but were seated out on the deck after about a five minute wait. We were asked for our drink orders and after about a 25 minute wait, watching the two servers servicing a very small deck with about five tables, we decided to leave. I was very disappointed by the level of service we (did not) receive. Ive dined at much finer establishments and never waited 25 minutes before being told that the server would at least see us as soon as she could. But not even the dignity of that. We were ignored. So we left. Made a reservation at the Back porch oyster bar instead.

Starting with the very pleasant waitresess, to our order being taken in less than 3 minutes, our drinks came to us in less than 2 minutes, fried shrooms were next, then our salads and wonderful sandwiches, it is like this every time we dine at Yahoola Creek Grill. And, the desserts are to die for. We started going to this restaurant the week after Christmas and have been going twice a week or ordering dinner to take home. It is so wonderful, and if truly want to treat yourself or others, head on over there, you wont regret it. The burger is so different, whoever thought of putting a fried green tomato, pimento and cheese on a burger??? Well we werent sure of how it would taste, but OH MY GOSH, I wished it had been my idea, its really good, everything is good!!!!! Go enjoy yourself, you deserve it. :)

This was such a nice spot for breakfast and lunch. The view was great. The staff was wonderful. We were a large group and it was pretty crowded so it was taking some time to prepare all of our food so the manager sent over some mini blueberrie muffins to hold us over while our food came out. The service was exceptional!! I wasnt sure of the wild rice cakes for tha Salmon Eggs Benedict so the chef recommended I try one of each, English muffin and Wild Rice cake. I personally preffered the English Muffin for breakfast. I will be coming back for sure.

First time at this place this evening with my significant other. Had been referred with rave reviews by neighbors. Was unaware reservations were necessary. The few seemingly local patrons were not at all "a crowd". We were seated, brought drinks & ignored & skipped over by the scowling blonde & slow-moving brunette. Eye contact was made, but no attempt at greeting our table for service. This place doesnt deserve one star, due to the worst guest service & highest level of ignorant & discourteous treatment We have ever experienced in "fine dining."

We have given them three chances-probably wont go back. Two dinners were a big disappointment. One lunch was good. Suggestions: do not put something on the menu that is seasonal and you wont always serve. try tasting the food before offering to your customers. Some sort of root vegetables were much like cardboard, far far from home made. Green beans not done. Steak was tough and very undercooked for med-well. Their humus is great...

What a gem! Each time I go, Im consistently pleased with both the food and experience. Many of the restaurants in Dahlonega can be overpriced and crowded, while Yahoola Creek Grill, though its far away from the Historic Square, demonstrates excellence in cuisine without the steep price. The porch dining is lovely in the Fall and they provide outdoor heating and blankets if it gets chilly. Definitely recommend.

Ive passed this place many times, and wondered if it was a good as it looked. Not only was the food fantastic but the price was great. They have a great selection of beer and wine, the atmosphere reminds me of a log cabin, and they have a nice patio. The chicken and waffles will challenge anything youll find on Diners, Drive-In, and Dives, amazingly good. I will definitely be back to enjoy once again.

We waited for over an hour for our food and the food wasnt even good also the girl and guy behind us the girl spilt her water on herself and she just stood there and kept pouring her more water she said "do you want me to go get you some more napkins?" And she came back with a drink for the guy and didnt bring any napkins also the wait and the food was so not worth $85.00 in total

The building is absolutely beautiful. However, the view from the patio is not what you expect. All you can see is the road, construction equipment, and trees. It is not actually on the creek at all. Our waitress was friendly, but our food was very slow getting there. It was very pretty on the plate but the awfully bland taste and cold temperature completely over-ruled that.

My boyfriend and I went to a romantic dinner for Valentines day at Yahoola Creek Grill. The atmosphere was perfect and they had a very extensive list of specials for the holiday, all at really great prices! Everything was wonderful and the cheesecake was amazing! The food came out in great timing and the service was wonderful. Guys, you should bring youre girlfriend here!

Great food, some service! Came in for dinner on a sunday. Basically by ourselves in there aside from one other table. First server was fantastic. She left as we were eating. Second server... eh. Nice girl but took forever. Food was great. Had chicken and waffles. Wife had fried green tomato burger. Loved it! Would be a five star review if service was steady.
