On March 9, 2014 I patronized Therapy Coffee Bar and Lounge for the first time. I ordered a $38 bottle of Charles De Rose(the most inexpensive bottle of Rose on the menu), 1 coke, and 2 bottles of water. This establishment offers four different types of Rose therefore I specifically pointed out my champaign of choice to the waiter. 45 minutes to a hour later the champaigne still had not arrived at our table so I reminded the server of my order. About 15 minutes later a second server delivers, opens, and pours the champaign for all 5 guest which emptied the bottle (the empty bottle was removed from the table). The original server that took my order never returned to the table. After waiting nearly an hour we signaled a third waiter for our bills. Once the bill finally arrived to the table I noticed that mine totaled $219.25 which included 1 coke ($2.00), 1 water ($2.00), one bottle of Moet Nector Rose for $170, and $31.32 gratuity. Moet Nector Rose is not listed on this establishments menu at all, in fact the most expensive bottles are listed at only $135. When we told the third server that there had been a mistake he sent the second waitress back to our table who apparently may have been the manager. I explained to her that the bill was not reflective of what I had ordered. She then told me that what I ordered is not what had been brought to the table and that she could not “take a loss” by honoring my original order. She only agreed to remove $30 from the bill. I think that it is absurd that I was charged for a $170 bottle of champagne that I did not order and that is not even listed on the menu. My card was swiped for $176.40 after the $30 deduction but it should have only been swiped for 51.92 + tax. This price would have included 18% gratuity, a $38 dollar bottle of champaign, 1coke ($2) and 2 bottles of water ($2x 2=$6) It was a busy night, the server forgot our order and instead of confirming the order the staff assumed that I had ordered the most expensive bottle of champaign that is not even listed on the menu. I understand that our original server forgot our order, then made a mistake while completing the order, however it is not the customers responsibility to pay for a employee mistake. Consumer BEWARE!

My girlfriends and I checked out this place the other night. Two of us had never done hookah before and the other was new to it. But we figured it would be fun to try something different and get some dessert after dinner. This place is part of small strip of stores with a snug parking lot. We were lucky to find a spot when we pulled in around 8:30p on a Friday night. We were also lucky to get a table inside! The three of us shared a both that I think was really meant for two. The first thing I noticed was their dessert case, because dessert! So after my friends decided on a flavor of Hookah (Queen of Sex??) we all picked a treat. One went for the creme brûlée and ate every bite! The other got the chocolate raspberry cake, which had layers and quite a bit going on. It was a circular cake about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide and seemed to have two layers - a spongecake on the bottom and chocolate mousse on top with a raspberry glaze to top it off. But this ended up being inaccurate. The bottom half is actually an outer ring of sponge cake filled with the top layer. The top layer seemed to be a dense chocolate cake. My friend wasnt crazy about the sponge cake part or the layer of raspberry on top, but she can be a picky eater sometimes. I went with the chocolate mousse with whipped cream on top. The whipped cream was a little weird - very dense and had a weird aftertaste. Maybe it wasnt whipped cream at all?? The serving of mousse is quite generous, but was a tiny bit too sweet for my tastes. Having a smaller portion or having it paired with a fruit might have been nice!

Absolutely amazing. Our server was Cyrus and he kicked ass. He ensured we had a great time without being a pusher. When we had a recommendation, once the pull was too strong so we suggested that he use a different configuration of the coals and he did so w no problem. He even made a custom blend for us. We didnt get food but the drinks were outstanding. Once again, Cyrus made it easy to enjoy our visit by ensuring that our drink refills came promptly. The atmosphere is the star of the show. Its a great chill spot. The crowd was very diverse (from college girls w their Macs talking about term papers, to frustrated middle management types, to those who come just to come) and everyone was well behaved. Before the sun goes down, they play some online service (sounded like a Chris Brown playlist from Rhapsody), but when it got later, they switched to a DJ that was truly worth his salt. Bottom line: a very good experience from a group that has mastered their craft. Its money well spent and I honestly have nothing negative to say about Therapy.

Touted as a coffee & wine bar by Google; let me assure you, it is NOT. I came here to hang out for a while with a glass (or 2) of wine and get some work done. While yes, they do have electrical outlets at each booth so, in theory, you CAN work here but the R&B (only!) music is MUCH too loud, there is just ONE Chardonnay on the menu, the hookah smell was overpowering and the demographic is NOT diverse (I was the only white person here). Further, the square footage is much too small to allow hookah but alas, they do. Lastly, anyone who is into wine knows that white varietals are not served stemless. Heat is terrible for Chardonnay and changes the overall taste; hence, the reason it is ALWAYS served in a stemmed wine glass. Not the case here. Clearly, they are NOT a wine bar at all. Im giving it two stars, instead of one, because my server was quite nice and the establishment was indeed very clean and well maintained. However, its absolutely not the same environment Google described.

I was BLOWN AWAY by this place! Everything about it is just TOP NOTCH! The service was OUTSTANDING! The drinks and cappuccino was delicious. They dont serve food from the lounge but you can order food from the Ethiopian restaurant menu 2 doors down (I assume its owned by the same people/person/family) and eat it in the lounge. I had never eaten Ethiopian cuisine before so I didnt know what to expect. I ordered the fish tibs and it was awesome! The dish was big enough for 2 or 3 people to eat at once. The hookah was great.... all this for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back to this place on a regular basis. I recommend this place to ANYONE looking for a nice, relaxing atmosphere and good food.

Okay so there was three of us, lets just start off with the bad reviews on here make it seem like such an awful place but that was not the case. We got in we got greeted immediately and sat down our server Eden was AMAZING, she was always checking up on us and making sure we were okay. I loved the atmosphere and the diversity in music. Last night was carnival in ATL so it topped it off when they were playing reggae and African music. Their hookahs pulled so gracefully and their food was to DIE for! You must try the Greek fries they are a must! The drinks were small but so good!!! You honestly get what you pay for! Its in the middle of nowhere seeing how we live so far but we will be back!!
