I am split between the ambiance. The high maintenance side of me did not like the decor, what so ever. However, the other side of me, liked that it felt like a hole in the wall restaurant. It felt like it was my little secret, tucked away among other small stores. That being said, the brilliance of hole in the wall places is that they serve the most amazing food. This, in my opinion, was not the case at all. I ordered the Chicken Tikka lunch special, which was $8-$10, and it was ok. Nothing exceptional. This seems to be a very popular place, so I could be among the minority in my opinion. I did like that it came with a mini appetizer and a mini dessert. On the plus side, you definitely receive your moneys worth in the amount of food you receive. The service was also average. No one who pleasantly greeted us or offered any suggestions, but I guess thats to be expected from many Indian restaurants.

Oh me, oh my. I love Indian cuisine and this is solid fare. The lunch specials are the best value for the quality and variety of food you get. My baseline dish I get at all Indian restaurants (to gauge quality) is the chicken tikka masala. Their version leaned more towards the tomato side. It was creamy, flavorful and simply delicious. Probably one of the best Ive had in Atlanta. The soup is a nice start. I really enjoy the veggie samosa with the 3 sauces/dips - onion chutney (my favorite!), a mint one and a tamarind based sauce. Service is A+. The owners are usually the ones seating and serving. Tables are limited and depending on when you go, it can be empty or filled up. Ive been for dinner several times as well and food is consistently good. Try the dinners for 2. Plenty of food to share and try,

Moon is in our neighborhood, and we have driven past it hundreds of times without any interest in stopping. I guess we assumed that a tiny restaurant in a rather unexciting strip of eateries could not possibly produce outstanding Indian food. How wrong we were!!!!! From the excellent Naan to the wonderful Chicken Saag with spinach and rich, spicy Veggie Marsala, we had a delightful meal. The owner came over to talk with us on several occasions to be certain all was well, and it is clear that he is very proud of and committed to his restaurant and those who dine there. Even the Pinot Grigio from an Italian boutique winery was very, very good (and I drink a lot of wines). We shall frequent this little gem regularly and are so appreciative for its presence in our neighborhood.

This is a great place. Looks like a dive, and feels like a dive. However the food is fantastic. Have to know what to order - order the right things and you will be in heaven. As an appetizer, do yourself a favor and order the Prawn Poori. It is fantastic, and by far and away, the best appetizer on the menu. Lamb vindaloo and Shrimp Saag are what you need to get for the main course. Delicious. My main complaint is that because I am white skinned, they wont make it spicey hot enough for me, no matter how much I plead for them to turn up the heat! A small matter. Sit out on the terrace, grab a beer, and enjoy some fine Indian cuisine.

The worst Indian food I have ever seen. The food is not Indian at all. The other 5 star reviews doesnt seem genuine. If u eat u will retreat it for sure. There is nothing Indian at this restaurant except the name. The owner is Balgladeshi so as the cook. The waitress is southern lady. And the food is not Indian for sure. Yes, they have attempted to make Indian food and no doubt in that but it is not authenticate Indian taste. I had lunch once and the food wasnt good. It is a very small restaurant and not good for big group gathering. Limited parking space and too much traffic around this place.

Bread was good but rest of food was very salty. I ordered two dishes the same - asked for one to be made with out ginger and the other one as normal. When I got food they said they forgot to remove the ginger. We didnt eat the food due to it being too salty and ginger. They asked if everything was okay and we told them this was not what we ordered and food was salty. They just said sorry. Never even offered to make it correctly. They saw we did not eat our food and only offered boxes to bring it home. Of course they did not remove it off our bill either. Waste of $70 and time.

This is a hard place to rate because their food is so inconsistent- I have had both the best Indian food and the worst Indian food here. My husband and I got tired of not knowing which it would be, so weve moved on to another restaurant (Heart of India which is wonderful). The last time we ordered from here, the curry was super runny, watery, and flavorless and the paneer was as hard as a rock and chewy in texture. Its sad because they have the best lassi and we have had some awesome dinners from here.

Im not sure Im qualified to judge Indian food, however my co-workers recommended it and frequent the place for lunch so I feel that if we both like it, Im on the money. Very good food, though service can be a little slow and its a bit pricy, but for the occasional meal its absolutely worth it. The owner is a super nice dude too. Also, its the only Indian restaurant Ive been to where when I ask for "Indian Hot" they actually give me that instead of "American Hot" because Im a white dude.

I eat here frequently, about 5 times a month. I love the okra dish, the Lamb Korma, the amazing super crispy puff-ball of bread (sorry, dont know its name), the vinadloo, the tomato soup made with ginger!, the...really I like it all. But my favorite is the Lamb Korma. Suprised to let you know, my picky eater likes their Lamb Korma, too, and loves the Naan bread! The Lunch Special really is special, great price for good food and generous portions!

One of the best restaurants inside the perimeter of Atlanta. There is no comparison of Cheese Nan and Malai Kofta. You would never find food which is too oily or not prepared well. Even the pakoras are never broken or dipped too much in oil. Recently I tried plain parantha(bread whole wheat) I never thought it would have been that great. Its my to go place for good food. I visit regularly and would keep visiting till I leave from Atlanta.

We love moon indian cuisine. The delivery is fast and easy. If you go in for lunch it is a FANTASTIC price for all the food you get. Our favorites are the vegetable pakora, chicken tikka masala, veggie masala, veggie curry, channa masala. The mulligatawny soup is awesome! The naan I will admit is sometimes subpar to what I expect...I have started to just ask them to make it fresh and dont burn it. Great local indian restaurant!

I ordered the baingan bharta with naan and a mango lassi last night via UberEats. Baingan Bharta was great. I really enjoyed it. It tasted different than other baingan bhartas I have had. This reminded me of a Chinese eggplant, but in a really good way. Mango lassi tasted the same as last time, a little weird, but I drank it again anyways. I would say the actual food here is good, but not my go to for mango lassis.
