"If your reviews are looking like essays, start a blog. I cant read your life story on my phone before ordering from the menu" [Time of visit]: Sunday Afternoon [Party Size]: 3 [Location/Ambiance]: Sunday afternoons seems to bring more families as the big tables in the front were mostly taken by them and multiples of kids. The seats at the bar were wide open. And most people were doing to go orders, so theres plenty of seating in the back. slightly loud around the bar area. More quiet near Morrellis ice cream. Some people are not familiar with the "Fast casual" trend of restaurants I believe. Pretty much, you order at a counter, given a number, and a food runner brings the food to your table. Everything else is self served. One exception at FB, is if you sit at the bar. [Service]: There was a constant flow of customers lining up to order when we arrived, but with minimal wait time. I would say 6-7 mins at best as one bartender and another worker were both taking orders to move people quickly. I think with jotting notes on my note pad and using a mid range camera at the time, the bartender was very attentive on asking us if we were good. Guess Im bringing the "Critic" vibe when I have both of those in hand. I timed the duration after we put in our orders until the food came out. Around less then 10 mins for two separate orders at the same time. [Food Highlights]: #1 The Farm Burger w/ Bacon - Opted to cook medium. Perfectly pink on the inside due to resting as I was in-line again with another friend to order. Juicy on each bite, its a good burger but missing some pizzazz. It kind of lingers but dies out right after you get done chewing. The bacon was crispy w/o being burnt. I believe the caramelized onions added to the burgers flavor, w/o overpowering the taste. Tenderly cooked with a slight hint of sweetness. Though the buns soaked up most of the juices from the combination of the burger and onions and became slightly soggy. This wouldnt go well for take out and driving a long distance after to eat. - Good Rings n Fries - The onions had a good consistency on the batter which has hints of beer you can taste, but its very subtle. Each one had a crisp texture that leads to a slight sweetness on the back-end for the onions. The smoked paprika mayo goes well for dipping I think. Next up, fries were cooked well. Each were crispy though not overly deep fried. Though the fries were cooked very well, there wasnt any seasoning. I guess they leave up to patrons to add how much salt they want. Went better with ketchup. - Pretty good. Chicken Pot Pie Fritters - Best way I can explain it, home made taste (not made for the masses). Its moist with juicy bits of chicken. What kills it for me was that it didnt have much seasoning in it though the exterior was very well cooked. Served with something similar to cocktail sauce, this didnt help it much either. - Pass Mac + Cheese - Im biased, as I favor my mac and cheese to be gooey with cheese. Keep that in mind. The cheese was pretty watery in this one and really lacking any flavor itself. Unless you stirred up the BBQ you werent going to be tasting much. - Pass Original Sin - Hard Cider - This was sweetness on the front end, followed by more dry on the back-end then I expected. Im more of an Angry Orchard kind of cider fan. Not sure if this pairs well with fried food when you want something to wash all of it down. - OK. {Summary}: Farm burger does burgers well, I just feel that its missing that wow factor at the end of each bite. Its still a good burger. But I would hold off on putting them in my top 10.

First off, the girls that work the ice-cream/ milkshake area needs to really learn some customer skills. They were really rude, dont listen to the order, dont speak back, just the nastiest attitude. They act as if they really hate their job. People are coming in that joint spending $10+ on hamburgers, and $6+ on milkshakes. The last thing people need is an attitude from you. Second, this was our second time visiting, the first time, our meat on the burgers were THICK & JUICY, this time, the meat was very thin & mashed down into a McDonalds patty. The flavors are there, but the burgers are just too small for the prices. Ordered a side of their smoked paprika mayo on the side with BOTH orders. They forgot, so we asked the guy serving the orders for the mayo, he literally looked at my burger first and said he said hes only bringing one because mines already had some on the burger. I didnt ASK for it to go ON the burger, I asked for it on the side. Furthermore, I dont care if I DID have it on my burger already, I just paid $20 for 2 burgers, with an $8 tip, and you had a problem with giving me a side of mayo? And then you search my burger? Literally? If youre going to charge those prices, your quality and customer service needs to be better. Needless to say, we wont be coming back.

Great burgers and better ice cream make this chain consistently great. Build your own or go with one of the six recommended configurations. The patio outside overlooks the parking lot so its not really good unless youve got kids. My favorite burger is the one with the fried egg - sounds odd (and messy) but trust me, really tasty. The fries are good and they really go well with the Nancys pepper relish sauce. Actually, I think Im going to have to buy some of that sauce to keep at the house. I treat the fries like a pepper sauce delivery vehicle. Quick tip - the root beer on tap is brewed by local Marietta brewer Red Hare. Its a flatter and tangier flavor that Barqs and A&W root beer, which I really like. You cant end the meal without some of the morellis ice cream. My favorite is the chocolate malt but Ive tried several other flavors and am always happy. They even have some kind of ice cream alcohol floats (havent tried then yet)

Not enough good adjectives to describe how I love this place! Everything this place stands for, localize ingredients, sustainability, local jobs, ect. I love the employess, they are helpful, fun, and happy. They music always has me in a good mood. I always ALWAYS get their specials! Why?! Because they never steer me wrong! If you are looking for a plain burger with the basics, this place isnt really for you. If you are an adventurous eater and like to try new things especially on a burger, then this place is for you! I love to sit at the bar, there I can watch people looked puzzled by the menu. A lot of the ingredients are different, it tends to turn them off, but I love when I can get some people to try something outside of their box, they always love it! Sweet Potato Hush Puppies are a must try! And their beers and liquored milkshakes wont leave you disappointed either! I just love this place!

I have had two great experiences with Farm Burger so far and no reason to think the next will be any different. The bar/counter staff and servers are happy and helpful. I have tried the #1 blackboard burger as well as a build-my-own, both cooked exactly as ordered, and the beef was flavorful. The FB sauce is a popular option but I skipped it the second time around and did not miss it. The regular fries are very good (similar I thought to Five Guys) but try the FB fries with parmesan added. My wife tried the #4 sandwich, a chicken breast with gouda and more that she added the pickled jallapenos to, and she said it was the best chicken sandwich shes ever had in a restaurant. We have not tried the desserts but that counter is almost popular as the one for the burgers. Outstanding.
