Called on a Saturday evening to place a take out order an hour before it was needed (knowing it was a busy time). After calling several times and reaching a weird recording about the mailbox not being available, I called the Roswell location to ensure the phone number was correct. They assured me things were just busy there and to keep calling. After several more calls someone finally answered. I was told a take out order couldnt be placed for another 15 minutes... What? I was told to call back then and place it... I asked how she knew I would be next in line to place an order, and what would happen if someone else called just before me- would I need to wait 15 more minutes to place my order? She seemed confused by my questions. I let it go and agreed to call back. So, I called back, 18 times as a matter of fact, over the course of an hour or so. No one ever answered the phone. We have never eaten here, have a newborn and are therefore limited on dining out for a bit, and to say we were disappointed is a huge understatement. I understand being busy and not being able to answer every single call that comes in, but for the number of times we called and the time span of all of those calls I can only assume the ringing phone was completely ignored by the employees. What a shame.

Moxie has great food, a very friendly staff, a great draft beer list, and an awesome covered patio (pet friendly). We love this place - its a wonderful addition to the area. I just have one minor complaint and a suggestion. First, it closes too early at 9PM. I think that 9:30 on weeknights would be better and 10:30 or even 11PM on Friday and Saturday nights would be great, at least in the non-winter months when the days are longer. Our family is very active and we are lucky to be able to sit down to eat by 9PM on some nights. A few weeks ago we were there on a Friday night and couldnt get seated until almost 9 (it was pretty busy so we had to wait a bit) and it felt weird eating while the place was shutting down. And secondly, as good as the food is, I would eat there more often if there were more healthy options on the menu, particularly in the "snacks" section. As for menu suggestions, the Cadillac (lamb) is very good. And one of my favorites is the Heater with chicken - you might ask for the sauce on the side if youre trying to mind your calories. For a regular beef burger, you cant go wrong with the Moxie. And the kids always love the "King of Pops" popsicles.

I had one of the best burgers of life here. It was absolutely phenomenal. When ordering a burger at a sit down restaurant, I always have it cooked medium... I also ordered it with cheese, and lettuce, tomato and jalapenos... Oh, my gosh... Out of this world! My wife and I shared a basket of fries as well... Even the fries were great! You owe it to yourself to check Moxie Burger out. If youre a burger lover like myself, you wont be disappointed.

I couldnt be happier with the burgers here!! So so so good that its dangerous how close I live and how often I can go. I will say, though, the set up can be awful. With a line out the door there really should be more than one register open. Id much rather wait at my table than wait in line. I spent half the meal managing two kids while my husband stood alone to order. BUT the food was amazing!! Well be back - on a weekday

Overall just meh! Ive been to Moxie twice and both times the meal had little flavor, one trip was a chicken sandwich and the next one of their signature burgers, the blue ribbon. I hate to compare but my own fresh 85/15 burger grilled and with blue cheese has so much more flavor and its not due to tons of salt and pepper. Basically I gave them two tries and they dont deserve more of my money for dining out.

They have a chicken sandwich on the menu and it says you can have it grilled or buffalo... I asked for it fried and they told me they couldnt do it. Why I asked. I was given an answer that didnt really answer anything. But they offer to put chicken tenders on a bun instead. I just want a fried chicken sandwich!!! If they can fry chicken tenders, why cant they fry a chicken breast???

Excellent burgers!!! Probably in my top 5 burger choices. The sauces are top notch and fun to try. They actually cook medium rare if you ask...yum! The only complaint I had was about the sides -- the fried pickles were just OK and a little mushy (not crispy) and the sweet potato fries were way too sweet. But the fried onion straws and regular fries are excellent!!!

It was very busy when we came in and obviously felt very rushed through the line. I dont generally minds counter service, but with the amount of choices offered, I didnt really want to be hurried. The food was great and I found that if you sit at the bar, you can order food through the bartender. Speaking of bar they had an excellent craft beer selection!

Its so nice to have a gourmet burger spot so close to my home. They have to vegetarian burger options which is a big deal. But, the black bean burger isnt vegan. The toppings are extensive the staff is sweet. Theres a great outdoor play area for your children. Its not expensive. Ask for grilled cheese on their whole wheat bun. Your children will love it.

Love this place! Super excited to see you in the neighborhood. But we came to dinner on Sunday evening at 5ish and you guys had one register open with the line out the door and with numerous extra employees. It took us 30 minutes just to sit down. Hopefully next time you have more then one person ringing people out at dinner time! Well be back!

A disappointment in peak hours. Food and service drop off. Burgers undercooked even for rare. Also the sun on the patio is a killer in the evening. Better to eat inside or skip till an earlier time. Basically, if the line is long and the dining area is full, take a pass. I have had good experiences in off peak hours, food and service both.

Odd options that tasted great. I never would have thought of mixing a Turkey Burger with cranberries the way they did. Very unique menu will keep me coming back to try others like pimento and cheese with fried green tomatoes on a hamburger. Love that you can get half regular fries and half sweet potato fries. So many options.

My family & I LOVE Moxie Burger! They use high quality, fresh ingredients; the menu offerings are diverse and creative; and the wait staff is exceptional - friendly & attentive without being intrusive. The prices are above average for family dining but justified by the quality. Try the goat cheese fritters and zucchini fries!

Fantastic food, with the mount of options I feel like I could eat here twice a day, every day for a year and never have the same burger twice! The service was beyond friendly, downright impeccable. Chris and Aaron were super helpful, without being overly crowding. All in all, Im going back soon.
