This is a great bar with a super happy hour with a friendly staff. If you arent part of the student crowd, this is a place that will likely suit you before the students hit the town. Drinks are reasonably priced (you wont overpay for beer here and theres always a good, cheap special) and as others have mentioned the music tastes here are eclectic (its not a live venue, though). Once the Georgia Theatre is back up and running, this is a great jump off point for shows there. If Im going out for post-work cocktails, this is where I go.

Cutters is undergoing renovations and the back of the bar is a open construction zone. Darts and foos ball tables are tucked away in the back of the bar in what can only be described as a basement like setting. Up front the bartenders blast tunes from Pandora (blend of 80s yacht rock, with modern alt. rock and ska) during our visit. Over all the bar is okay if not simply average. $4 well drinks.

Cutters used to be a dirty hole in the wall, but in the last year, they got a major glow up when they took in the building next door and built a casino style elliptical bar in the center of the room. Definitely a big upgrade, and a better place to chill.

Awesome staff, and theyve got great taste in music (or great taste in Pandora channels, but still). Pool tables, darts, games galore, and even when its crowded it doesnt feel that way.
