Weve been waiting to try this place since they opened, and it was more than worth it. The place has two great outdoor patios, a very great indoor dining area, fantastic and attentive service. We never had to worry about water or drinks being filled, or food taking too long. We all shared a dozen oysters and poke tuna for apps, and they were both fresh and prepared beautifully and deliciously. I got the hot lobster roll, the brioche roll was out of this world, and the lobster (all claw meat, yay!) Was cooked perfectly! We all shared our plates because it all looked so good. Fish tacos, fried chicken sandwich, and fried clams and cod. It was all great. Very clean, friendly, and attentive staff. A very clean and open ambiance inside and out, and seriously good food. As a picky New Englander, I highly recommend this place! Please go and enjoy!

Overpriced bland food. Decor is cheap for the pricing. My hubby and I went on Tuesday night for dinner and drinks and the bartender had no clue how to mix. I ordered a Tom Collins and my husband had a Mojito and a Moscow Mule and all three drinks looked and tasted the same. The shrimp and grits literally tasted like they had poured Vidalia onion bbq sauce in them, the "large" lobster roll was anything but and very bland, the oysters were tiny and the hushpuppies burned. The place has nothing but hard surfaces so the noise level is intense; reminded me of school lunch room noise. If you must go hopefully youll have better luck but just to give you an idea of the cost for subpar food and expirience our total with tip was $130.00...

Did not have a great experience here. We sat on the roof deck only to be told that the menu was limited. Alright, dont really understand that, but whatever. Well figure it out. The waitress offered to bring us up the regular menu so we could decide whether or not to stay on the roof or dine downstairs. We waited 10-15 mins for the waitress and when she came back up, she completely ignored us. She made a full circle around to her tables, every single one. Except for ours. Wed had enough. It wasnt until we were walking away, already down the stairs and almost across the street, when the waitress finally noticed us. She came running after us, saying she was sorry that shed forgot. We said thanks, but no thanks.

Great little spot to grab a small bite or a big bite. Wife and I sat in front of the oyster bar for a couple appetizers of 6 Apalachicola oysters and the ceviche. This was spot on. While sitting there we noticed all the dishes coming out from the kitchen. The boiled shrimp and fish and chips looked awesome and very appetizing. We almost ordered those but we only stopped in for appetizers. Right before we left we started chatting with the managers of the restaurant. Very cool guys who were friendly and chatted a bit even though they were really busy.

Really really great seafood restaurant! Definitely on the expensive side but if youre a fan of fresh seafood, you cant go wrong coming here. The service was really friendly and helpful. Our server really helped us figure out the menu since I personally wasnt a seafood expert. We had the clam chowder, raw oysters, fish tacos, and crispy fish sandwich. Everything tasted really fresh and delicious. The food was definitely expensive but considering its in Avalon, its passable. We spent about $30 each to give you an idea.

I had great service by both the waiter and the manager. The food was great, didnt like 1 piece of my meal but I swore it was okay. I took a gamble and tried something new. It was all on me, but the manager came out with what I had been debating between, free of charge and was very cordial. We never complained, it was nothing on their part, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Some of the best customer service I have had in a long time!

Management is terrible. An hour and a half wait with at least seven empty tables inside and out. We waited for 25 minutes, The hostess told us they text people on the list. I think they were swamped and just did not want any more business. They could not handle the few tables they had. ThenThey told us they were not seating anyone outside because of the threat of rain but it never rained all night. Everyone who worked there seemed confused.

Foods fantastic when the kitchen can come through. Still a new restaurant so they gotta work out some kinks still. But for the most part they have a great seafood menu, friendly staff and good vibe. Clam chowder is the best Ive ever had and the burger is surprisingly the best in the avalon. Ask for Alexis to serve you if shes available! Shes charming, efficient and makes your experience that much more enjoyable!

Noon on Easter Sunday and missing half the items on the menu including the trout dip, calamari, CATCH OF THE DAY, sishito peppers....I lost track and the waitress said "I have this long list of items we dont have". Probably should have gotten that list before we waited 15 minutes to have our order taken. For the record, I eat out several times a week and this is the first negative review Ive left on Google.

Came with my husband for dinner and had a great time. So the next day i brought my parents. We waljed around the Avalon.. great casual place with lots of comfortabke outside seating and plenty of restaurants. My dad wanted fish so i brought them to Brine Seafood, same place i was the night before... All i can say is it was another awesome experience and the Shrimp, Crab and Avacado Salad was BOMB!!!!

We tried the oysters, clam chowder, fried cod and clam bellies, and a "large" lobster roll. They had a nice selection of oysters, but the food was just OK. Nothing completely spectacular. The lobster roll was not very big either. It was also much more expensive than we thought the quality was worth. However, the staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice and casual.

The food in this restaurant is terrible. I ordered grilled fish and a side order of green beans. They gave me the fish with lettuce. I was looking forward to the fish but it was quiet a let down. The fish had no seasoning and had no flavor. My daughter ordered a medium well hamberger which was not served as she ordered. We will not go back to this restaurant.

Perplexed as to why anyone would like this place. Maybe because its unique to the area...Mediocre food and service. Busy and loud. I had bartenders recommendation as best on the menu, the shrimp and grits. He said they were spicy. They were bland. Menu selection is boring. Meh. Decent local beer list. Too chaotic and unimaginative to return.

We have dined here 2x. The first was great. Second time service slow, food undercooked (made me sick, cod way undercooked- who wants that?), and we had to go in to ask for anything (crackers, iced T) more than once/ hope everyone has a better experience than we did/ wont be back-

We had the clam chowder, lobster roll, fried cod and shrimp and fried oysters. The oysters were the best fried oysters we have had. The lobster roll had a generous portion of lobster meat. Our servers were attentive and friendly. We sat outside and had a great experience.
