Let me start by saying, if it was my Birthday and you were going to take me out for lunch at a restaurant of my choice, up until today it would not have been a French restaurant. However after reading Liz Balmaseda column today in the Palm Beach Post about Bistro Bistro Bakery & Cafe Lori and I went there for a late lunch. Well be going back for sure. When we walked in it was like stepping into a quaint neighborhood Bistro that only locals visit, where the owner and staff made you feel like youre an old regular. The daily specials were written on a chalkboard with by the time we got there several choices were already marked through. We split a jumbo lump crab salad with a tasty Dijon dressing. At the table next to us the gentleman was asking about one of the daily soups. They brought him out a small sample, his eyes almost rolled back in his head. He said it was the best hed ever had. I ordered a cup, mushroom and Brie soup. Amazing. Especially with some crunchy French bread and butter. Sitting there looking at all the deserts and fresh baked goods, I tried to pace myself so I could try something sweet. I wanted something, heck I wanted a taste of all of them it looked so good but the soup and crab salad was so tasty I didnt have room for anything else. So we got a couple of things to take home. Ive got something to look forward to tomorrow morning. If you like to eat at places that do even the little things well, take a short drive to Northwood and enjoy a cafe Im sure Julia Child would brag about. Bon Appetite!

Came here once over a year ago. Ive been dreaming of going back again since! Ive recommended it to friends in that part of Florida. If theyve not tried it, theyre missing a fabulous experience. The owner overheard me wonder how much salt would be in a certain sandwich I was considering and suggested it wasnt for me, and offered several alternatives that were low in salt, that hed custom make for me! The results were sensational. Of course I tasted my companions dishes as well and they were both indescribably delicious! We all shared a pastry for dessert which was perfect! Great friendly service and super high quality food and preparation, with a casual atmosphere, whether sitting inside or out...and reasonable prices! This is one of my all time great places, anywhere! If youre near it, GO!Even if its a little trip, its more than worth it. Very highly recommended!!!

French food always seems to taste so delicious even if its the simplest of things! I got a soup salad combo - so good and plenty to eat. Great place to have a delicious lunch. Theres little tables outside and inside too. Its like a specialty deli mixed with a café and the people are very nice. The guys who served me even had a French accent, making this place seem pretty genuine.

If you are looking for a great lunch spot or just need a coffee accompanied by delightful pastry, you wont want to miss this place.The food is fresh, and delicious. The service is the best! I live in in Northwood and feel so lucky to have this amazing bakery and bistro in my neighborhood. The owners are lovely and the food really speaks for itself. My daughters favorite is the chocolate croissant and the mussels to go. The food is always fresh and affordable.

Having lunch with Laura. This little restaurant in Northwood. The food is absolutely fabulous. Genuinely French. The food is fresh and well prepared. Coffee and espresso will put Starbucks out of business. This cafe is truly a gem in Palm Beach County.

I confess that I mostly come here for the desserts. The chocolate croissants, the raspberry tarts, and the pistachio macaroons are the best I have ever had. I have also had the quiche Lorraine which was quite good.

Got a sandwich and it came with a side salad that was ginormous in size. Salad was decent but the sandwich was pretty great! Woopwoop!
