Took my lovely friend here the other night. We found this terrific little French cafe after a stroll down Lincoln Road...and Im glad we did. Its "proper" French cuisine at its best. Excellent service, delicious food, and a choice of atmospheres (quiet and quaint indoors or bustling and bit more city-like outdoors). We both had the French onion soup which was near perfect...just a tad too much salt, but tons of flavor from the onion and cheese that had awesome stretch. Afterward, we had mussels...lots and lots of mussels. She had the ones prepared in a tomato base. Mine were done in a garlic, cream, and wine sauce. Fantastic. Sadly by the end of the evening neither one of us had any room left for dessert or espresso. I would highly recommend this restaurant and even though its not so close to where I live, Id make the drive again and again.

This is my first review ever, and I just had to post about how great our dinner was this evening. Colettes has excellent service, great ambience, and the friendliest staff. Definitely not something youd think to find in south beach. The chef is also fantastic. As for the food, your table gets an unlimited bread basket with olive oil for dipping. We ordered the onion soup, the NY strip and the filet mignon. All were cooked to perfection. Dessert was also delicious, creme brulee and a chocolate lava cake. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

Colette is a wonderful small bistro with great service and beautiful food. Contrary to most restaurants, the chef took time and care over the food, which is what made this special. I cannot fault the food or the service and you would pay double the price in a bigger restaurant for just worse food.

Nice casual bistro with sidewalk seating in a quiet block just past the west end of Lincoln Mall. Well prepared french dishes accompanied by laid back and friendly service. Midrange pricing. I got the salade nicoise and thought it quite tasty.

Absolutely amazing the au gratin potatoes were nothing short amazing innovation as the were potatoes cut as thin as philo dough. With cheese inbetween each layer. I thought i was eating cheesy philo dough. Would definitely go back

We used to like Colette but our last experience was disappointing. The bread tasted as it was several days old, the water has an unpleasant metallic taste and French fries were soggy. Overall mediocre food and service.

First time, the bread is bad (pity for a French restaurant ) , meal Soso, Creme Brûlée wasnt from the day...(2 stars 1 for the French fries and 1 for the wine).
