A genuine French restaurant, with the quality and service you would find in Michelin starred restaurants. Pied à Terre was a very lucky discovery for our special day, we were in the area and decided to try it out. It is a very intimate place, a small dining room and we were lucky that it was not too crowded. There is no loud music but a pleasant background buzz. We wanted a quiet dinner where we could talk and we got exactly that. Patrick, the restaurant manager came to talk to us, introduced himself, and described the food as contemporary French. He was very nice and pleasant. Dishes are refined, tasty, delicious and healthy at the same time. We left the restaurant fully satisfied, but not overfed. Being French myself, I was very happy to be able to have the "ris de veau", one of my favorite French delicacies and it was delicious. The whole meal was excellent and very original and the description given to us by our waiter Kyril and Patrick was spot on. I am only sorry that we didnt get to try any of the other dishes, and desserts, that were out of this world. After dinner, our waiter took the time to show us the outside patios that are open in the cooler season, as well as the "Whiskey Box", a small private dining room for small parties. The cost is very comparable to other French restaurant we have been to, but I would say that the quality was the best that we have encountered so far in the area. A truly great evening.

Miami Spice Review Pied is one of those Miami rarities: exceptional service, the freshest and highest quality of ingredients, resulting in delicate, well balanced, beautifully prepared courses. Michelin-style dining in Miami. This restaurant is tiny and hidden inside the Cadet Hotel. I found it by chance, a couple of years ago during my stay at the Cadet Hotel. I have been wanting to try it out ever since. Upon arrival, you check in at the lobby. Shortly after, you are escorted up the six or seven steps into the secluded restaurant. The wine corkage fee is a steep $45. WHAT I TRIED: Asparagus Creme Brûlée and Salmon Salmon- exceptional Cold Terrine of Foie Gras- exceptional Seabass Peruvian Flavors- perfectly cooked and lovely flavors Lamb Chops a la Provencale- delicious Chocolate Tart- good Lemon Tart- good HIT: The Asparagus Creme Brûlée surprised me. Based on the description, I expected something completely different and was certainly not expecting it to be cold. The salmon and the tangy salad dressing harmoniously played off the thick asparagus cream. As an added touch, you now also receive an amuse bouche, even if you order from the Miami Spice menu. MISS: None. As usual, my experience at Pied à Terre did not disappoint. Miami Spice is the ideal time to try this hidden gem.

Un havre de paix surprenant à deux pas dOcean Drive et de Lincoln Road que nous ont fait connaître deux amis français installés à Miami depuis longtemps. Dans un petit hôtel de charme où chaque détail de décoration a été pensé avec recherche et avec goût. Avec dans le jardin différents recoins reposants et romantiques. Laccueil de Patrick, maître des lieux, est charmant. La cuisine saine et succulente, régulièrement renouvelée. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le bonbon de foie gras, le trio de foie gras, le chevreuil et le riz de veau agrémentés de Gevrey Chambertin 2012. Une authentique gastronomie française. Nous reviendrons régulièrement.

This is a TOP restaurant in Miami. First of all the owner will take the time to give you a full explanation about the menu, ingredient, how they cook and prepare your diner. The second, is the only place I know in Miami that is not afraid to make you try different wine before you place your order! Service is perfect, nothing to say about it. The best restaurant in Miami if you look for a fine dining experience! This restaurant is worth 1 Michelin star! If you love fois gras and a good "riz de veau", French cheese or other french specialities, you have to come here! Dont be fooled by the entrance of the hotel its not what it seems from the outside, its small Paris in the middle of Miami, you wont regret it!!!

Good food, decent service, although we wonder why they made us wait for 30 minutes in the lobby instead of the 10 minutes as we were told. Especially as the restaurant had 4 or 5 free tables. When you order your steak, order as if in an American restaurant, not a french one. Medium cooked steak was pretty much cooked through!

Get the tasting menu, and trust the chefs suggestions. The wait staff was very attentive, and informative. They described every item specifically, and paired wine with food items. I recommend Pied a Terre to anyone who loves food. Its the ultimate foodie place!
