This is not about food or service or drinks, we are talking a rip-off here. Plain and simple. We were a party of seven friends who came here for the first time just by chance (we wanted to try the Japanese restaurant just near by but it was packed) and decided to have a glass of red wine and some beers on the counter just before having dinner somewhere else. The place was nicely decorated, there was some smooth jazz band playing, a couple of tables were busy with some people having dinner. So we had our drinks and everything was running well until we decided to pay. First, the waiter seemed kind of annoyed when we asked to pay in separate parties (we were three couples and one single), but the real surprise was when we saw the bill: 12 dollars for each glass of wine!! And 20% mandatory tip!! So I gently asked for the wine list and of course there was no wine by the glass priced on it. When inquired about that, the waiter just mumbled something like "we just dont". So my next question was which wine had he poured for us and for my big surprise he signaled, smiling with satisfaction, the cheapest on the list, which costed 38 bucks a bottle!! By that point it was crystal clear that we had somehow annoyed that guy and that he was just taking revenge by scamming us. So, be advised, THIS PLACE IS PLAINLY AND SIMPLY STEALING FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS. Rouge, you just lost seven customers (which could be regular, we are in fact neighbours ) for good. BOYCOTT THIS PLACE

1 review 1.0 star rating 11/9/2016 We went for my husbands birthday.....He had seen on Facebook the beautiful outdoor area and the fact that Tuesdays was jazz night and really wanted to try it....When we got there the place was completely empty.....we asked to sit outside but they were a bit hesitant ....they told us that the live entertainment was only inside .......My husband wanted to take some pictures so we asked if we could go outside .......to our complete disappointment, it looked like an abandoned area.....the plants were overgrown, the tables were dirty and the floors had not been swept in a while................The indoors was nice an cozy Now to the food......We were five and all ordered an appetizer and none of us really like any of them......the cheese souffle (that we were told was their specialty) was tasteless and tasted more like egg than anything else. I ordered the pigeon and it had no taste what so ever ...I had to keep adding salt and even then it was horrible The pork was OK The steak was over cooked The risotto was the only thing we can say was good The prices are outrageous for the quality of the food .....it all tasted like it had been sitting in the kitchen for days .... Please stay away from this place ........It is really bad.......It is sad because it could be so nice if they fixed the outside and got a new chef.... The jazz player was very good but that was the only good thing I can say.

Let me start by saying that I really wanted to like this place and support a small local restaurant, we went on a Tuesday night for Jazz night. The setting was nice and the courtyard is cute in a shabby-chic kindda way . However the food and and drinks were GROSSLY over priced for the quality. Apparently the kitchen was out of salt that night because I had one of the blandest lamb meat ball dish Ive had in my life, the meat was drowned in a tasteless canned tomatoes sauce. My Friends had the same issue with their dishes. The "tagines" are served without a side so prepare to literally beg for bread. Several times. to soak up all that sauce. Now on to the drinks, they only sell wine and beer (which is fine) but they dont sell by the glass, only bottles. (so prepare to get drunk if you are a couple or dinning alone). The dessert selection is poor at best. Overall, bad experience, the food quality does not justify these prices !

The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The music and ambiance delightful. A bit pricey though, but worth it. Excellent Rioja wine. I enjoyed the 1920s Jazz show which matched perfectly with the restaurant theme and transported me to the years when I lived in Paris.... beautiful night! Some reviews state the owner is not nice but I guess those people are not familiar like I am, with relating to foreigners. Every foreign national had their own typical way of being and not necessarily is alike American way. I dont have complaints at all. He probably needs to be more "smiley" for the American taste, but for me he was a good host. Now, the waiter, hes very amicable and I congratulate him for doing such a good job!

Terrible service. We had a table of 13 and bought tickets from groupon, we asked if that was okay and they said yes. When they gave us the check they said they only accept 1 per table and treated us like garbage. The rules stated that it was 1 groupon per table, which was clear after 1 hour of being mistreated and yelled at as clients. The owner/manager of a restaurant should be able to negotiate with his clients and ABOVE ALL treat people with education and respect. The owner/manager of this place is a very cynical, uneducated and abusive person. I do not recommend this place because of the treatment that they give their clients and also, the food is awfully expensive for what it is.

Super nice waiter (attentive, fast and educated). Expensive chart (if compare with equivalents including Wynwood). Some appetizers (2 micro-pizzas, 1 soup, a salmon bite, egg souffle) and 3 bottles of Argentinian Cabernet $347, fortunately nobody decided for an entree. Good atmosphere and outdoor area, my wife love the decor and details. Management, more interested to push sales which is normal but therere not service oriented attention (hospitality standards, specially in Miami Beach, for them: 0 points). I tried to use Groupon (my 1st and last time) but basically it was not useful according to the rules of the place and groupon itself (its a scam to promote fat checks).

Worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. We had issues using a groupon as it was not specified that we could only use 1 voucher per table, when the person in charge came over to our table, instead of explaining his terms in an educated way he came off extremely aggresive and rude. He yelled at us and mistreated us in such a horrible way, that even the kids got scared. On top of this horrible incident, we were forced to pay their mandatory tip. He was so offensive that it almost feels unreal. The service was poor, they served our plates at different times and took forever to bring the food. Food was not good and overpriced. I DONT recommend this place.

A wonderful experience in a cute area of Normandy Isle, Miami Beach. However, there is no getting around how expensive it is, priced like South Beach restaurants - this is my only complaint. The food is delicious. We shared the bastilla, so warm with a perfect combination of savory and slightly sweet flavoring. I had the filet mignon with truffle potato puree - perfect cut of meat, tender, full of flavor. My partner had, his exact words - "The best veal lasagna Ive ever had". I had a taste and it was to die for - but steep at $28. Weve only been the once, wed return more if it was priced better.
