Do NOT go and try to get a pain pill after surgery.M_ _ _ _ said my surgeons licence was being investigated by the DEA and they could not fill the prescription+++.I did not believe that to be true,so I went to the store and called the head pharmacist and told him to double check the DEA number. He swore he was looking at it and it was indeed correct on his part. The good part--if you have a sense of humor..the MAN was eating a sandwich and laughing with the Techs. He was NOT even looking at the number. The man LIED. Prior to my surgery,I was filling my HRT(hormone replacement therapy)at this pharmacy and the same man told me they were under investigation again--by the DEA.Ladys, hopefully in the next 3-5 years HRT will be an over the counter medication IF the Lady brings documents that she has had her annual Pap Smear. My advice,go somewhere else PLEASE.I have spent 17 years of my life working at a local Major Trauma 2 Hospital and a level III lab Technician.I may not be a doctor or nurse, but at times we have had some serious medically related conversations ,but na un-insured drunk driver took my career away and broke my neck.Yes at times I am in a great deal of pain and will take a pill or two as needed,I get a 30 day supply and have not had a need to refill in THREE months---not a drug user. I was blessed by a friend who recommended .a private Pharmacy and after reviewing ALL my meds and knowing the Doctor who writes my pain pills was NOT a PILL MILL Doctor at all, accepted me as a client.I feel so peaceful by not having to deal with M- _ _ any longer and recommend you stay away for both your health and honesty.sincerely,V

Seems like everyone truly loves their job and will go out of thier way to help you from going in for one item to grabbing a shopping cart because that one item became one too many. The employees happiness even spreads to their customers because they are even willing to help because they are happy to be there. One thing about Publix I am questionable about their happiness is when they are waiting in a long line to checkout, which happens when you go to a store with this much love. Long lines just give me a reason to peer at their end caps and see a BOGO item I "forgot" ;) and get out of line to get it. Now that is indoubtably a good reason to "not mind" being in line...unless you have Häagen-Daz Ive cream which you got at their BOGO special. But wait...their is a solution. Just dont buy it yet and wait till your finally ready to be checked out and act upset you forgot your ice cream and the service bagger will happily skip to get your ice cream. Just make sure you have enough items in your cart to warrant such a demand and MAKE SURE YOU ASK THE FAVOR RIGHT BEFORE THEY SCAN YOUR FIRST ITEM!!! All other frozen items can manage till you get home. Publixly loved since moving here in 2001.

I love this store and used to shop at the Gandy one because of the Starbucks and everyone is friendly here except the front manager Dayna, every time Im in there and need help she has to get called from break lounge and looks upset to be inconvenienced, the employees know it because they say it too. She needs to learn to smile and take care of customer and not look like she doesnt have time for people. She would be the reason I go back to Gandy. The rest of employees are great. Jason in bakery is always friendly and of course I love Jon from Gandy. Shawn and Maria are also willing to help and Raul looks for stuff for me. Keep up the good work and get a Starbucks there- you will get more people shopping

Friendly but highly incompetent staff. Beautiful store with a convenient location that is sadly just not worth it. Every time I order online so I can save as much as my lunch break as I can, and every time my order is late and frequently incorrect. The management is nice but apparently useless. The training is basically nonexistent in the deli area. So far Ive only had 1 good experience with a competent worker in multiple times Ive been. Ive been told "Ive never made that before" on countless flat bread orders...its pretty simple food. I have also noticed cross contamination is an issue. One or two knives used over and over again from one order to another.

By far the best Publix in south Tampa. Right when you walk in it feels happy and employees seem happy and willing to help. The supervisors here are so much better than the old store! General manager is always smiling and she is friendly and when I special ordered an item The other supervisor was super nice. I still do wish they had an eat in cafe but only if its not raining its nice to sit outside at tables. Only problem is when it rains, I get wet instead of awning covering me. Just love the store and they always have what I want and seem happy to be at work. Thanks for redoing it.

I just came in to have my blood pressure check done for the company I work for. They work with a health team called eHealthScreen. One of the requirements needed in order for me to maintain my health insurance is to have my blood pressure taken. ..so I come in, asked politely if they could do me the favor and sign off. Micheal said no. I showed him the form. He still said no. So I was basically refused. After learning that a substantial amount of our drivers came into different Publix pharmacies. Over a blood pressure reading?! Mind blown.

This is a great Publix. Its very clean, always well stocked & friendly employees. The only downside to this Publix is that there are often sketchy men in the parking lot ( I think because there is a very large bus stop here.) Ive had several experiences where I was slightly afraid going to or from my car because of someone acting crazy in the parking lot. Not a great feeling for a woman going into the supermarket either alone or with her kids. But other than that, this is a good Publix.

The employees here are quite frankly subpar with the exception of Wanda and a few others who have had many years in the Publix family. I have had several issues with terrible new hires and the deli and and produce and its just unacceptable period I dont know if its just terrible hiring or terrible training but this is unacceptable for Publix standards and that is coming from a former employee with many years in this company.

Watched Yesenia in the deli take 15 minutes to make an online order while a line of people in front of her wait to be waited on. Didnt get a chance to eat my food because lunch break was over by the time I finished checkout. For the first time in publix I felt like the customers were put on the back burner. She was slow and never even bothered to greet us while we waited. Very disappointed.

Always a spot to park and friendliest managers of any Publix I shop. Store Manager even bought my groceries when I left my card at home and said to pay it forward. Always smiling faces and nice employees. The deli department could be faster and a little more friendly but no one is perfect. Thank you Maria and Steve for always taking care of me and my daughter.
