I ordered a barbie cake for my daughters birthday party. When it was cake time, I served everyone and when I was done serving I looked around and everyones plate was left alone. When I said why isnt anyone eating cake? They said the cake taste nasty. I tried the cake myself and the cake was spoiled. I called Sunday and the manager told me to go to the bakery on Monday and that I would be returned my money or another cake. My husband woke up early before work to go take the cake just for the owner to say the cake was good and it was not spoiled. Which is a lie bc since Saturday night I did not put the cake away, it stayed out since then bc I wasnt going to put away an already spoiled cake. I know things happen so I wasnt all that upset about the cake being spoiled but the owner refused to give me credit or money back. She said we can argue all day but your not getting anything back. She was really rude and insisted the cake was good and fresh and even ate a piece . I told her you are lying that cake has been out since Saturday night...how is it going to be fresh still? But just so she wouldnt give us our money back or even Credit. The cake smelled and taste like caca. Nasty! NEVER AGAIN AND WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW THIS!!! At the party I was recommending them bcuz of their good deal but its not worth it!!

I ordered a cake for my sons birthday party and when we went to pick up the cake they instructed the cake was almost ready and we waited. When it came out, the cake was fresh (which is a plus) but for the type of cake it was, a two tiered cake with heavy icing, it needed to be cooled in order for it not to fall apart. The cake never made it to my sons party. it fell apart without having any accidents. It was a disaster to say the least. I had to tell my son that a "monster" walked over the cake and ran off. My sons birthday was a MONSTER UNIVERSITY movie theme. The top tier of the cake came off. the bottom half, Sullys face, melted right off. Yes the cake was fresh, but in order to make it to an outdoors birthday party, it needed to be refrigerated for a bit before releasing it to us. I then proceeded to call and explain the case and they stated they took pictures of it before it left and it was perfect when it left… I am so disappointed they didnt even offer any solutions. To conclude, my sons birthday party we blew a candle on the repaired (by me) top tier which looked horrible. the bottom half wasnt even edible completely crumbled. So sorry for my son, he didnt even get to see the cake at all… How sad! Will never buy anything from there again.

I have been to countless Cuban and latino bakeries in Miami, in Tampa, and elsewhere. This is BY FAR the best Cuban bakery in Tampa, the most authentic, the most flavorful, and the most reasonably-priced! Its literally a WIN, WIN, WIN! ✔️✔️✔️ If youre in Tampa and want to treat yourself to some scrumptious Cuban delicacies, go to Florida Bakery! Personal favorites: croquetas de jamón (ham croquettes) and pastelitos de queso (cheese pastries). Oh, yeah, how could I forget: THE CUBAN SANDWICHES! The BEST and MOST AUTHENTIC in Tampa! Trust me, Im Cuban. The Cuban sandwich and the medianoche (a slightly different type of Cuban sandwich with sweet bread) are at the top of my list! I cant rave enough about Florida Bakery! GO NOW!

Ok Im Hispanic myself but speak limited Spanish. I called to get a quote for a baby shower cake and a wedding cake. I spoke to I guess, the only person who speaks English. Sent an email for a quote never received anything back, so when I called again the lady was very rude. How do you own a commercial business but dont have anyone who speak English. It makes no sense what so ever as I am a business owner myself. I was truly offended and now I dont think I will go with them to make my cakes for both events needed them for. They need to work on there customer service. And next time they are rude like that I will contact the proper departments to file a formal complaint

This is a full service bakery on Columbus Avenue, which caters to the tastes of the Hispanic community. It is a special place to visit if you like all manner of Latino pastries and other bakery products. My favorite are the "Cubanitos", sliced Cuban sandwiches held together with frilly toothpicks. A tray of those go a long way at an office party! Most staff are at least partially bi-lingual, so shopping there is a wonderful cross- cultural experience. Enjoy!

I ordered a coffee, toast, and several pastries. Food was about 3.5 stars but service was 2 stars at best. The food wasnt bad but nothing to go back to. I have had much better pastries than those. The coffee and toast were average. The lady that took my order never once made eye contact, she was constantly looking behind me out the window. Kept on asking me the same questions because she wasnt paying attention. Very annoying.
