I am so sad that the past two times I went there were a bad experience. (I have only been 7 times in total but I kept coming back for the amazing grape salad) It was amazing the first two times I went; fresh grapes, Gorgonzola cheese, fresh mixed greens, mushrooms, sunflower seeds and a lovely raspberry dressing. The third time, when I got take out, I felt cheated because the portion was so much smaller than when I ate in. So I decided to only dine-in for these in the future. My fourth visit was good and so I had my family in for the fifth which was also good. Then something happened and on the sixth visit my salad was not very good, in place of the sweet-tasting red grapes were bitter green ones and the lettuce did not taste very good either. I asked about the change in grapes before leaving and was told by the man that made my salad that he was trying to clear out old stock so I told myself this was just bad luck. I was back again yesterday hoping for a great salad and sadly it was the worst yet. This time I did ask if red grapes were in stock to avoid the bitter green ones and was told they were, so I hoped that this would be a good experience. I got my salad but I could instantly tell something was off from the smell of spoiled mushrooms (they were oozing). I thought this is not good but I can probably just avoid those and so I picked around them but the salad was bad too most of the cabbage leaves had black slime on the edges and the greens were very wilted except for a spinach leaf here and there. The whole thing had a smell of food gone bad in the refrigerator. I did eat a few grapes that were in there and some of the cheese but decided it would not be healthy for me to even attempt to eat anything else in that salad so I left. I truly hope that this place can invest in fresh food and get more customers in so this does not keep happening because the customers should not have to waste their money and risk their health on spoiled food - it would be better to toss it and just say its out of stock and offer other things that may not be in such bad condition (just my opinion though). I will probably return once more next month to see if things get better but too high risk for me now.

My fiance has Celiac and we are always looking for a good gluten free option. We have our standbys that tend to do us right, but I travel a lot and sometimes its just nice to have an alternative. Neither of us are crazy about pizza, never have been, but we just needed something we could grab and take home. We looked up gluten free and went through the typical explanations and prayers that they would understand our issues AND take it seriously enough to actually consider cross contamination. The employees at Gourmet assured us the owner has a friend with Celiac and there would be no cross contam. They explained that they have gluten free crust, but that they also use rice flour on all the surfaces for the gluten and gluten free dough. We took the pizza home and it was amazing. A little pricey, as gluten free always is, but not too bad comparatively to other gluten free options, and the taste def was top notch. Next time were in Tampa, well be going back (and we dont even like pizza!). Just dont get the pizza with the white sauce. A little weird - personal taste I suppose. Gourmet was def a great find. Manager advised they are the only gluten free certified kitchen in the area and noone has ever called to say they were sick. The proof was in the food. Celiacs go get some pizza!

Terrible customer service. I have ordered from this establishment before with positive results, but they have gone down hill fast. I like the breadsticks but ask that they put them in a pizza box rather than styrofoam so they dont stick together. The last 4 times they have failed to do this. On my last occasion I picked up my order and the guy said that my wife never told him to put them in a pizza box, which I found odd. When I got home to open the box, both the bread and the pizza were burned very badly. We called immediately and they brought us new bread and pizza but the guy on the phone was very rude. This was the same guy that accused my wife of being a liar. He also just made excuses and reluctanly sent us new food. When the new food arrived the pizza was not even what we ordered. We sent it back. I told the guy who delivered that I expected a refund. That never happened and when I called back the original rude guy (I think his name is Mark) was completely defensive and would not issue the refund. I never got to speak with Christina the manager who I believe I heard in the background saying she didnt have time to deal with it. I will never be back and will make sure to tell everyone I know about the rude poor service.

There are 2 one star reviews on here because they wouldnt deliver? If they wont make me a cheeseburger when I REALLY want one they better watch out! People never cease to amaze me with their entitlement. So, they make good pizza. I live like 200 feet away so I just walk. And unlike many of the people slapping 1 and 2 star ratings I have eaten here a lot. Just look at my belly for confirmation. They are tolerant of my 4 brats when I dine in. The dine-in area is fairly small and the decor is utilitarian. It seems to be 90% take out and delivery business. They can be inconsistent at times on their pies (amounts of cheese and toppings can vary and "done-ness" of the pie isnt always dialed in perfectly) , but for a "stoner" staff they do a pretty bang up job. The pizza is never bad. Their worst effort is above average and their best effort is a delightful "Mmmmmm," inducing experince. They clearly use a higher grade of cheese and toppings and they charge accordingly. It is worth the extra coin and the nitwits who act like delivery area cutoffs are some form of geographic racism are seriously missing out.

Im very disappointed with the experience had at Gourmet Pizza last weekend, and we will never give them another penny of our business. We called in the order, and showed up to pick it up, and it was no where to be found. They then put the order in, and we were told it would be 45 minutes. After asking for them to bump the order up since they lost it in the first place, they started to get a bit snippy. While he was waiting for the pizza, my husband asked them to grab him a beer for the inconvenience, which they did. They then asked him to pay, and my husband requested they comp his beer for the inconvenience. This is where things started to get very nasty. They gave him his pizza, and actually started to yell at him to get out of the restaurant. They were extremely verbally abusive, using awful language and being unbelievably rude. I still cant believe the way he was treated. We will never, ever return to this restaurant. Im just glad my kids were not there to see the awful way those men treated a paying customer.
