used to come here often until the changed the prices and visual menu inside. Most people dont realize how fast popeyed is growing these days. My problem is how high priced they have become considering there service is usually not that amazing. occasionally you will come in during a shift and be well treated with great smiles but you cant always count on this. The fried chicken is some of the best. The chicken tenders are lacking though. Its the opposite of KFC to me. The shrimp po boy is usually really good as long as they dont mess up the awesome French bread. mash potatoes, coleslaw, and delicious French fries are awesome. If you like seasoned fries you will love these. I love the thick crispy bone in chicken.

Traveling from Georgia July 5th, stopped to see my son who goes to college in Tallahassee. We decided to go here and get chicken, thanks to my husband. I wanted to try Bojangles, but anyway we go here and order our food. My food was mediocre at best. My son got chicken tenders and he let me try one and they were gross. First of all the color was off, they looked frost bitten. They were hard, salty but otherwise tasteless. We spent $30 which was a waste of money. I will always bypass this place when Im in town.

Food was fine. But service was so bad. The cashier walked away while taking our order. No eye contact was made. We sat down to wait since we were eating in. There was a manager in the lobby, eating. Her cellphone kept ringing and she wasnt answering it or muting it. Then the store phone starts ringing and she yells to the crew in the back not to answer it. It rings 3 more times before we left with her still yelling not to answer across the restaurant. Worst ever!!! Luckily Im not from the area.

I usually have a good enough experience when I go to this Popeyes location. Its a busy spot, being so close to campus and downtown Tallahassee. Because of its popularity, there are times that the wait is a bit long. Also, the store can be a mess especially during that 4:30-7:30 PM dinner rush. On a positive note, they have managed to cut down on the solicitation from transients.

Very slow service drive Thur operator very rude took 15 min to get a 2pice dinner I feel like I should HV got something for my wait an the person who served me didnt even say sorry for your wait an I saw other workers just standing around talking an laughing that store will never get my business no more

Once I finally got the chicken, it was good. Had to wait 20 minutes (was told it would be 10) and then when I got home, there was only 9 pieces (paid for 10) and the gravy was not on the side as I requested. before this, Ive had a good experiences!

Love, love, love their fried chicken. The red beans and rice are delicious, as is their biscuits and sweet tea. Whenever Im in the mood for chicken...I go to Popeyes. The staff members are also very nice and they have never messed up my order.
