There is not one redeeming quality about this restaurant. The waitress couldnt figure out our very simple order. She brought the wrong item, but we decided to go with it and not make a big deal about it. Even then, she brought the enchiladas suizas... but with no cheese on top (as you might know, the "suizas" comes from the name of the cheese on top!). When we inquired, she told us that the cheese they had was vegan and it wouldnt taste good. WHAT? Where in the menu did it say anything about vegan anything? The enchiladas have chicken in them! We looked at her quizzically and she just said "thats just not how me do it here". No alternatives, no apologies. No suizo on our suizas. Fine, then we notice that the upcharge to change anything on the menu to steak is charged PER ITEM.. so when your menu says there is an upcharge of $4.50, that means per enchilada or per taco on your plate- even if the order comes with 3 tacos or enchiladas! Finally, as a topper, she added the tip onto our bill automatically.. I am really sorry, but if not illegal, it is unethical to add an automatic tip to a bill for 2 people. There is no AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD anywhere at Mexico Bravo! Stay clear of this place.

First you must understand being originally from Texas we know fantastic Mexican food, so we have a bit of a bias. Regardless, the pricing was ridiculous for the food that was served. The chimichanga had nothing but tons of meat inside and very very little sauce, it was essentially a meat burrito. My veggie fajitas (which lacked any notable fajita seasoning besides garlic) came with "tortillas" that were really just a very large tortilla wrap cut into quarters. The chips were also stale. I ordered a margarita-- they use nothing but sour and tequila, no limes in sight (and when I asked the waitress if the drink could be made with just tequila, limes, and tonic water she said "we dont make them that way" and "we dont use limes"). The average item price on the menu was $20-- everything is terribly over priced. I imagine they have difficulty maintaining a substantial margin of customer retention, especially customers who are not Kosher inclined. (Ps- We went on a Monday night and they had "live music"… which means a man singing terrible Beatles covers through an auto-tuned mic.)

Recently ate here for lunch and it was dead inside, that should have been the first clue this place was not the best. Ordered the usual burritos tacos etc. Meet was tasteless and burritos were soggy. I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. Totally not worth the prices they are asking. I would be willing to pay those prices for a product that commands those prices, but it did not. Honestly Taco Bell has better food than this place and is priced 50% less. I like how the owner / manager insults his customers for their bad reviews. Instead of taking the feedback as constructive criticism and changing his restaurant. If 20+ people say your food is overpriced and sub-standard, you might want to look into changing a few things. Oh yeah, I also looked up their health code violations in Miami - Dade county and they have had 108 violations in the past 2 years. Along with a $450 fine for non-compliance of a major violation.

I had time to kill before a meeting and since I love mexican I thought Id check the place out. Well, I sat at the bar and it took almost 15 minutes before someone even acknowledged my existence. I literally was about to walk out the door when I was finally asked if I wanted to order anything... So instead of leaving I decided to stay since I was losing time before my meeting was to start. I was a little disappointed with the chips being stale, but figured no big deal since I was really there for the food not the chips. I ordered the chimichanga with shredded chicken, and was delivered the veggie chimichanga. Even though this is not what I ordered it still tasted OK and thats the only reason Ive given this review 2 stars. I think its safe to say that I would not give them another chance.

HORRIBLE FOOD AND RIDICULOUS PRICES! please spare your tummy and dont eat here. Waiter was polite and patient and professional. Our orders were messed up the biggest one bejng the kids order of soft tacos. It was DRENCHED, SATURATED in oil that it just fell apart. First it was wrong, then it came back with no meat, and then they just slopped the oil soaked burnt ground beef on top. Kids did not eat. When asked to speak with manager he was no where to be found. Then only argued with me and stood by his "top of the line" food. He stands by his horrendous food and throws his employee under the bus and continues to tell me, the customer, about how I am wrong. Didnt care about the negative review or the angry party of 10. Horrible manager and rude. Dont bother.

Went to this place on a Wednesday night. We sat at at a table for 4. There were 2 of us. We were asked to move to a table for 2 since they had 13 people coming in. ( We should have left then. The 13 people never showed up.) We ordered beers and were served chips and salsa promptly but was never offered more. We ordered an appetizer at 7:40pm and we got it at 8:10pm. It was a pathetic display of a sampler platter for $14. Four 1 inch long flautas and 4 halves of tostadas with beans smeared on them and one 1 inch square piece of chicken on each. The food tasted good but WAY overpriced. We asked for the bill and it had a gratuity added to it of 15%. We refused to pay that part since the service was so lousy. Dont waste your time folks.

VERY HORRIBLE. Went in for dinner to this Mexico Bravo restaurant and it was despicable. Dirty, food was plain, SLOW SLOW SLOW SERVICE. Smoothies were disgusting, rude service, no AC whatsoever, appearance on the servers or whoever they were, were just disgusting. No proper glove wear while making fruit smoothies. This shouldnt even get a star. On top of that the prices are ridiculously high for food that can be done by a toddler. There is a gratuity charge added when only my husband and I went to dine in. That is ILLEGAL. Several people walked out of the restaurant because of the food and crappy service. STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY.

Got some lunch takeout here and the food was not very good. Charged me $2.50 for a can of soda. Ended up leaving paying $15 for 2 soggy burritos and a soda. The place smelled a little funky and there was no one in there and it was 12:15pm when other restaurants were packed with lunch time patrons, this place had no one there. That should have told me there was something wrong with this place. They need to go out of business already so a good restaurant can move in. Great location, horrible everything else. Plus my friend said the health department has shut them down multiple times for mice and roach infestations. Gross....

They add the tip automatically. The food and portions are good, the staff very nice and helpful, but when we got our check it was $47, since our waitress was really nice we decided to be nice and leave her $10, but right as we were walking out I noticed the bill was actually $42 and she had already given herself $5. I thought a $15 tip was a bit much for a $42 check. We asked if we could correct the tip and they got really upset, the manager came out made a huge deal about it and then finally gave us our $10 back. We would have left $10, but they were shady so she got $5.
