THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE: You are a LIAR!!! I was there, YOU DID NOT COMP THE WHOLE TAB!!! You comped the nachos that you spilled on my friend, and that is it PERIOD! We only had 1 appetizer, the nachos and they were spilled on my friends lap. You most certainly did not comp 2 drinks. It was not a team effort, the band did more for my friend than any employee or manager at your restaurant. When my friend questioned you about the bill, thinking the server made a mistake in giving him the bill, you caMe over and stood over him with your hands on your hips and yelled at him to pay his bill. He merely pointed out that your total cost of goods sold was less than $20. You then yelled that you have over head to pay for and yelled even louder to for him to pay the bill. You never offered to have his shirt and pants cleaned. He had to throw out the shirt and pants he was wearing because the grease would not come out in the wash. SO, YOU MOST CERTAINLY KNEW HE WAS NOT SATISFIED WHEN HE LEFT, so do not lie and say you did not know he was unhappy when we left. My friend was really nice about the situation, when the band gave him a shirt to wear and you said everything was taken care of he decided to stay and watch the band. Most people would have made a scene, left and contacted an attorney. You could have had a customer for life, but you chose to piss off a customer instead. So you drop a plate of food on my friend, say everything is taken care of, then make him pay the bill and do not offer to clean his clothes and then lie about it in response to this review. YOU ARE AN ASS!!! THIS WAS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW BEFORE THE OWNER RESPONDED. I was there with a friend and they spilled a plate of nachos on his lap!!! He was covered in nachos from his chest down on his pants and also on his shoes. The server was so apologetic and cleaned up what she could. The owner never came to the table until he asked what are they going to do for him after spilling a plate of nachos on him. When the owner came over I heard him say everything was taken care of for tonight. Well, when we were ready to leave they gave him the bill, when he told the server the owner said everything was taken care of she said, no the nachos were free!!! The owner came back and told my friend yeah, we took the nachos off the bill. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Then the owner became rude to my friend and made him pay the bill!!! My friend had to throw away the shirt and pants he was wearing because he could not get the grease stains out. I guess the cheese they use is really cheap greasy cheese. I thought the owner should have covered the bill and offered to pay for either cleaning the clothes or replacing the clothes but he turned out to be a real jerk, no a real ass is more like it.

This is NO Irish Pub. The food was okay, but the beer selection for an Irish Pub is a joke! Only 2 Irish beers!? Not even any other beers from the UK that are worth walking in for. I asked the bartender about it and she explained that Pepin put in the taps and they have to carry Pepins beers for a while, but should eventually switch out a couple later on. I happen to know that Pepin carries a few good beers from the UK, but they are not at this place. Sad really. And if you are opening an Irish Pub and relying on a distributor to put in your tap system, might I suggest going with a company that will give you the best selection for the concept and also steer you away from the same beers that you can get ANYWHERE ELSE in this city, and for a good bit less too. Just another local failure, but so much potential . If you want a real Pub experience, go to Otooles in Brando or Four Green Fields in Tampa. Both have great food and awesome beer selections at good prices and a proper pub atmosphere.

I give it a 5. Staff is friendly. Food is good. Nice place to bring the family. Bartenders are extremely friendly. My parents came and ate here with me they liked the food and the surroundings. Management has good taste in the entertainment they have come in. Now I do not like to put anyones place of business down and I have been too OBriens. I was not impressed at all with their food. Their Reuben sandwich is terrible. The staff is not the most friendly people around. And as for the bartenders did not care for having someones elses booze being put on my card. (Do not giv them your card. Pay as you go. ) I had 2 beers and somehow someone elses shots found their way to my charge card )( I give them about a ( 1 ) and the Patty Wagon and I just was not impressed at all. There bathroom was filthy. I said something to a staff member and she told me sorry, but in a joking way she told me I could always go outside. Really ?.. I give them about a ( 2 )

Horrible service!! Will never be back again and I will be sure to make sure to tell my friends and family that go there the same thing. Hire more staff in my opinion. Seems as if this is a common thing up there. I went once with a friend and received horrible service and decided to go back a month or so later hoping things would change and received the same experience. I also find it unprofessional that the bartenders are taking shots behind the bar and yes I understand its a bar but the customers should be the top priority because they are the paying customers, bartenders taking the shots can wait until off the clock.

I visited 1916 Irish Pub on July 19 as a fact finding mission. My favorite local Irish folk singer, Brendan Nolan, is playing on Saturday at the pub. I wanted to check it out to see if it would be an okay place to bring my friends. The bartender, Jennifer, is a very pleasant young lady who answered all of my questions and even suggested that I make a reservation for Saturday since there will be six ladies in my party. I did not have time to sample the food but I have heard nothing but good things about it. I am looking forward to our visit on Saturday.

This is a weekly stop for me for lunch and a beer. They are still relatively new but do have a good selection of craft beer on tap. Their sandwiches are all excellent as I have tried them all, my favorite being the Quiet Man, which I am while eating it!! They do have live music on certain nights and I heard they do a ladies night on Thursdays where they have raffled off some MK purses. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere!! More of an Irish Pub than Obriens is in Plant City!! Gives us another dining/night out on the town option in the area!

Chris is very friendly and passionate about high quality and customer service. One of the main reasons we keep coming back. I take my wife, kids, family, friends and clients here all the time.
