The POSITIVES: the girl was very nice and very attractive and our order was correct. The towers of beer are a really good deal. It has a pleasant sports bar feel to it. The NEGATIVES: FOOD: My husband hit the nail on the head when he said it reminded him of bowling alley food. Tasteless and carelessly put together. We had potato skins, a nice amount of cheese and a few tiny pieces of bacon bits, no seasoning, no green onions. It even came with a horseradish sauce and still it had no flavor. I had a buffalo chicken wrap, they are supposed to coat the chicken in the wing sauce and then cut it and wrap it up; instead they poured a ladle of wing sauce onto the entire wrap, the first bit I took wing sauce spilled down my face; lazy lazy lazy. I ended up pulling it apart and just eating the chicken with a fork and leaving the rest. Husband ordered a shepard’s pie; this was in no way shape or form a shepard’s pie. It was day old beef stew with a scoop of mashed potatoes on it. BAR: there were three of us, two ordered beers and I ordered a mix drink, it took over ten minutes to get our first round. It was memorial day and they weren’t even busy. There was maybe four people at the bar and ten table in the restaurant. No reason it should have taken that long and it wasn’t the server because I saw her waiting up there for the drinks. MANAGER: let me preface this by saying I worked at this place when it was a bennigans many moons ago. They gutted the place and it doesn’t smell anymore so congrats to them on that. BUT they hired the same manager that was the manager of that bennigans; I couldn’t believe it when I saw her. Why would you hire a person to run your establishment when the establishment you replaced was run into the ground by this person?? I do not get it, and her boyfriend/husband lazy cook was there working as well. He was busy holding up the bar and changing the channels on the TV; some things never change. I would go here or a happy hour drink if someone else wanted to but I would eat at mcdonalds next door first and I hate mcdonalds! But I’ll say this, the girls looked good, so if you’re a guy and could care less about the food, then go, you’ll have to wait for your drinks but just order the tower of beer so you can pour it yourself and it’s pretty reasonably priced

My wife,daughter,2 1/2 year old grandson and myself ate there yesterday. We had never been to any tilted Kilt restaurants before.Everyone treated us very well and went out of their way to talk and play with our grandson. The place is very attractive the walls are full of tvs to watch. My wife ordered fish and chips,my daughter had chicken tenders,i had a chicken philly and my grandson had a grilled cheese sandwich. The fish and chips had two gigantic pieces of fish and my wife and daughter loved it as did my grandson. No greasy taste like most area restaurants have.My daughters chicken tenders were the same,no greasy taste at all and there were five big pieces of chicken. My chicken philly was bigger than all of the other sports bars and area restaurants serve and the chicken was very tender and cooked just right. All of us had fries with our orders and they were also well above the others quality and quantity, fresh cut and seasoned just right. My grandson usually doesnt eat fries at any restaurants we go to,Chilis,Gators Dockside,Wing House etc but he kept eating them until we left. The bill for the three adults at the table was about $13 each with sodas, for the quanity of food we received it was well worth it.We cannot wait to go again. A family at the table next to us ordered salads and nachos. The salad was humungous and the nachos were bigger than that and they were the regular nachos and not the ones with any extras on them. They also raved about the food and the service.

Its not bad, but nothing really stands out about this place. Very run of the mill, and my girlfriend and I couldnt help but notice that the girls were not very attractive and seemed trashy compared to Wing House and Hooters with many unattractive tattoos. My food was very "meh," and was advertised to have avocado, which turned out to be some sort of salsa-esque paste. My girlfriends food order was messed up at the chefs fault and no offer was made to fix the mistake. I was handed an unsweet tea after ordering a sweet tea and didnt mind too much but brought it to the attention of another waitress since we couldnt find ours. It took about 10 minutes to get my sweet tea after that. Ultimately, the only reason I would go back would be that they are one of the few sit-down restaurants on that side of town.

My server was so sweet and amazing. The compliments stop there. She looked so embarrassed by the annoying bartender. She had friends visiting. They were abnoxious, throwing chips, cussing, etc.. We had bikers sitting at the next table that got up and left, commenting on their behavior. Our server could not apologize enough for her insane slowness and their behavior. We ordered just wings and two beers. It took 15 minutes, with 6 customers there to get our beers. I watched our server ask over and over for our drinks while the bartender kept socializing with her friends and ignoring her fellow employees. Our wings were good. A little soggy and slightly fatty but the sauce was awesome and flavorful. They were just a little undercooked.

Fantastic food, great price, clean and pretty good service. Not gonna lie though it was a bit disappointing that our waitress seemed to avoid our table except to take our order, bring our food and deal with the bill while she happily sat and chatter with everyone else. My boyfriend even commented that bringing a girl with him must have scared the waitresses off which sucks since I was there for the girls just as much as he was. I hope the Tilted Kilt in Jacksonville proves to be more open minded with their assumptions about their customers.

Expensive for the portion size. Service not so great, since I was a woman, and they were busy with the table of hot young men. Witnessed another female patron telling her server to "get off" her husband, as the waitress was constantly touching him and rubbing up on him. Nothing I couldnt get somewhere else cheaper. Was basically a beef o bradys meets hooters, but without the good hooters food. Wish I would have researched, just randomly stopped in hoping that since it was an Irish pub, they might have great food.

My wife and I ate there on 08-20-12. We had seen several ads for the Tilted Kilt, and decided to give it a try. When we went up to the front door to go in, there was a young man standing next to the door urinating into the bushes. Well not to be deterred from trying out the food we went on in and ignored the young man. The food was good, but as far as going back that wont happen. More of a bar setting than an eatery. Would not recommend it to anyone!

Never went there before but we were on vacation and hungry.Service was a little slow but the place was packed. The lunch selection was varied and a very good value. And yes the uniform was attractive but not more so than Dogs or Hooters. Hopefully they will be expanding across Fl. My wife and I had lunch(2 sandwiches w/onion rings and 2 beers) for under 18 bucks.
