RACISM AND DEATH THREATS. Went to Ft. Meyers Beach on vacation last week. We entered and bought some pitchers and headed to the outside seating area to sit. One of my friends walked back in to use the restroom, and was immediately verbally harassed by the bartender Cali. She screamed racial slurs at her and tryed to kick my friend out. After my friend politely reminded her that she had, less than 5 minutes ago bought beer with the group outside, She tried to make up for her behavior by giving us free drinks. Her response was a slurred version of my friend was fired, this job sucks....etc. the racial slurrs didnt end there, nearly 30 minutes later. She verbally accosted me with more racial slurs and a death threat. We left( had already paid thank goodness) and called the police. We were told that they get complaints often about that and theres not much they can do. CALI is a racist and seems to be mentally incompetent to serve.

This place is terrible. No napkins. Corndogs and pretzels were the only food they had. Got asked by the owner to not chain a bike to the side of the building. He went out of his way when I was leaving to tell me this. Maybe you should be more concerned with the menu and people inside instead of the tourists who spend 100s on booze daily in this area and not the local drunks drinking Busch and Miller High Life.

Needed to poop real bad and the bar wench was obnoxious. The place look like garbage, the fact that says European Eatery is insulting. I would rather drive an hour to Punta Gorda to go to the Celtic Ray a real Irish Pub. I have seen places like this before they try to only cater to the locals and they will eventually Crash and Burn. Clean up your act and be a little more polite.

We have stopped here a couple times as it is close to where we are staying ...Just beer and wine which is fine for us...Seems like the locals hang here the most but we enjoy talking to the locals..Dont think they have much for food.. our bartender was Kayla, I think, and we enjoyed her quick wit and caring attitude...

Only takes cash - immediate reduction in rating. Also they dont have any real drinks, just beer and wine. Inside is like a wall of cigarette smoke. Not a place for tourists.
