I went in with my brothers and some friends, overall, a party of 8. Food was great, 5 stars easily! I had Shepards Pie and my brothers had tilapia and one of the burgers and we all agreed that we havent had better food in a while. That being said, service was not great. Our waitress paid us very little attention even though there were only few other people in the restaurant most of the time we were there. We had to ask for more drinks several times. Also, we all felt that we werent as welcomed here as other customers because we were a younger crowd. When we walked in there were maybe 20 people in the restaurant and no one was younger than 60 years old. Everyone stared at us the whole time even though we werent loud or inappropriate in any way. Overall, we still had fun. Food was excellent, but service needs some improvement.

A warm environment + staff greet you as you enter Greenisland. Service was excellent and attentive. The shepherds pie is excellent, the beef gravy, and tender roast beef makes the dish. The French Onion soup is the best I ever had with a beefy broth with a deep wine flavor. The other two guests I was with, their dishes I sampled as well, had the beer-battered perch with pierogis (The perch was crisp, and flavorful. The pierogis soft, tender, and the potato filling was rich with a nice onion flavor.) and the Oconner salad with the grilled chicken and roasted red peppers (Decent salad, very varied with the greens, the grilled chicken was tasty.). Its was all moderately priced ($9-$22 per dish), and would highly recommend to anyone in the Cleveland area.

My parents and I have gone to Green Island since its opening (about ten years ago now) and havent stopped! The food is great, the owners are always nice, and the service is fantastic. Favorites are Shepards Pie, Fish and Chips, French Onion Soup, and their newer Portobello Quesadilla is delicious as well!

We have been there four times in the last year and have enjoyed each meal. It has been a real pleasure to take our friends there. They have all been as satisfied as we are. The Irish Nacho Chips are out of this world. We highly recommend them.
