Start with the "positives": The beers were great. I had the Barista Blonde, French Creek Pale Ale, Eagle IPA, and Ohana Wheat. And all of them I thought were wonderful. There is also a pretty good selection of taps from other micro brewerys. My wife and I had a couple burgers, I had the Poppa Popper which I thought was very good, chargrilled on the outside, pink in the middle. Now the negatives. The service failed us miserably. It was a Friday night, and the place was busy, but I wouldnt call it packed. We were told a 45 minute wait for a table of 9, with a couple of kids in tow, we decided to skip the table and get our food to-go and enjoy a few beers while we waited on the patio for our food. Surprisingly there was no service outside... why is beyond me. After putting our food order in we were assured that when it was ready, someone would come out and let us know. After 30 minutes and noting, we went in to check...was told it was almost ready. After 45 minutes we went to check again, almost ready. After an hour, almost ready. After 60 minutes, half of our order was finally done, but they didnt have a record of the second half. So it was another 30 minutes before we got that part of our order, an hour and a half to get a meal...??? Its also worth noting that as we were waiting at the bar for the rest of our order, I saw at least 2 tables walk out talking about how long they were waiting. And overheard the hostess tell the owner that tables were leave. I do want to note that at no time did I think the quality of the service was bad, they bartenders, servers, hostess, and owner were all very friendly to talk to, were apologetic, expressed sympathy, and seemed concerned, but they just didnt have it firing on all cylinders. For the time being, Im going to brush it off as being newly opened and just not having it together. Hopefully they do, because there were a lot of positives about this place and Im looking forward to having a micro brew in town.

The definition of a local treasure. Great again, like it used to be! Avon owned and operated. The new owner has given it what it needed. It is really an awesome environment, with fantastic food, and great drink options! I was there this past Saturday night. I ordered the soft pretzel bites appetizer, which came with a delicious zesty mustard and a creamy beer cheese. It was fantastic! For my entree, I ordered a special on the menu, the Kim-chi Cuban sandwich. It was amazing! I consider myself to be a craft brew connoisseur, so I was really looking forward to seeing what they had on-hand. I had their own brews: the Avon Eagle IPA and their Avon Black Widow Imperial IPA. They were both awesome. Their beer menu was fantastic also! They had multiple "rare-finds". When you are a craft brew fan, you get used to going to establishments and settling for the basic IPA that every place in town has. Not at Avon Brewing Company! I was very satisfied with their beer menu and the wide range they had! I will definitely be returning! You need to check them out!

My friend and I walked in and seated ourselves. Ben, the bartender on duty asked our names, introduced himself and shook our hands. Service 5/5. Had the Gold Dust and the Ohana Wheat. Both good, Gold Dust a little more so. Neither mind blowing, both solid. Guest taps include something for everyone if you dont enjoy their recipes. While they may not have had pre-chilled glasses for beers, Im an adult middle-class American who has experienced real, legitimate problems in my lifetime. My prerogative was to enjoy my beer, not cry in it. Beer 4/5. Ate the buffalo chicken dip and the 8 oz "poppa popper" burger with fries. All extremely good. Food 5/5. We went for lunch. Liked the atmosphere. There were other guests present without over crowding, and Ben capably made us all feel welcomed. I would have liked a different music selection, but I am able to think about patrons over and above myself and Im sure not everyone is a heavy metal fan like me. Overall 5/5.

Great beer, food, and service! The barista blonde house brew is everything youd want it to be- pleasantly and lightly aromatic with just the right amount of coffee flavor to compliment the light beer! Their menu is unique and tasty- burgers, fries, and crispy chicken are not greasy like most places; but the meats dont lack in moisture! Was looking for a little more heat in the green chile burger, but it was good nonetheless. Kids menu is simple with good side options. Lots of beer choices including some cocktails and unique "beertails". Nice atmosphere, clean, lots of seating (including bar), and lots of big screens for sport fanatics! Food came out quickly, and we were well attended to. Will return!

Stopped in for a bite to eat before the Lake Erie Crushers game since it is only 1 1/2 miles away from the entrance and on the same road. Great beer selection and also homemade rootbeer and cream soda..yummy too. We both had items from the Friday Special menu. The Mrs. had a tuna salad wrap with homemade potato chips and I had the Salmon Burger. Both where great. My shoestring fries were just OK. They are hard to keep hot. I think they were frozen fries. I like a thicker cut. I would order the chips next time we stop. Yep, we will stop again if make another Crushers game this year. Friendly staff and an older crowd before 6PM.

Had lunch on 8/31 and you cant eat on the patio, they dont have chilled glasses for bottled beer, they didnt have ice tea and they automatically added 25% tip because we had 6 in our party. 25%!!! The food was fine and the beer was fine but there are too many other places that actually cater to their customers. Wont go back!

A great find...been coming here for years under its various iterations...the most recent, Avon Brewing Company, is one that will stay. Great Beer. Great Food. The best people...highly recommended. When youre looking for a great local place, think ABC!!!

Weve been twice now and its fun atmosphere with good food and great beer. Very friendly service. Half the profits from their special of the month is donated to a rotating charity., but I ordered it just because it was delicious.

Nice atmosphere, good service. I had the Strip Steak, which was cooked to a perfect Medium Rare. So tender with incredible flavor. Not really a beer drinker, so we tried their exclusive cocktails and was very surprised.

Hit or miss.. Good service at the bar but not so much at the table. Took a while to be greeted put in orders and get drinks. Also had to walk up to server to pay. Food was okay but a little cold. Nice environment though

Great beer selection, good food selection. The totchos were a bit bland but the beer was good so it all evens out. Prices werent too bad. 10 bucks for a 5 beer sampler
