Its not as good as it used to be. In short, the wings are small, the pork is microwaved, and the side portions are maybe a tablespoon at best. They also did something with their bbq recipe, now its about the equivalent of cheap kraft bbq sauce. Back when I first started going to Lee Roys in 2004, the food was to die for. I lived in Citrus county and drove an hour just to eat at Lee Roys. The wings were big, and they always had that fresh grilled, slightly blackened taste. The full rack of ribs were so big it would hang over the side of your platter. Now everything is extremely downsized, and the taste is just non-existent. My last experience with their ribs was not good at all. They were actually grey in color, and the kraft bbq sauce was just caked on there. Even their famous cheese grits have begun to degrade. I am not sure if it is management issues trickling down to their staff, or if their original chefs who knew how to make excellent food left. It is a shame because I use to crave lee roys, and every person I took there fell in love with the place as well. I honestly dont think I will be going back again. Really sucks to say that.

Dont be fooled by the fake reviews from their employees. Ive been there twice so far. The first time I went there, I asked for three types of common beers that they had advertisements for around the bar area and they were out of all of them. Then the wings were so small and over cooked it was like eating pigeon wings. I complained so they gave me two coupons. Then I went back w/ the coupons and had an even worse visit. This time the service was horrible and the burger was even worse. Who screws up a hamburger? When my hamburger made its second trip to my table it had a bun that was soggy, soaked in blood. My waitress apparently preferred that my glass was empty and she seemed to be a little on the stupid side. Oh my god the bill was huge. To top it off the waitress didnt accept my two coupons from the first visit. I didnt even bother to ask for a manager this time. Thats when I decided that an online warning to the rest of the world would be more appropriate.

Went on Sunday for the first time to watch game and I usually give places 2-3 tries but this is one place I will NEVER go back to. We ordered wings and a cheese steak. The wings were still RAW when they came to the table, we sent them back and got a new cooked order and you can tell they were frozen and not fresh. The cheese steak was like a steakums that is bought from the grocery store. It was all just disgusting. The place is huge and beautiful and youd expect it to be packed and it wasnt and the poor food quality is probably the reason why. Not once did a manager come to talk to us, nothing was comped, just over all bad service. This place will be closed in 6 months.

Just left the place. Food was horrible!! At least the waitress was nice enough to take off my dinner item. Ordered boneless chicken wings and Im pretty sure I could have shattered a window if I threw one. They were hard, dry and so very SALTY!! Forced two down with the help of a delicious pickle and a few sliced jalapenos. (that was the only decent part of the meal, the garnish) We also ordered a burger. Flavorless and underdone. Fries were far from fresh. Again, dry and looked microwaved. I wish I could have told others in the place to dine elsewhere. The quality of food is just terrible. Go somewhere where you can count on a nice meal.

The quality of food and service used to be decent here. My last two visits in February 2016 were extremely subpar. One server was one of the worst Ive ever had, a guy next to the high top section. He only returned to the table twice, leaving drinks empty and no condiments served. Another server spilled a drink on a customer at our table and didnt clean it up. Food was brought out incorrectly cooked/prepared, and some of it was poorly prepared and not that great. The review still has 2 stars due to past experiences and good apps. Hopefully they get their stuff together. Final verdict: never coming back again.

Its a hit or miss type situation. One time we came the nachos look like they were sitting on top of a refrigerator with dust on them they were so cold and the cheese was hard. It didnt look appetizing at all we complained to the manager about it. Never say never we said that we wouldnt come back again because we were frequenting on a routine basis trying to give them another opportunity to take us to glory. The menus are always dirty and sticky and the table are not that clean. The gumbo was great and the nachos were good this time.

Servers are awesome . Managers and cook staff are useless . My wife loves the fish and chips that are great but everything else is subpar to garbage . Do yourself a favor and DRIVE BY AND FIND A REAL RESTAURANT! They need a whole new staff of cooks its either ice cold or burnt . I have worked in restaurant my entire life and every once in a while you have a miscooked order but here its every time unless its fish and chips . Disgraceful.

Was looking forward to a great birthday lunch...We waited almost an hour for our food when it wasnt even busy by any means. When food arrived it was barley warm. My pork rice bowl was terrible. Thought maybe dessert would help..Nope the bread pudding was flavorless. Our waitress was definitely more concerned with the larger table she had then she was with us. We will not return to this location thats for sure.

I was on a date with my beautiful girlfriend. Like Im talking hot. Smokin. Anyway I digress, I ordered a bison burger with french fries. We then waited 45 minutes for our food to come out to us. It was good I was enjoying it and munching on French fries until I felt something different in my mouth. It was a long blonde hair that was wrapped in my french fry. Our waitress did not have blonde hair. Disgusting.

We frequent this location from our corporate office, call it our satellite lunch room if you will. Daily specials are always a fan favorite, but I particularly love the Black Bean burger on a Gluten Free Bun!!! So yummy. The staff is always friendly, and the service is fast at lunch if you get there early. They are able to accommodate large groups and they do offer separate checks!

They prepared 2 big tables for a party of 15,napkins on the floor,hasnt cleaned up after the previous guests. Then the waitress insisted on making one check per table regardless on how many families on it as its the managers recommendation,Unbelievable . She is lucky she had a training girl and thats the only reason I left tips.Food is tasty ,but rude waitress.

We have a monthly gathering here and the manager and Seevers take great care of us. They accomodate our large group and give us special treatment too. They have amazing nachos and wings and healthier options too. Anyone can find something great to fit there needs. They have Tons of TVs and outdoor seating if you want. We love going here.
