I arrived with my party an hour and a half before closing time on a Monday night. We were told that the kitchen was half closed and we would only have a partial menu (we were the only people in the restaurant.) After a little talking we were given the full menu (why not it was Monday during business hours?) One of our orders came out incorrectly, the other was extremely bland fajitas, and the last order was the greasiest steak and ale pie I have ever had. About 45 minutes till closing the bar tender shut down the music and turned on all of the lights to try and hurry us out of the restaurant. at about 10 minutes till closing the bar tender actually flashed the lights to hurry us out even more. After we payed they actually turned the lights off so that we had to walk out in the dark (still before closing hours on the sign). They then said, "please come again." Not a chance. Would highly recomend any restaurant over this place including the Applebees across the street where at least they will keep the lights on for your walk to the door.

Although our server was very nice the food was disgusting. I ordered a pasty and it came out lukewarm at best with foil stuck to the bottom which I was fortunate to notice before putting in my mouth. It tasted old. I ate about a 1/4 of it and just didnt want any more. A staff member (manager I believe) was clearing the table and asked if I wanted a box, I said no thank you. She asked if it was cold so they have obviously had this issue before (did not comp) and I explained why I didnt eat. My bf ordered the shepherds pie and it had cold and hot spots (nuked). The worse part is when I got home as it made me ill. I heard good things about this place. Maybe they changed hands.

First visit: Bartender couldnt even pour a black and tan. The serving size on the cottage pie was pretty small and not that good. Second visit: Just got finished eating the driest, most overcooked burger of my life. Asked for medium, got hockey puck. Hand-cut fries were limp, soggy and under-cooked. Manager asked how it was. I told her "it was alright." She took my basket and walked away. I would hope there would a be a little concern after a comment like that but nope. Not going back.

Tucked away in a little corner strip mall, this Irish Pub type bar/grille turned out to be a little slice of heaven. The food was to die for, simple as it was. Potato chips made on site, crispy seasoned fries, steak cooked to perfection in the steak and blue wrap and Stephanie (our server) was busting her behind to keep up... yet she remained pleasant, fun and upbeat. We will be back for Karaoke Tuesday or possibly to watch an event on one of their many TVs.

We just discovered this neat pub, enjoyed the bartenders, but then the management dropped the ball. They allow young children to sit at the bar, next to people shooting hard liquor, and they allow creepy old men to bring in puppies so young they can barely walk, in a bar with a DJ playing so loud you cant hear the person next to you talk. Treat your bar like a bar and have some standards. We wont be returning to a place that encourages animal cruelty.

Went to clearwater for a trip out of town and wanted something close to home. The Grind House did it for me. Went back 8 more times and tried something else each time. The food is true british food and the owner was so welcoming to me and my friends. Made us feel great every time we went back for more. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a huge variety of beer and great food and the prices fit my budget.

Grind House has always been one of my FAVORITE places to go. Every night some times, every weekend. Great family based (maybe not family fun) atmosphere with GREAT beer selections. I have the black and blue burger every time. It makes me hard it my pants just to think of the melted blue cheese dripping down the side of that still bloody burger. Keep it up guys@

I have been going to the Grindhouse since it opened, and will be a forever customer. The food is fantastic and considering my hubby is from Liverpool and picky about his British food that says alot. Great drink prices and specials. Everyone there is friendly and service is always great. My favorite place to go on the weekends.

The food is really good and inexpensive, atmosphere is nice, and most of the regulars are easy to talk to. My only complaint, which is minor, is that Id like to see them open til 3 on Fridays and Saturdays. Closing hours tend to fluctuate based on customer flow, understandable but hard to plan your evening around.

Loved it. Nice little establishmemt. Great food and friendly staff. There is a little electronic dart game in the back and a bowling game, we stayed till close playing. Reasonably priced as well. My brother is vegan , so we were so excited to see there were some delicious vegan options for him! *Go for the Curry*

Awesome food and atmosphere. However, the bartender was serving all tables and the bar by herself on a Saturday at lunch. They should really have a server on the floor. Expecting one person to handle everyone in the restaurant is ridiculous. The bartender did do a great job regardless. We will be coming back.

I wanted to like this place. Took my family here for lunch. The food was so bad. Not authentic.......tasted horrible. It was so bad it was uneatable. Were very easy to please but Grinders food fell short on every level. I imagine the beers good. The food isnt. Very, very disappointed.

The food, service and atmosphere here is awesome. We had the fish and chips and it was outstanding. Was very tempted by their desserts too (great choices) but will have that when I have more time. Looks like a great after work hang out too. Definitley try it, you WONT be disappointed.

Very cool atmosphere, love the British decor. Food was great, I got a bacon burger, the burger was tender and moist, cooked exactly medium well, and the cook knows how to cook some bacon! My girlfriend got some fajitas, and they were pretty great as well. Overall good experience.

I own & operate my own restaraunt so I am EXTREMELY critical of food when I eat out. This place has great tasting food, service is usually always great. Wings & burgers are the best around (other than mine). Their Cuban was the BEST ever, but I understand they dont serve it now :(

The atmosphere was really nice but we got there too late to eat. So I cant comment on the food but they have a good selection of beers and liquor. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we had a drink and a beer and the bill was $12.00, I dont think it was that special

Its a very cozy type place. Heard about it from a family member. We decided to come for the fish and chips. Very good. Excellent service. Food is great. Also other items on the menu very unreasonably priced. Definitely will come back and tell our friends.
