Horrible experience. We had 1 hour for lunch from our class. The restaurant was less than half full. Our Unqualified waitress (Tia) finally took our drink order after sitting there for 15 minutes and we politely told her that we had a tight schedule so we gave her our complete order. 30 minutes later the Incompetent manager came to the table and said it would 5 or 10 more minutes for our food. He did not offer to make it to go or say he would expedite the order. We explained that we only had 10 minutes left to eat and get back. He apologizes but does not offer any options. We had to leave without eating. 50 minute wasted and had to leave hungry. The waitress was overly social with the table behind us and did not communicate any delays. The manager did nothing to resolve the issue or offer solutions. Our small group is angry and disgusted at how we were treated. We will not be back and have to problem informing others of our very bad experience here. Dont waste your time here unless you have a couple of hours to waste waiting on poor service.

UPDATE: Just got word, the "waiter from Hell" got fired! It turns out we werent the only ones to complain about him that night. Im boosting this review from 2 stars to 4. I like this place. We go there often after Sea World. But last night we had the waiter from Hell! When I told him the water tasted terrible, he did nothing about my comment. Then he tried to say one of the glasses contained "lemonade," but none of the five glasses looked like lemonade or tasted like it. Two of our party ordered bacon burgers on rye, but he brought them on buns. They sent them back. When he returned with the sandwiches on rye, he managed to dredge a slice of bacon across the table top as he handed the plate to the woman who had complained. And it went down hill from there. If we walk in and see that waiter still there the next time, we wont stay.

The food was great but the service was poor. Back to the food, it was hot and delicious. You could tell it was prepared in the house or at least was cooked well and handled with care. Though the staff was extremely friendly, our server did not check on us for about 20 minutes. I finally had to ask another server for water and I still wasnt helped. At last I asked the manager and she brought out a glass in about a minute. It was busy, so I dont know if that is why it took so long. But, I didnt see the server helping anyone else out. We were asked if we wanted dessert but chose not to because we were afraid it would be a 20-30 minute wait.

When we first arrived at our hotel, Doubletree which was across the road, we arrived late in the evening and we didnt want to travel far from the hotel to eat; we spotted the Village Inn from across the street and decided to go in. From the outside you may think this restaurant doesnt have much to offer, but inside its cozy, the menu is good and the staff were friendly; we also arrived on a Wednesday, which was free pie day!!! My wife and I have probably eaten there around 8 times in 2 weeks and have enjoyed our food every time. Would recommend to everyone passing by!

We waited 1 hr literally and still no food!! A party of 8 and another party of 4 both of which we ordered long before them got their food before us and the waiter kept walking by really fast and turning away maybe he didnt turn our ticket in I dont know!! We were warned it would be 30 minutes before the food came out, but an hr?? They were not that busy and we left with only drinking water and no refills within an hour!! Very frustrating but when everyone else got their good first and it was just 2 of us umm no thanks!!

Waitress was lovely, funny and kind... food fair, MANAGEMENT SUCKED... Lazy, loud, drank coffee in middle of restaurant THREE PEOPLE SITTING IN MIDDLE OF RESTAURANT DRINKING COFFEE! Sweaty employee laying on table filling out paper work, store manager ( assuming wearing orange shirt) talking numbers And in appropriately about other stores in dinning area! And he wonders why they moved him to a slow store! I found the whole dynamic of workers sitting and having coffee in the middle of the dinning floor ridiculous!

Hidden gem here in Orlando. The staff here provides superior service! Always ask for Tia to serve you! She is so friendly and is on top of the refills for drinks! Since Village Inn was on the list for free meals on Veterans Day 2016, I chose to dine here for breakfast! I got the VIB breakfasthe. I chose for my 4 options: 2 egg cheese omelet with mixed blend, sausage patty, cottage cheese, and a strawberry crepe. Wow! Plus you have to pay for a drink which I got was a Arnold Palmer.

Great place with really good service. Food is reasonably priced and is pretty tasty as well. A little away from the hotel I was staying at but well worth the walk. The best part was the awesome pie selection they had. I has this triple danger caramel deluxe something or another but it was delicious. I recommend for anyone in the area eating on a budget but not looking to trade off quality.

While not everything on the menu is to my taste The food and service here was top notch. Their milkshakes are gorgeous, as is their french toast, skillets, burgers and pies. Make sure youre friendly with the wait staff and leave a nice tip if you plan on returning more than once. Theyll go out of their way to make you feel welcome if youre a good customer.

Looks like any other chain restaurant so my expectations were low. I went several times and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food was very good and the price was less than I typically see (I only went for breakfast). Felt like a family owned restaurant. Highly recommend for a solid, reasonably priced meal in a friendly surrounding.

Would give 5 stars but the service was a bit slow. Took a while to seat us BC hostess wasnt at the front, I stead was serving tables. Our food took a bit to get to us as well. But giving them the benefit of the doubt, they were probably short handed that day. Overall our waiter was good and communicated with us, which made the waiting seem not so bad.

The food was good, the same quality of most Village Inns. However, even though there were only three tables of customers, the single Waiter on duty was inattentive and virtually absent throughout the entire meal. There was a considerable wait for the kitchen to service 3 tables of guests. And glasses went unfilled throughout most of the meal.

Great family friendly food and decor. Super staff. We stayed across at Doubletree but ate here almost every night and morning. Open late for arrival back from parks. Hearty diner food but many healthy options. Oh yeah, try some pie, worth the calories. Excellent coffee. Try the waffles and crepes. Whole menu served all day long.

Waited to be seated. Decided to take a look at the log book and realized that my name was scratch off the list. I was sitting right next to the log book, never heard my name called. After being seated I was told that breakfast would be ready in minutes. Server came back 10 minutes later saying breakfast will be ready in 10 to 15 minutes.
