I went here primarily on the strength of the 4.5 Google ratings. The pizza was at best average New York crust. Thin with a propensity to become soggy quickly. I asked for the wings "dry and well done" and if anything they were extra "wet" with extra sauce on the top and were very average in size certainly not the "jumbo" described on the menu. The Calzone was very large, but the inside was about 80% dry Ricotta cheese, while I generally like this cheese in a Calzone to have it constitute virtually all of the cheese doesnt make for a tasty dish. We did not try the pasta or garlic knots so I have no opinion on these. I liked the interior covered in scenes of New York city and found the service to be good. My wife tried the gluten free pizza and didnt care for the crust (then again most gluten free has taste issues save for a small place in Mount Dora we tried several years ago). Honestly, the deli pizza at the Whole Foods store is radically better than here although since we only ate there once it is possible that our results do not reflect their standard quality levels. Normally, I like to eat at a place at least three times before writing a review, but in this case my son and wife put this place on the Jacobs instant "banned list" so I know I wont have the opportunity for further experiences.

Love this place! Closest thing to NY pizza as it gets! My family and I order here on a regular basis everything always comes out just as expected (delicious). I had ordered a penne aka vodka today with some other items for pickup, when I got home I noticed it was not cream sauce but tomato sauce on the pasta, I called and spoke to Mary and she immediately had a driver deliver me the correct order with a free Italian ice as well!!! I give this place 5 starts because they always make us happy and they go above and beyond for their customers!!! :) :)

This is an edit to a previous review. We were coming here almost once a week and my experience has really flip flopped. They never ever acknowledged or recognized that we came in so many times. The attitude of the owners (assuming its the owners...the older couple) seem like they hate each other and are put out by customers. The kitchen isnt willing to make changes to the menu either. We are so disappointed as it felt....at first...like it was going to be our "local spot" in Dr. Phillips. Oh well, on to find another place to spend our money!

This is a great family owned hole in the wall. The pizza is delicious and their pasta is very good. You can tell it is homemade with some family secrets helping with the great flavor. The baked ziti was some of the best we have ever had anywhere. We always come here for our local pizza place and love the friendly service. It is pretty small inside but usually not busy so we have never waited. A lot of business comes in for take out so tables are always open when we come. Absolutely highly recommend.

Horrible Disgusting FOOD!! I order pizza greasy salty , I order garlic butter wings the most nasty I ever tried they taste like butter and not well cooked . I also order chicken finger and fries no dipping sauce for chicken fingers no salt pepper or ketchup was given . I called Manager 7/14 to complain and he just repeated what I said to him and said ok I cant help you . He was rude and did not ask to replace my food or money .. Horrible experience and still Hungry..

Ive been coming for years and never had an issue, but my most recent experience they nickle and dimed everything. They serve knots without sauce, 2 dollars extra for sauce. My salad dressing cost more, there was no mention of that either. At no point did anyone show up once my food was served, though they were quick to drop the bill off. The chicken parm left a lot to be desired. I am hoping it was a one time thing, but I doubt it will.

My pizza looked nothing like the photos here... didnt have 1/4 of the toppings shown in the photos. The wings werent bad....but didnt make up for the pizza... which also was cold. Shorted a can of pop... got two cans on a 3 can special. Nothing like paying premium dollar to eat cold pizza with nothing to drink... Order from somewhere else.

It was alright. Honestly, I wasnt expecting a lot. The crust was nicely crisp on the bottom. I ordered their signature pie, the New Yorker, and it was bland. It is a family owned/operated restaurant which gives it a bit of charm but the place has the feel of an average dinner rather than a unique pizzeria.

What can i say? Im a New Yorker living in Orlando for 2 years now, and by far this is the best pizza in town! Hands down! Reminds me of home... lets just say I cant wait to try the rest of their menu :) ohhh and lady in the counter (didnt get her name) she was really nice.

Good leaves much to be desired. Chicken parm was like eating rubber..it actually bounced my jaw back up lmao. Marguerita pizza tomatoes were too juice and tomato all over. Gluten free pizza was terrible too. They get two stars because the garlic knots were edible.

Highly suggest finding a different place. I ordered delivery and they are rude over the phone. The driver was not friendly. The food is just okay, and the portions are really small. Only thing positive is they were on time.

I couldnt taste the sauce, there was like 1 banana pepper per slice. 2 olives per piece also, I should get at least 1 veggie every bite I take. A frozen pizza would make a better meal.
