I am visiting Orlando from Portland, Oregon, and after asking the employees where I am staying about a good Italian restaurant, many recommended Del-Dio. They were not wrong at all! I ordered the Sicilian style pizza, and ordered it with pepperoni, ham, and half the amount of cheese (I dont like cheese). The Sicilian style has a thick crust, which I love over a thin crust. The staff were very nice, and explained it would take a little longer with the thicker crust. I had no problem with that, and appreciate their honesty. When it was brought to my table my eyes almost fell out of my head it was so much bigger than I thought! The crust was perfect--crispy on the outside and tender--not soggy on the inside. It was covered to all sides with both pepperoni and ham! And for me there was the perfect amount of red marinara sauce. The amount of cheese was perfect. There was no way I could eat all of it in one sitting, and to be honest leftover pizza straight from the fridge is the BEST breakfast. When I explained that I was staying in a hotel and couldnt fit a box into the little fridge, they were glad to wrap the leftovers in foil small enough to fit the little fridge. The food here was excellent and the were pleasant, real people. I definitely recommend Del-Dio to all of you fellow foodies out there!!

My family ambushed me one day and I suddenly had many mouths to feed. What to do? Thinking on my feet, I remembered the tales I heard of Del-Dio. At the time it was a gamble, but now i realize there was never a chance of failure. I ordered 2 pizzas from Del-Dio and headed on down to the restaurant. My father remarked that it smelled "very Italian" I wasnt quite sure what that meant but hes rather old school you see. Anyway, I bantered a bit with the lady at the counter while she got my order around and headed back to my place with two pizzas in tow. Sidebar here, this place was very busy and I can see why. Their food is delicious and the staff - as far as I can tell - are very friendly and awesome. They have a very comprehensive menu which I intend to explore further. The pizza was delicious and I would not hesitate to eat from there again. Highly recommended! Oh and in case you were wondering how my tale ends. We ate all the pizza.

I heard that this was some of the best pizza in town, especially after reading the reviews. So I was super excited to try their food, and I wanted to like it since its family owned, but this has got to be the worst pizza I have ever had. The garlic knots were as hard as rocks, which was pretty much inedible. The Stromboli is ok. But the pizza was the absolute worse. All I asked was for a large with double onions and black olives. But the pizza had double olives and very little onion, which doesnt really bother me. But the pizza was extremely burnt and the crust was also hard as a rock. Ill attach a picture of the burnt pizza. Plus the pizza made me extremely sick, Ive been to the bathroom three times in less than an hour. So I have $30 of food siting here that could only be thrown away. I hate leaving bad reviews but I dont want others to get sick.

Im originally born and raised in staten island, NY and i know exactly what NY pizza is all about. The pizza at Del Dios is the closest i have ever had, it really made me feel like i was back home in NY. To all the other New Yorkers living in FL, please go grab yourself a slice or a personal pie and you will be very thankful that you did. You see a lot of pizza places saying that there pizza is "NY" style, but when you try it, it is not at all what we are used to eating. But at Del Dios it has that NY flavor and its like ordering it in staten island or brooklyn, same great delicous pizza. I finally found real NY pizza. thank god and thank you del dios!

Today my co-workers and I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. We had never been there but knew it was close enough to make it back in time. So we pre-ordered and I have to say I was absolutely floored. We walked in and our food was hot and set at a table just like you would expect from family. The food was phenomenal, the service exceptional, and the staff was very warm and friendly. This will definitely become a favorite spot for us. If youve never been it is definitely worth a try. Thanks Del-Dios for an amazing experience.

This place is wonderful. The food is great and the staff is even better. Whenever Im in the area I try to stop in here to grab lunch with my favorite dish being the chicken parmesan. This is a great local family owned place. The only downside this establishment has is if they get busy. There is typically only one waitress and if all tables are full she has a lot going on at once. They may want to consider hiring a second server during the busy periods to help spread the workload.

The pizza was really good and the service was fine too, but they have one of those obnoxious $5 minimum on debit policies. I understand why small businesses do this but if I just want a single slice of pizza I dont want to spend more than a few dollars (which is what they charge) for my one slice, and I dont appreciate being pressured into buying more than I planned because you want the customer to absorb the fee. It was pretty good pizza but not $5 for one slice good.

Awesome pizza, great service. What else can I say! Even though theyve been rockin busy the past couple Fridays (which is obvious for such a great place), we were seated within five minutes. Always consistently good (which is important to me since I used to run a pizzeria and I know how important it is), you should really try this place. BTW, something my wife enjoys, when you order a glass of wine they fill that glass to the top :)

Went there for my first time like a month ago with my wife cause I saw the reviews n they were good so had to try it for my self. Was not disappointed. The knots were excellent, the pepperoni pizza was well done n the sauce was great. You could taste the sauce in the pizza (been to other places where you only taste cheese n dough). It had a good mix of cheese n sauce. The wings where great also. Cant wait to go back.

I went there today, just to check it out since I drive by there often, and WOW! I now have a new favorite pizza place! Loved it, the Pizza crust was just delicious, and you have got to try their garlic butter sauce! its just perfect not too salty like Ive experienced in other places, it has the perfect herbs and taste of garlic. you just have to try it for yourself, highly recommended. Oh, and very friendly staff.
