I was very disappointed this evening when I went in with my family. I have been going here often for the last 6 years. I even buy lunch twice a month for my business employees from here. This evening the manager Louie decided that it was more important to feel he was right than pleasing a customer. This is unacceptable in my book. When we placed our order we ordered the chicken parm from the childrens menu, even pointing it out to our server. When we received the meal we ate. I do not normally order the chicken parm so I am not aware of the portion size. When we received the check, we were charged for the dinner portion and not the childrens portion. I own my own business and know that mistakes are made, I understand this. As a manager you need to correct the mistake. Unfortunately it took 15 minutes of our time for us to have to finally request to talk with the manager that was refusing to give us a refund. He proceeds to tell us that there is no way for him to give us a refund through the system and wanted to give is a desert. I told him we were all full, he rolled his eyes and went to grab a gift card per our request. He returned while rolling his eyes an gave us $8. And patting his hand on the money while it was on the table in a very frustrating manner. At this point since he wanted to throw a fit, I let him know the difference was $9 not $8. He rolled his eyes once again and pulled a dollar out of his wallet. He did all of this with a frustrated and rude tone. This was embarrassing for us and not a pleasurable dining experience. The worse part is, my father has known the owner of the establishment for as long as I can remember and I cant believe he allows a manager that acts like this to represent his business.

For the prices on their menu, your dish should be flavorful, seasoned with REAL Italian seasonings like garlic, basil, oregano, thyme ...etc. Their sauce is DEVOID of any kind of colors. Its a red sauce that looks like it came directly out of a can. When ordering sausage, it comes out like it was cooked for a few minutes on a flat top and then stewed in sauce for 20 minutes. Sausage with an Italian dinner should be TENDER not snappy like youre about to put it on a kaiser roll at a cookout. We ordered coffee after the sad meal they call Italian and it was COLD. It arrived at our table COLD. Our waitress was decent, we rarely spent time waiting on drinks/assistance (young blonde woman) but the cold coffee sealed the deal with this place for us. $16 plates of chicken parm (you get two thin cutlets) and a small bowl of pasta that had that weak stuff on top they call a sauce and baked manicotti (3 whole manicotti shells) for $14.00, I expected A LOT MORE. This place is GROSSLY OVERRATED. I mean the bread they bring you out before your dinner was the shining beacon for Christ sake! Its time to fire your chef and/or get him some updated training on what a REAL Italian dinner is because this place is FAR from real Italian. Our bill was $88.00 when we left and I was left upset...disappointed...utterly flabbergasted that we left spending that much money on such an underwhelming dinner & experience. And of on all days, mothers day. If you want Italian, as much as it sucks, go to Olive Garden and save yourself $70 and get exactly the same thing that this place has to offer.

We live in Oviedo and as you might know Apopka is 45 minutes away, but this Italian restaurant is the best in central Florida. Im not sure about the pizza but on a Tuesday night it was three quarters the way full and about half the tables were eating pizza, so it must be good. I took my wife for Valentines day and they have this back area thats a little more private and quiet. But the main draw that will get me back is the food. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. The bruchetta was so large it could have been a meal. Then my wifes tomato soup was so good she didnt even give me a taste. Both of our meals were out of this world. Needless to say we have a new favorite! !!

First I waited 35 minutes for a table, and ordered right away. Then after one hour and everyone else got their food the waiter said five more minutes, then an additional 15 minutes later the pasta plate finally came out. By then I was full of bread and didnt feel like paying 16 plus dollars for a plate of penne to eat it the next day. I said I no longer wanted the plate bc I had waited too long. No attemp was made to ammend things. It was a real treat to watch everyone eat while I filled up on bread. I wont be coming back here. The waiter shouted have a great evening as we left, really????

Positanos is very close to our residence so we used to come here very, very often. We stoppd due to lack of managment. We decided to try " our "place after a long hiatus and were thrilled to find out they are now under new management. Connor is the new manager, he was our favorite server and has become an awesome hands on manager. As good a server he was we expected nothing less and received much more. Point on ! Food was good and prompt, attitude upbeat, atmosphere enjoyable. We will be here much more often !!

I called in for carry out. it began pouring like crazy. when I got there I noticed that the place was almost empty so I asked if I could dine in house so that I didnt have to go back out in the storm. the guy was very rude and it was appearance he did not want me to sit at one of his booths. I and my food got soaked and it was not safe driving home. however the food is awesome. very very good food. the restaurant looked very cozy too. the guy was a real jerk though.

Such a sad cleanliness issue....workers stop rolling dough to check out customers (handling money, credit cards and the cash register) and then go back to rolling dough without washing their hands.! So I never order anything with dough (pizza, garlic knots, calzones, etc....) Then today, my daughter found a long hair in her soup! Disgusting!!! We are done with this place!! Hair nets and hand washing are just basic food handling etiquette 101!

Hands down best Italian place I have ever been to. The pizza is the best and Ive only ever had better from an Italian place up in NY. All the food is delicious and while a little pricey (it is a higher class place) they give you a lot of food and if you are eating in there is a lot of good free bread to eat while you wait. This place is a must have if you like Italian. Just be ready to spend some money.
