I have been to Spoletos UCF location 4x now. each experience the food was delicious, but the ordering, availability, and service was uniquely bad. My first visit, I went to order a Ravioli De Brodo meal and I was told that "we are out of chicken." My boyfriend went to a build your own Penne pasta, and "we are out of penne." He then switched to regular spaghetti and "we are out of spagetti." Ultimately he ended up going with pretty much the only thing available Cavatappi. After this he asked to add a meatball "we are out of meatballs right now." Then when we went to pay we asked for the included bread "we are out of bread today." Then we asked for this seasoning they offer to top off your meal "we are out of it today". The icing on the cake is that between the staff rushing us through the line and the delays with everything out of stock, our food gets plated cold with very firm pasta. It was almost a laughing experience, as the staff comes across very rude and they are literally out of everything they have on their menu. They werent even busy. The next visit, they were out of bread and only had 1 portion of chicken, again the staff is super short and rushes you along lacking a personable attitude. The third visit the same deal, out of penne pasta, out of meatballs, out of chicken, only sausage available. No bread, no oregano. Today, our 4th and likely last visit, the attendant that choose the mix ins is super rude and again they are out of chicken, then no wait, we have chicken. The food is good, the prices and portions are fair, but what a shame the staff is not friendly and the management is doing a terribly job either estimating demand or simply maintaining stock. If you cant keep it in stock, over and over. Take it off the menu. 4 visits 4 issues, I could understand if 1 time, but not 4.

Food was very good and fresh tasting, and the service was very good as well. Our party of 5 were all very happy with our meals. The manager greeted us and answered any questions we had. However, I ordered a meatball, on the side, with the facacia that I ordered and was charged $10 for "Spaghetti Meatball" when I should only have been charged $3.50 for the meatball. I did not notice this until the next day when I looked at my receipt. I have tried calling the place but the phone just rings and rings and rings - no one answers and no voicemail picks up. I would appreciate it if someone from management would reply here and let me know how to contact them to remedy this situation. Thank you. UPDATE: I emailed last week (June 28), as requested by owner response, but no one has responded to my email. Your good customer service is starting to slip.......

The food was good but the staff needs to be more attentive. One of the staff who was in charge of adding the flavor of sauce to the pasta almost argued and said the me and my friend asked for Marinara sauce whereas we had asked for Alfredo (does not even sound alike). The other staff person said that they could redo the order but we didnt wanna waste food, so just ended up adding Alfredo on top of the Marinara and ate it. The worst part is that when we were about to pay for the food, the lady who had messes up initially was saying out loud that we asked her for Marinara sauce and that she heard us say that to her, and she was loud, we could easily hear her. Completely unprofessional attitude!! The food was decent, wouldnt mind going there again, and hopefully have a better experience the next time.

This place is awesome. Its similar to Chipotle with picking the toppings for your food and then it being cooked in front of you, but with Italian food. It is my girlfriends and my favorite place to go. The most recent times we have gone here we have had spectacular service. And prior to that we have never had a bad experience. It is always great service and they are getting better. The person at the toppings (Robert Williams) was great and funny and the person (Nemo) at the sauces cooked my ingredients into my pasta perfectly. The student discount is great for students eating on a budget and they even had someone (James) who came around and asked how our meal was and took our empty trays away for us. Overall it is always an amazing experience.

I am giving this place 5 stars because it is simple and straightforward. This isnt a fancy Italian restaurant, nor is it some back-alley pasta place. You go in, choose your pasta, choose your ingredients, your sauce, and you have lunch for 9 dollars. If youre a student, you get it for 7 with a free drink. At first I was a little put off by how little the portions of each ingredient they put in seemed, but I quickly learned my first time just how coming this food is. You will feel full enough to not want to have a huge dinner, but will also lose weight because of "just-right" these portions are. Think of it as the Subway of Pastas, except they give you as much as you need, not as much as you want.

Excellent food, but portions leave much to be desired. Spoleto is a fast-casual Italian food place similar to Chipotle in how its run. Their marinara sauce is addicting, as is their perfectly cooked pasta (seriously, weve eaten here about a dozen times and the pasta has a perfect consistency every single time!) Before they started giving student discounts to UCF students, we thought that wed need to give up on Spoleto due to the sky-high prices. No plate of fast-food pasta and a drink is ever worth $15 a person, especially considering the smallish portions. However, that same combo is now $7 for us UCF students, meaning we eat here almost every week!

I went to Spoletos for the first time to pick up lunch for my 2 co-workers and myself. I have an hour break. I was able to do a commute of 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back. I read off the posted note from my co workers wanted & the food was cooked on a skillet right before my eyes. The staff was really friendly. I was able to make it back to work with lunch for 3 with 5 minutes to spare. Fast, easy, and quick service. Not to mention. I had a Chicken Alfredo, and the food quality was superb. Great place to go for a lunch break.

Its another one of those chipotle style restaurants, but this one is for pasta/salad/flatbread! Solid ingredients and a tasty meal. I was satisfied. Nothing super amazing but the novelty of customizable food is nice. I feel like you need to know what ingredients go together or else the whole customize your meal doesnt go so well. Hence pick out the already created popular dishes on the menu. Nonetheless, I love pasta and I will be back. Oh and the pasta is handmade so I upped the star rating from a 3 to 4!

After trying Spoleto again, I will say this time I was satisfied with the quality of the food. The first few times, the alfredo sauce was too thin and soupy. Now, much later, it was the correct consistency. If it seems like Im too picky, its because alfredo pasta is my favorite pasta dish, and I can say I was pleased this time. Service is quick at lunch, and okay at dinner. Most employees seem friendly and Im always treated well. The potato gnocchi I tried was great!
