The food was great..but the service was very disappointing...the 1st time i came the server was really nice and she always made sure my cup was full...as well as my children. Today i ate there and I understand there were only 2 servers and there was a semi large table...but 1st thing...unaware..my four year old dropped silverware on the floor under the table..so there was 4 of us and I only saw 3 silverwares...so i asked our server for an extra one..and he looks down and says "there one on the floor" and walks away...like really am i going to eat of silverware that fell on the the dirty floor?? So i pick it up and placed it on the table and when he came back..i gave it to him and asked for a new one..he simply takes it and switches the silverware from the empty table next to us...2nd the semi large table he made sure to refill their drinks at all time...3rd when he finally did come to check on us..we were done with our food..thirsty...as he did not refill our drinks...and asked for refills...when he brought the cups back...i received no ice and warm soda...besides that the food was really good...i just wish service would have been better...i was very disappointed as this is my 2nd time visiting the restaurant and i doubt i will go back again...

This place is great! Best Italian food in Orlando. The staff is top notch, very friendly and super accommodating. The food is excellent and the portions are huge! I eat here once a week, and every time I introduce friends to IL Pescatore, they are always impressed, and often become "regulars" themselves. Besides the wide variety of delicious options, they also have numerous daily specials. They even have gluten free options for some of our guests with special dietary restrictions. There is something for everyone here. I recently hosted a dinner for a party of 35+ guests, and the manager and staff were very very accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure my guests were having a good time. I am sincerely very grateful to you. Whether we are a party of 2, or a party of 40, you consistently go above and beyond to provide both excellent food and service.....all with a smile on your faces. Please...everyone give this restaurant a try. Dont go to those inferior "chain" restaurants when you can be supporting this local business. I PROMISE that you will not be disappointed. IL Pescatore...you guys have me as a customer for life. Thanks again!

The best Italian food in all of Orlando. This restaurant is the legacy of a generation of amazing Italian cooking, and it shows. The owner, Dritan, is among the old guard of Italian restaurant owners. Youll always see him working the front, in the kitchen, bussing tables, etc. The place is small, quaintly decorated, and has a long history. Those red chairs and booths have been there for 20+ years. The pizza is spectacular. The thin crust is always perfectly cooked with the crisp bottom and melted cheese. Ive found it so good, its hard for me to branch out and order anything else. The sauce has a pleasant sweetness to it. Order extra and use it for dipping throughout whole meal. Other favorite dishes include calamari, calzone, and stromboli. Il Pescatore, with its rich tastes and long history, is somewhere Ill be frequenting many years to come.

The atmosphere is casual and makes you feel like you are back in New York, I loved everybodys accents and from talking to our waiter learned he was from Brooklyn. Then there is the food which is quite good for being so reasonably priced. The Veal Pizzaiola had a unique and delicious sauce, and the Tri-Color salad had delicious Mozzarella cheeze. The Tiramisu however seemed previously frozen and then thawed right on the plate on which it was served; the lady fingers, which are only supposed to be soaked in rum, oozed a little water. It tasted fine but they should probably consider transferring these to a new plate before serving. Next time, even if just for variety, I will probably try something chocolate-y or lemony for dessert instead. All in all a very good balance between value and taste, if I could give it 4.5 stars I would.

Orlando is definitely a great city if you are a foodie. Name the kind of cuisine you are interested in and you can be sure there is at least several dozen great spots that will satisfy you. If Italian food is your thing theres only one spot in Orlando I would ever go or ever recommend to anyone. My family and I have been going to IL Pescatore for over 10 years now and weve never a less than amazing meal. My personal favorite dish is the Pollo de Stefano but their pizza is the best Ive ever had as well. Its more than just about the food though. All the wait staff is phenomenal and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. Tony, the manager/owner makes you feel like you have arrived at home when you walk in the door. This is truly a special spot and a gem of Orlando.

Easily the best Italian restaurant in the Orlando area. After one visit I know all the waiters and owner by name. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a friendly hostess who made me feel right at home. The menu has a wide variety of european dishes that you WILL love. Unlike most restaurants I felt significant. The waiters/waitresses are patient and very insightful. Our table received the food quickly and it was steamy. The first bite of my Stromboli reassured me that I will be returning. I couldnt stop thinking of how perfectly seasoned everything was. My overall experience was ideal. I would easily recommend anyone to bring their family or a date to IL Pescatore. You will not be disappointed.

Italian restaurants are tricky for me because its probably my favorite cuisine to prepare myself. Even though Im not Italian, I feel as if I was an Italian grandmother in a past life. For me? Its all about the red sauce. Something so simple, yet some places manage to mess it up. Not Il Pescatore, though... they know what they are doing. Its not the best Ive ever had, but its still pretty good. This is actually one of my favorite takeout spots. For about $10 you get a HUGE serving of stuffed shells, bread and a side salad. Its definitely enough for 2 people, you cant beat it.

If you dont care about atmosphere or great service but looking for good Italian food this is the place to come to. The pizza comes a little burnt on the bottom i personal dont like that the res of every thing was good loved the chicken parm . The single waiter that i meet was all was there when we needed him but some times had a under tune when we asked for something extra. The only the that holds it back is the location, rustic feel and small space not in a good way

I heard about this restaurant 3 years ago and we finally made it there last night. The food was delicious and priced well as we both had leftovers for 2-3 additional meals each. I had the eggplant and my husband had angel hair with a white sauce, mushrooms and chicken. Our server Marie was attentive and recommend our dishes which were great. The dining room could use a makeover but it was clean. I will definitely make the trip across town to eat there again.
