So happy to have found this gem! Friendly, attentive staff, great food!Hubby and I have been to many hole in the wall authentic Mexican places and this one is one of the best and is NO hole in the wall, clean, well decorated and inviting, and still very authentic. And attention to small details that make a big difference. Beer was ice cold and served in a frosty thick glass pitcher, no ice needed to keep this pitcher cold. And came with two frosty glasses with a thick juicy lime wedge. Nothing worse than getting a two day old lime with your Modelo, or Corona that you cant even squeeze a drop from. Not here. And the homemade hot sauces....the best!!!!!! Those two things alone I would be back for. The entrees we ordered where just as good and tasted great. We both scrapped the plates clean. Serving size seemed a bit small at first but actually where perfect. We walked out full and happy. Will be back real soon, we are so happy to have found our new Mexican restaurant! And I cant say enough about the staff, so friendly, but not over bearing. And never sat waiting for anything. Chips and salsa stayed full and so did our drinks and any other request we had was fulfilled swiftly and happily!!! We love this place!!!

Restaurants are made up of people, so for most customers, it is easy to keep their inner comments to themselves out of fear of "offending" someone; or, on the other side, some people like to discredit restaurants to look cool and "sophisticated." I sit at my desk on this rainy evening to write about La Fiesta not to hurt it, but to share my opinion: to help others with their choices and provide feedback to a (hopefully) open-minded small business owner. I either found the headquarters of the nationwide Dona Maria pre-made Mole sauce company or found an incredible resemblance in taste when I tried La Fiestas Mole enchiladas. Being from Mexico, I miss the wonderfulness of a good Mole dish and try it at every new restaurant. I have also tried Wal-Marts Dona Maria pre-made Mole sauce--I understand why it can last for years in a storage room. Orlando is not known for (nor does it offer a huge number of options in) Mexican food. I know there are others, like me, who seek the wonderfulness of authentic Mexican cuisine. My search did not end at La Fiesta.

I dont know where to start; made reservations and showed up a few mins late and the owner denied to seat us cause he gave our table away. Had the worst attitude with worst service. Food was just thrown togeather very plain and bland. Gave us take out menus and got mad at us for trying to order nachos from the take out menu. Told them we were vegetarian yet a piece of chicken was found in the plate, we were not mad about that cause ppl make mistakes but the way they handled the situation was as if we were lying and they denied it. Never even tried to replace that plate for the mistake. And the only reason im even writing this review is because of the horrible stomach ache i had after dining here. Everyone had an attitude and i have never had a bad dining experience in my 30 years but this was the worst. Looked like they favoured certain customers over others. Anyway i wish i can give less then 1 star.

They just moved into their new (new) location next to Ocean Sun, so I understand there might be some issues, like the broken/ poorly-running A/C. But the host station was a mess- something they should have down after being open already in a couple other locations. We gave our name and were told itd be 15-20 minutes, so we stepped outside. Came back in 5 minutes later, and waited and waited. Noticed they were seating people ahead of us, mentioned this, was told they called us, but they would seat us next... And they didnt. More people sat head of us- we finally just gave up when they then sat one person at a big table (we were a party of 4). I hope they work these kinks out, theyre good cheap Mexican food in the area. But for now, I have to give them one star for the frustrating experience.

Best. Mexican. Ever. Seriously, this place is the jam. They just moved into a bigger spot because everyone started figuring how just how delicious their food was. I always get an order of the chorizo queso and the chicken + steak fajitas. Beware, this is a LOT of food so you could easily share between 2 people. (Just ask for extra tortillas) Their pork tamales are also not to be missed and I also really love their chicken tostadas. Ask for the homemade hot sauces, they are SO good. Watch out for the habanero one... depending on their batch of peppers, it can be nuclear!

I have been here several times mainly because I live walking distance away. We always try and support local businesses. The multiple times I have eaten here, the food (and the service) is a coin toss, had their re-fried bean soup several times (well thats what it looks like). Dry, bland food seems to be the norm. Im sure Ill be back because its around the corner. Hopefully they will get the word that they should at least step back and take a look at the poor reviews. Heck! and Im easy to please. 2 stars is optimistic.

I have eaten at La Fiesta regularly for 12 years. They were located in Longwood for years before 2 other stops and then coming to the present location. The quality and service is the best. Their food prep is always quick so even if there is a crowd, the turnover is quick as well. The menu is large and varied and the food is simply delicious. I highly recommend them because as a regular who has eaten at La Fiesta for 12 years, the food & service is the same as it was for me from day one.

The location by Ocean Sun (excellent brewery) is terrible. Their customer service is great, however the food isnt. They gave me a quesadilla with chicken and cheese....the chicken was dry and the cheese seemed like it was Monterey jack. The rice that came with it was clearly over cooked. The three tacos were dry. Their salad consisted of sour cream, one tomato slice, shredded lettuce and spoonful of discolored guacamole. Wont be going back. The initial smell of the place gave me pause.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I used to come here years ago with my mom at their old location in Casselberry. As my mom passed away nearly 10 years ago, its a bit nostalgic every time I come in. I love the food, the queso is everything. The new location on Curry Ford is so nice. They have a great bar area, outside seating, nice booths. I was so happy when I found out that they hadnt closed, only moved. It takes me 30 minutes to drive there, but it is completely worth it!

This is a solid Tex Mex restaurant in South Orlando. There isnt really that much in the way of Tex Mex in Orlando, so its nice to have this place around. The food is good, consistent with what you might expect from a Mexican restaurant, including tacos, enchiladas, tamales, etc. Its situated in a shopping center, and its entrance is a little obscured from the road, but its there, and the food is good. Wait staff were friendly and prompt.
