Inside always looks like a dark bar to me, so if I go, I eat outside . I live in Baldwin so I really want to like this place but the food is always sub par and disappointing . I finally thought ok I will just go for appetizers and a margarita, and sit outside . The "Mexican" restaurants served their margarita in a short rocks glass! What kind of Mexican restaurant doesnt at least have a margarita glass? Thats half the fun of drinking at a Mexican restaurant! Plus the fact that they barely put any salt along the rim and it tasted like just store bought sour mix. I was hoping something a little more festive. The appetizers once again were just eh. I really wish this place will try harder with better food and drink quality instead of just relying on its location. I really really want to like it but I just cant recomend until they start trying harder.

Nice looking restaurant, nice location but was not really impressed with the food. We had a large party so I was able to try a bunch of different dishes. Fajitas portion was good but it didnt come out too hot. It also didnt include cheese or lettuce. Tacos Al pastor were missing some fresh pineapple which I would have expected for the traditional prep of this dish. Enchiladas and burritos came out almost cold and server didnt seem to concerned about it. Queso also was kind of bland or tasteless and the added meat (that came on the side) was cold. Finally the taste and especially the preparation/display on the sangria was pretty harsh. I think theres potential here but I dont think itll survive in this prime (and probably expensive) location without upping their game a couple levels.

Food was delish! Visited twice about 2 years ago. The only down side was the service. Had 5 associates pass by us and not one questioned if we needed a table. Im pretty good with eye contact but not one stopped to assist. No biggy..I waved one down..we were seated..took another 15 min.for a waiter to come and take our orders. 2nd time I went I decided to eat outside to enjoy the view of Baldwin Lake and also to keep an eye on my bicycle :). Same horrible service. 2 families who were seated after us were serviced and my dear friend and I were ignored. I refused to believe what my friend thought it was because the Baldwin Community is very diverse. He insisted that because of his dark skin we were ignored. I was very disappointed and saddened by this. I never went back.

The freshest, most outstanding Mexican fare to be had in Orlando. I live nearby and have dined many times, sampling virtually the entire menu. Everything is prepared fresh-to-order, served dramatically, and seasoned perfectly. The staff is incredible. Many people are used to cheap Mexican food, and that might be the problem with some of the low ratings here. Sorry folks, this place is deluxe all the way, fully 4-Diamond quality. And its not really even that expensive considering the extra quality and all-freshly prepared in-house cuisine. I ate there last night, and I think Ill go back tonight. Too good to pass up. :-)

The view and setting are beautiful but the service and food is sub par. The hostess had an attitude the moment we walked up. The waitress did not check on us once. We ordered "mojitos" which turned out to be more mixer than anything else- lime and mint were just thrown in the cup. Ordered fish tacos which looked tasty but were so bland and the fish wasnt even warm. The sides were also room temp. The taco shells tasted like they came straight out of the package. Definitely not authentic Mexican food. Very dissappointed..

Yes! Its that amazing. The experience itself is great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful not at all stuck up as I imagined (sorry). Ordered the Chefs Tasting Menu $220 included 18 courses (petite but filling). There is actually three tasting menus to pick from all at different prices and courses. Wine and drink selection was great. The food itself was amazing , fresh and unique. I cant remember the exact name of everything I ate but I would definitely recommend for a special occasion, or someone special.

Fairly authentic. Good pozole when its on the menu occasionally. I think its family owned which gives it a warm atmosphere. Its fun to go to the little fake Baldwin Park town. However, the guacamole although served in a molcajete (the rock bowl) was on top of a piece of wax paper and tasted premade with a too mushy texture. My entree also did not taste as fresh as expected. This place used to be better but quality has suffered since my last visit months ago.

1st time here. Regular patron of Mexican/Tex mex. The patio eating area is quite nice, overlooking the lake, and is pet friendly. Prices were not out of line. Nice varied selection of mixed drinks. Good salsa for chips, though Id recommend adding the white cheese dip. As for food, i ordered the stuffed pablanos in chicken and beef. Very good. My girls ordered the taco shell salads and said were very pleased with. Fresh guacamole, a plus.

This place is a little more expensive than most Mexican restaurants but really you are paying for the location (especially the outdoor seating). You get a lot of food and actually some of ours was better the second day. The tamales appetizer was very tasty. The pork dinner tasted best the first day and the Colbri Chicken better the second day. It is a nice date location and combine it with a short walk and sit at Lake Baldwin.

For the closest thing to authentic Mexican food, in a beautiful setting (overlooking Lake Baldwin in Baldwin Parks Villiage Center), with awesome service, Colibri is your place! They also offer a GOOD Tex-Mex menu for those that arent willing to venture into the authentic. Drinks are pretty darn delicious - I happen to LOVE the Cilantro Julep & Mexican Old Fashion. Margarita options are quite varied & very very good too!

as a frequent customer to this location, however i was very very disappointed with the last dinner how servers handled my disappeared credit card. i tried to get in touch through your website kindly but had no return what so ever. after the dinner i signed my receipt my credit card was not in the booklet and no one at least tried to pay attention to the situation. Very disappointing management.

Have had dinner here many times, with average service and food, but I must admit that tonight was by beyond disappointing. Not only was our food not brought out in a timely manor (lukewarm), it was also the wrong food. To top it off, when I approached the waiter he was extremely arrogant and confrontational and the assistant managers aconflict resolution skills are much to be desired.

Cant believe this place has been here for 8 years, and Im just now discovering it. Will definitely be back. The Pollo Chipotle was incredible...and quite spicy, the way it should be. Guac was very traditional and chunky. Needed a little salt but the chips were delicious white and yellow corn. Skinny margarita with agave was $9 top shelf. Small pour. Great atmosphere. Check it out!

Long wait to get a table, but when they called us for our table we saw many open. Food was good but overpriced, for Mexican of this quality. They were able to seat us outside with our dog, which was nice. They even got my dog some water, but the service was just awefully slow. My friend is pregnant and has a lot of allergies and they were not accommodating at all for her.
