Dang... I really hate leaving bad reviews but feel this is the only way to get the point across to them. We have been coming here for years and the food is always good. We sometimes come here 4 times a month. The only complaint I have ever had is that the older one of their two children who sometimes helps them has a bad attitude in general.... oh well, he probably doesnt want to be there. Anyway, about 2 years ago I found a foot long black hair in my rice... I chalked it up to a random happening, didnt say anything and kept going back. Well last week.... same thing except I ate the hair and had to pull the end out of my throat which made me throw all of my food up. I called to give them a heads up (very nicely) that this has been a problem and maybe they should wear some hair nets (which they dont). The main reason for the poor review though is actually because of the attitude given ... very obviously upset, the lady just wanted me to "bring the hair in and will give me my money back"... I explained I didnt want money back or free food, just want them to be aware of it so they can address the problem. She continued to have an attitude with ZERO attempt to apologize. The result is a poor review and total loss of a customer.

Had the worst experience there today and will not be back...I have been going there for years and always order the same thing... hot and sour soup and a spring roll. When I tried to place my order today I was informed that they were not McDonalds or Burger King and that I needed to spend at least $5 to eat at their establishment. Since I only had a $5 bill on me and no extra for tax, I knew that I would have to put it on a debit or credit card. She then informed me that I would have to spend $10 in order to use a card...I have a digestive issue that prevents me from eating more than a small amount of food at one sitting ( which is why I only order soup and a spring roll) I wound up ordering two lunch specials to reach the $10 card min. and be able to have my soup... feeling like I had been forced to order food and spend money unnecessarily I had already decided I was not going to leave a tip ( I always leave a tip) and again was treated rudley when she confronted me about the $0 in the tip line. I have never been to a restaurant and been told that I needed to spend a certain amount of money in order to patronize their establishment!

Extremely upset. My mom placed an order for 3 chow mein noodles and 3 egg rolls this evening & we received the egg rolls, but instead of chow mein we were given chop suey. Two completely different things!! Originally I thought this was going to be a great new Chinese restaurant we would switch to since they offered delivery. Wow am I wrong. I immediately called back about 15min ago to inquire as to why we were given chop suey and was told thats what I ordered (steamed onion and cabbage). No. I even did further research just to know FOR SURE that I was not mistaken. I am not. Chow mein contains majority noodles. Chop suey contains strictly steamed or stir fried veggies. I spoke to two women over the phone and both just talked in circles. My mother has an onion intolerance as well, making this even worse because she cannot even eat any of the meal. There are large chunks of onion throughout. I strongly believe we should have received our money back. I will also be reviewing on Yelp.

Went in for lunch and used the restroom after placing order, the restroom was filthy with built up grime and black dirt or mold. This was not dirt from recent occurrence, I could not use the restroom, almost vomited but managed to get out and canceled my order. I am very sad for many reasons. I have enjoyed home delivery in the past but never again. I also reported to appropriate gov agency. There is no way they can have proper cleanliness in the kitchen.

The service here is terrible. They are rude on the phone when you are trying to place an order and are trying to get you off the phone when you are trying to get delivery. If you call back and try to get them to fix the order they will be even more rude and refuse to fix it unless you go to the restaurant. When you get there they will tell you that its your fault that the order is messed up and still wont replace it or refund your money.

Average decent Chinese food, they are the only ones in the area that deliver. Plus 2 stars for delivery. The only Chinese place within 15 miles that delivers. When you had a rough day and dont want to leave the house yet want something for the family, that isnt dominos. Thanks for delivering. No extra $3 delivery fee as well, like dominos. Just your total plus hopefully a decent tip for who ever brings it.

they charged me $11.25 for this after years of ordering from them, after what I thought would be a simple call the owner argued with me for a half an hour, they eventually sent me a small version of what I ordered but I will never order from them again. I wasnt aware it was legal to have a 14 and 16 year old working full time either, the 16 year old is very rude when answering the phone...

The food is great however since the new owners took over with the kids working the service counter, their customer service has gone down hill. Those kids are very unprofessional & the owner/mother does not seem to be phased by it at all. She can also be very rude at times herself. I have to deal with sometimes because they have the best Chinese Food in the area.

As I write this review Im trying stomach eating this bad tasting Chinese food since I spend $35 on it. Im giving it 2 stars because the egg rolls are good and the delivery boy seemed nice. However, the lo mien, orange chicken and crab ragoons do not taste good whatsoever. Which is really unfortunate because the crab ragoons are usually on point. Really disappointed.

Im sad because weve been ordering from here for 10 years, and I dont want to return. Last time we called, they basically hung up on me during the order, before I was done. Then they sent the pissy teenage son on the delivery and he totally over reacted at my dogs who I had under control. Every time lately when we call its an unhappy situation

I have been here a couple of times, but never treated as badly as Sat evening. I went in - there was only one customer in the sitting area - went to the counter - there were 3 people in the cooking area - all arguing loudly - they looked at me but never acknowledged me - I waited about 3-5 minutes and left - was very bad experience.

Today I tried China Star for the first time... And I dont think my life will every be the same! Not only do they deliver (which blows my mind!) but their House Special Lo Mein is a gift from the Universe! And!... They were exactly on time! Instant love for this place. Amazing first impression, definitely will choose again!
