This place is extremely close to where I live and I really wanted to love it but I dont think Ill be ever going back. Ive been there 3 times because again, it is super close and they have good deals on various days of the week (lobster day, pasta Thursday, etc.). The pasta is watery and does not taste homemade. It is also over done and not perfectly al dente as good Italian pasta should be. The chicken is tasteless and the vegetables nothing special. The service is also painfully slow each and every time, even when there is no one else in the restaurant. The place is trying very hard as I always see the owner recruiting people from the street but honestly, if you are in the area, you will get significantly better food at Perricones for about the same price so why ever go here? Yes, there is never a wait here and frequently a line at Perricones but doesnt that say something?

I came here on a late night date and it was a very pleasant experience. We walked in and the waiters were friendly and unobtrusive. The ambiance was relaxing and we were able to have a good conversation without overly loud music in the background. The dishes were reasonably priced for the massive amount of food that you got. I ordered the Papparadelle 3 Gusti and my date had the Spaghetti Bolognese with an appetizer of Calamari. My pasta was creamy and very filling. The pasta itself was perfectly aldente. If I had to nitpick on one thing, it would be that the Calamari didnt have enough seasoning and tasted a bit bland. I ended the night with a delicious cappuccino that had a good amount of foam, just how I like it! Location is easy to find. And outdoor seating is always filled whenever I walk by. I definitely would recommend this place! :)

In regards to ordering food, while the food is great the delivery itself consistently takes more than 2 hours to arrive. More than once I have called a manager says "next time you will get 50% off, just call and remind us". Tried that once and they were beyond confused. Anyone would rather just have the initial order during the quoted delivery time or with a discount to the initial order. Anyway, food is okay, delivery time causes me to highly consider other places before overpaying for this place.

What a gem! Fundamental FL is a tiny little place tucked into an unassuming spot on Westwood in Little Persia. The kitchen and waitstaff were all really friendly and made great suggestions. The portion sizes as noted were small, but we did not leave hungry. Three of us ordered 6 items plus shared a dessert.

Summed up in one word: Delicioso!!! The Moscato was amazing, the salad was hearty and filling, and the main dish was more than incredible. Would definitely recommend. Staff was very engaging and courteous.
