We are a regular and loyal customer. I made reservations three days prior to our going for four people at 5:15pm. We arrived a couple of minutes early and were seated. Our guests ordered first, then my wife ordered. I then ordered a small (10 inch) pizza and was told that the wait would be one and one half hours. I reiterated that I wanted a very small pizza and that did not make a difference. If our guests had not already ordered, I would have walked out. We have gone there every Friday evening for many weeks for pizza and go early to not impact their normal crowd. I told the waiter that I did not want to eat anything else so I sat there while the other three people ate their dinner. The waiter never came back and we had to ask a bus person for the check. A terrible experience. The first time I receive service like that, the saying goes; "shame on you". The second time the saying goes; "shame on me". Good bye, La Forchetta ................Francesco Ferrara

As a regular diner at La Forchetta, I can honestly say that Ive never been treated better anywhere in the country than I have here. Im here at least 2 days a week for lunch and sometimes for dinner too. Theres very few items on the menu that I havent had and theres some weve created off menu that have been fantastic as well. A truly family affair, the folks at La Forchetta are so tight knit that they work together, many live together and they even vacation together. So sometimes the stressful situations of running a family business spill over onto the floor but its amusing entertainment and usually divided from main dining area but to me its entertaining. There isnt a dish I wouldnt recommend but their Chicken Luca, Pizza della Mama, the La Forchetta steak bomb, any pizza and Rigatoni Bolognese are at the top of my list. Oh and the lunch specials are killer portions at a deep discount off the dinner price.

All hail the new King of Italian food in Martin County! This restaurant has steadily improved, innovated and consistently delivered until it has moved to the best of class in the area. Actually this is the second time around for this crew, the rapidly growing Defide family from Italy. They previously had the La Borgata Restaurant in Palm City during its heyday, but their new restaurant, La Forchetta is a more fun, lively, happy place that makes you feel like you are in Italy when you are there. They wait staff is very interested in giving you a quality dining experience. The prices are reasonable and the menu changes often with a dynamic specials menu. If youre lucky the patriarch, Dominic may come out and visit your table to see if you are happy. When you are done eating in this busy little restaurant you will walk away wanting to learn italian! Better make a reservation.

I was excited to get a same day reservation here. My family of 5 arrived 5 minutes early & were seated right away... and promptly forgotten. A table that was seated after us had their order taken ahead of us. When one of the staff noticed us, after about 10 or so minutes after being seated, the owner (Im guessing) profusely apologized and had our server come over right away. In their defense the place was HOPPING! After that unsettling welcome, we enjoyed timely service and great food. The kids pizza was enormous. All the portions were generous & very tasty with fresh ingredients. This was our first visit to this restaurant. I hope to give it another try in the future.

We just stopped here to get a quick bite to eat and didnt want to do the boring fast food joints that were around so we chose La Forchetta. We got our meal to go but it was a real nice place inside. It had a very cozy feel. The food was outstanding too. I ordered the Baked Penne and it was real good. Real big portions too. The garlic bread balls were outstanding. I didnt even know it came with my meal but next time im back im ordering several. The staff was nice while we were there for our brief wait time. They asked if Id like a water while i waited and were very accomidating. If youre in stuart check it out. Its a hidden fooler that you wont regret!

Our family gathered from Georgia and N Carolina staying at a hotel near this wonderful restaurant. We came together to celebrate the life of our recently deceased mother at her memorial service the next day. When we entered the restaurant I noticed a vase of gorgeous red roses. After enjoying an excellent meal with courteous and efficient service I inquired about where I could purchase roses to give out at mothers service. When I explained my need the very kind manager simply gave me the stunning roses. Not only were we fed like family we were treated like family. We will highly recommend this lovely place to our friends near and far.

This is one of the most delicious Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. In the few days I was I. The area I ate here 3 times because it was so good. From the basil pesto cream sauce and creamy gnocchi to the homemade cannanoli and delicious pizza Ive yet to find one bad dish. While the starters (salad) arent the best ceased Ive ever had the nice touches of anchovies and grated cheese make the difference. They were even kind enough to send us home with a bottle of wine to take home. Make a special trip to mile marker 101 on I-95 for this gem!

Not going to lie here. I am from MN came to visit family for Easter and almost lost it when I pulled a long black hair out of my dinner. I am sorry to say but, we all lost our appetite. Mistakes happen, it was not the waitress fault, and the meal was comped, so I am appreciative. I might suggest hair nets in the future. Management and hosting staff made excuses, this LONG black hair was pulled out as the food was set down, no excuses here.... Take a good look at the food before your dig in, last time any of my family will consider this spot.

You dont have to travel to Sicily to get real authentic cuisine from the South of Italy, Its right here in Stuart. From the grandma pizza to the rice balls you would think your Nona was in the kitchen cooking. The Osso Bucco with risotto is outstanding as well as any lamb special. Bottom-line, whether its an intimate meal or a family gathering this is place to please even the pickiest of eaters. Everyone will leave satisfied. Leave room for their dessert.

So this is what I got from la forchetta for lunch. My colleague ordered a pasta and I ordered their chicken salad. Believe me when I tell you, I put mayonnaise thicker on my sandwich. There is barely two tablespoons of this crap in the box and they charged 300tk for this. I dont like complaining about food because I know its hard work maintaining a restaurant business but this is making me want to laugh out loud and kill someone at the same time. Unbelievable.

My husband, son and myself went for dinner, I had been wanting to try for a long time so I was excited to go. It was better then I expected. My son had penne ala vodka, my husband had chicken frences, and I had grilled chicken catanese. Hands down best Italian in the area. Weve eating many highly recommended NYC Italian restaurants, this beats them all! Will be back many times!
