The buffet food is not the best. Im surprised with the money you spend at this hotel you would think the buffe food would be top of the line. The omelettes they made right in front of you however the everything eles was pre package food, processed. I order from the restaurant menu and got the Belgian Wafiles with the sweet butter and a side of potatoes. That was delicious. The reason I give 2 stars: so I ordered the Belgian, cafe latte and potatoes, ok. When I get the bill, the total is 28 (not too much but,ok). Then they added the 18% serves charge (you dont know about that till later), 0f course tax, I did tip an extra $6 (this was before I knew about the 18% sc). So now we are at $42.01.so after they run my card and I get the receipt to sign the bill now says $53.38....???? Apparently there is a dinning fee. Never again

The food was fine, poorly coordinated staff. I had stayed at the Intercontinental hotel for 4 nights and on the first day coming here, I didnt have a great experience. I didnt get any names but the hostess at the front had directed us to a table, and had seated us. She said that we could go get our food at the buffet and then come back to the table. I went back and there was coffee and orange juice placed. I had assumed it was placed since we had the table. I sat down, and then a waitress goes up to me with an attitude. "Thats not your table. Dont you see the coffee and orange juice laid out?" She kicked me out of the table and they had mistakenly given OUR table to another couple. Poor coordination on behalf of the waiters and hosts.

Muy mal servicio nos dejaron esperando por mas de 15 min en la entrada sin darnos mesa y ya cuando nOs la dieron no nos atendieron, nadie llegaba a nuestra mesa a ofrecernos ni siquiera agua. Ojo esto no tiene nada que ver con el servicio de el hotel el hotel si 5 estrellas

We had the breakfast buffet 2 days in a row. The omelets were very good and there were some other nice choices. The manager Jesus is a really nice guy and the staff were friendly overall. It gets pretty busy, so maybe ask for an extra drink if you dont like to wait. We were hesitant to go at first because of a couple negative reviews, but we were informed that they have been under new management and they seem to be getting it together. Will definitely stop in next time were in Miami.

Treated my husband and said he was.homeless. Stayed at the international hotel like we do in hong kong. My husband went to breakfast in a sweat suit. They refused to serve him and called him homeless in front of the entire restraunt. My husband a Johnson and whales chef. Very sad to profile. Shame on you! Paid premium rates at the hotel to be treated so badly. He paid the bill plus tip !!!! He left proudly. Shame on you!!!!!

When we got there waitress right away said if you order from the menu would take an hour.we order buffet breakfast which is what she wanted.The buffet was very limited in choice of food one chef doing omelets, it took an hour to get to him ,the sides were cold by the time he cooked for you. Service was just as bad. I dont recommend eating here.

WAY OVERPRICED!!! Very limited buffet. Wait staff was way below average. They automatically put 18% gratuity on the bill. Fortunately Estefania with outstanding people skills completely smoothed the situation over. They are very fortunate to have her on staff.
