My family and I have been going to this place since it first opened. Always had good food and decent service. My usual dinner was always the teriyaki salmon dinner with no rice and instead of rice, extra veggies. I called for take out today to order my usual ad I have done for years to date but this time things went different. I proceeded with my order: teriyaki dinner, no rice, and instead of rice.. extra veggies, salad w ginger dressing. The woman taking my order told me "we dont give extra veggies". I thought it was a misunderstanding and explained myself once again because Ive order for years and it has always been the same order. "Maam, Im getting the extra veggies instead of the rice. Ive ordered for years and I even order last week, may I please speak to the manager?" I explained that Ive been getting this same order for years and Ive always been a really good customer. "Ive order twice a week for many years." In the end they would rather lose me than serve me the same dinner Ive order for so many years. Shame on you Asaka.. Thats not how you should treat such loyal customers. Besides the fact that Ive been getting this same meal forever for such a long time, they were willing to dump me as a customer so quickly. You gave me no explanation that the rules have now changed, no option to pay more for what I want.

Let me start with the important stuff: Its hard for a roll to stand out in this Nigiri saturated world, but the Spicy Tuna Sandwich is a must try. It will quickly become the center of your sushi dreams. Aside form the fact they prepare this amazing tuna/panko rolled dream, Asaka is an unpretentious and cozy restaurant located in a typical south florida strip mall. They have great lunch and dinner specials including Bento boxes. Service could certainly improve.

I was there a few times after I discovered this hidden gem. I like rolls and they have a huge selection comparing to other sushi places in the area. Prices are very cheap for the quality. Try tempura bagel roll, best 7$ spent! Service as mentioned is hit or miss, our waitress completely forgot about us one time.

İt was a bad experience.i ordered chicken teriyaki.the chicken was smelling and taste was awful.i told that waitress and the cashier.they did not accept my concern and they charged me the food price which I havent eaten!!!!this was happened to me for the first time in Miami!!Dont go this restaurant!!!!

One of the best sushi places i know. Alweys fresh, great Sashimi (try the salmon and the white tuna.... Melt in your mouth.. I am there at least 3 times a month. Dont expect the best service but they are prifetionals. Go for the food, nothing else.

Ive been going here Asaka for more than 6 years and never been disappointed! The food is excellent and atmosphere so welcoming. The sushi is authentic and high quality. The head sushi chef is one of the nicest and talented chefs youll ever meet!

I like to sushi there but I ordered something else this time and it wasnt fresh. Had some smelling . When I told weitress she said I can not return the food so I have to pay for what I didnt ate.
