You wont find a better friendlier fabulous inexpensive restaurant in the lake Wales area. Treat you like family, personally visit atleast 3-4 times a week. Even if its to meat friends for just coffee. Never a empty cup of Joe. IMO Michael and Amber(servers) are the best. The rest are great also,just happen to be my favorite. Owners are there and doing there job also. Husband Frank really makes you you know how much he appreciates your business stops by tables to make sure everything is great. Wife is the greeter,first person to see and always very well dresses to represent there business. Very clean inside at all times. If I could give this establishment 10 stars I would. Mornings around 10 am are very busy but you are still seated in a very timely manner. Longest Ive ever waited to be seated has been about 10 minutes. Very community oriented restaurant. Has done some very kind much appreciated things for our children and families. Just cant say enough good things. I highly recommend this to any body passing through Lake Wales or any residents. One more thing employees seem very happy working here and treat you as if you really do matter to them. Hats off to them

A great find while traveling down to Bok Tower. Large variety of southern food and with hints of greek food. We visited during lunch and sat at the counter (which is so much fun). Service was extremely fast and our food was fresh and generous. One thing I noticed instantly about this establishment was the active involvement from the family that owns and operates it. They were hands-on and caring. You can also see by looking at the pictures and certificates on the wall that they are engaged in the local community. Places like Lake Wales Family Restaurant is what I hope for when traveling our old highways and taking a chance on non-chains. Give them a visit. Thanks for the hospitality Lake Wales Family Restaurant. We will be back when we visit Legoland in the Fall.

This restaurant was highly recommended to me. I went in and ordered breakfast. 3 tables that ordered after I did, received their food before my table received mine. When my food arrived, it was cold. I highly recommend the cold half raw eggs. This place looks very nice and based on the other reviews, my experience is in the minority. Try this place and make up your own mind.

The kids ordered breakfast and I ordered lunch. They have great home style cooked food. When we paid our tab they gave the kids a sucker and 2 one dollar bills. I asked and the owner does this for all kids! Wow...you dont find these kind of places anymore! Very Impressed!

I only had breakfast here and it was really good. The service was okay, we did have to ask for a refill. In all fairness they were really busy. It is a pretty neat place and Id stop again to eat. It was just a little pricey but not really bad.

Great family diner with hot fresh and delicious food served with a smile and inexpensive. Do stop, its certainly worth it! If we werent travelers and lived close by this place would certainly become our place to eat at frequently.
