Sunday night, February 10, 2013; my mother-in-law, my fiance, and I ate at the Waffle House on Kirkman Rd. Our server, "Little Miss Muffin", was less than pleasant and completely incompentent. We received better service from a "first day" server at WingHouse down the road. We received terrible service on all parts (she didnt fill an empty cup for minutes on end, didnt mention that they were out of tomatoes until AFTER we ordered our food, the cook gave my sandwich away in a to-go order) and terrible tasting food (none of us finished our sandwiches). After dropping my mother-in-law off at home and we returned to ours, my fiance (who had a grilled chicken melt) ended up vomiting ALL NIGHT Sunday night, and ALL DAY Monday, and ALL morning Tuesday morning until he received anti-nausea medicine at the Emergency Room. My fiance has now been in the hospital for 2 nights with an infection of the stomach and intestines after food poisoning. We will never eat there again and we are reporting them to the board of health.

Dont go to this one. We love Waffle House and stop there whenever we are on the road in the South. This one on S. Kirkman was a real disappointment, and we certainly would never go to another WF had this been our first experience. The food was fine, but the server did not match the typical WF profile. She was NOT friendly, she did NOT welcome us, she moved as SLOW as molasses, did not appear to care much for her job or her customers, and provided overall lousy service. Usually, I have to turn away the waitress from refilling my coffee cup too many times, but I had to pester this one to give me a second cup. Her name was Candy, and she should be fired. I give 2 stars because the food was satisfactory. The service deserves zero stars.

Service is Bad.. waiting total of 20 mins to get my order.. I got my bacon and ham then 5 mins later I got the rest of my order.. they brought me my bacon and ham on separate plates but put my gritts and Sunnyside up eggs on the same plate with my toast separating them. Why would you put 2 runny items on the same plate and put toast to separate them so now I have soggy bread.. they offered me to get new toast but what about my whole order so I have cold bacon and ham with egg and gritts mix .. i did pay for it but I didnt eat all of it mainly waffle 16.00 for 1 waffel.. call 800 custom service waiting for a response

I would give this location of Waffle House a 10 star if the option was available. The staff was very friendly and cooperative attentive, with all my family (group of 8), food came quickly, didnt have to ask for refill. They also were very attentive and where making sure my baby daughter was taken care as well. Rome was are waitress, she is awsome. Mama Kim and the crew werent taking care of our order directly but were always there as well. They came to the table to verify every was going good amd was very surprised with that. Would go back in a heart beat. In short words is was like eating with friends. Thanks guys.

The night staff that works around 2am are super rude also took almost two hours to get out food and kept ignoring us even took an he and half to get a drink the place itself inside is dirty our table was dirty the waitress asked me what we were doing dinning in or dinning out my husband told her dinning in we are just waiting for a table to cleared before we sit down and she got all attitudy with us. It was busy but not busy enough to where we did not receive our food for two hours! Wth the owner really need to check the cameras because if he saw what was going on half of the employees would be jobless.

The experience started out O.K. but took an unsatisfactory turn. Our server was very polite but not too attentive (I think she was new), the guests who came in after us (and had ordered after us) received their steaks before we had received my one waffle and "his" omelette... not to mention that my waffle was gooey in the middle. Bummer! I live near this location, so it seemed very convenient as a lover of Waffle Houses everywhere, but I am reluctant to return. I am not a mean customer, but it definitely makes me wonder what the hold up was on our food and my under cooked waffle.

Ich bin so begeistert vom Waffle House, ich könnte da jeden Tag Frühstück essen!! Manchmal ist es ziemlich voll und man muss auf nen Sitzplatz warten, aber es lohnt sich die Pecanwaffel ist so lecker und preislich gesehen gibt es nichts zu meckern 1A!!!

Horrible Horrible Horrible Service!!!!! They never answer the phone when calling to place a Togo order !!!!Once I called late night and they pretended to be an abortion clinic or some crisis clinic Employees are Rude I recommend going to a different location . I have tried on multiple occasions to call they never answer ,I went into Waffle house and ordered food then called while I was sitting inside to see if they hear the phone ringing. They just let the phone ring , they didnt bother to even pick up the phone

My friend and I were in town for a convention and this Waffle House was around the corner from our hotel. Our experience was not a good one. Our server neglected us for other families. My friend and I watched as she catered to other groups and gave us subpar service. Our food came very late. She didnt neglect to give us our bill however! Lol! I will not be returning to this location. I will be going to another Waffle House. If you want great customer service dont go to this location.

The Kirkman Road Waffle House is right around the corner from where I live, so I go in there fairly frequently. While I havent been in there on every shift, Ive no complaints at all about their night crew (particularly when David, Matt, and Stephanie are there), and their first shift crew is (usually) on the ball too. Its great for a break from McDonalds, and pretty inexpensive for some really great food.

Sadly didnt eat because upon walking in during obvious shift change their was extreme hostility amongst staff. I was the only one in restaraunt and one employee was yelling about day shift and throwing dishes behind line. I will say that the cook on duty (very nice young black man) did come over and ask to help me but with the disgruntled employee lashing out, I left. Wish I would have gotten his name...

I went there for a quick early lunch and had a cappuccino and avocado on toast (cause I really cant resist them) and it was pretty good and CHEAP compared to other FL place. I was really expecting a more expensive menu as the restaurant is located inside a fancy Waffle House but the prices were really honest. The restaurant itself is really pretty and calm; and you can work from there.

Im not the biggest fan of Waffle House, but the customer service this night was phenomenal. Well, at least from our server. The others are a bit ghetto, which I despise in the workplace. The waitress made sure my toast, steak, eggs, and hashbrowns were just the way I wanted them. On this chilly night the hot tea and lemons were soothing. I would visit again for a quick breakfast.
