This is my neighborhood store and Ive shopped here daily or at least every other day for the past 6 years plus. Yes, sometimes they will be out of a product that I need, but they are always eager to know that and it will usually be on the shelf the next day. They even keep an item that they quit selling in this particular store (Careys Maple Syrup), so I can get it when I am out. Just ask them, and they will order and keep an item in the back just for you. Im sure this is product dependent, but it worked in this case and I can get my Maple Syrup fix ; ). The store is clean and full of friendly people, but as mentioned, Im here almost every day and most know me. Ive never had any problems getting service at the Deli or Bakery, and they will gladly pop open packaged produce /meats / breads so that I can get just one or two items for that nights supper. I try and shop for the days meal or 2 meals, so I dont buy large packages of veggies and meats, just what I need for dinner. Ive been shopping at this particular Publix long enough to see many of the staff come and go, but the service always stays the same - Great!

Publix is my favorite grocery store and Ive been in many. This one leaves a little something to be desired. Its the closest to me, so I shop here a lot. The store itself is fine. Its the employees I have a problem with. At first, I thought maybe some of them were having a bad day, but then my husband came home and said how rude one of the deli employees was. She really didnt feel like waiting on him at all and made it very obvious. Im really surprised because Publix usually has such friendly and helpful employees. Im sure theyre not all bad, but a few are a few too many. I was in line behind a woman once and she had all her items on the belt. At the end, the checker told her she missed a can of cat food. She seemed embarrassed and put it up with her other items. After she was done and left, he says (out loud for all to hear), to the checker behind me, "She knew it was there. She was just trying to steal it"! Hopefully they can figure out who these employees are and replace them soon.

Went here as per usual, let me start off by saying that the staff is always very polite and I usually dont have an issue here, however I bought some bagged produce on 10/7/2015, I didnt pay attention to the expiration date I purchase a lot of food and if it looks okay I usually dont bother. Its currently extremely early on the 9th, I reached into the bag of produce I had just bought a couple days prior and it was slimy. It expired the day I bought it, this wasnt a markdown and frankly it wasnt all that cheap. I also bought a container of ginger which is now expired 10/9/2015 and a bag of broccoli that doesnt have an expiration date but is already browning. Im especially concerned with the container of ginger as it usually has a long shelf life of 2-3 months. I dont know who is in charge of restocking produce but I think its bs that Im spending 20+ bucks on spoiled veggies.

Seems to be a serious problem with food freshness at this store. Got mild food poisoning recently from the hamburgers, fresh fruit turned into something beyond gross after a few days (few more stories like this too). Are they putting food out right on the cusp of expiration? Serious health concerns about this store. This would have been 1 star but the employees there are great. But management has a potentially serious food safety situation that must be addressed.

Use to be a decent overpriced market to stop in at when no other options were available. Then the owners decided to put their money and noses where it doesnt belong when they decided to donate $800,000 to prevent Floridans from accessing medical marijuanna in order to protect their pharmaceutical interest. Now I can no longer in good faith give them any more of my hard earned dollars. Shame on you publix.

I went there yesterday to grab some items for my quick stay here in Jacksonville. The whole staff was super friendly, I was greeted by all of them! The staff at the deli and bread counter were very helpful and nice and, for what I was looking, they had a pretty good selection. Plus items Buy one Get one free XD Thanks to whole staff for making me feel so welcomed!

Ordered 9 trays of brownies and cookies. When I arrived the next day, the bakery had misread the order and only made one tray of each. I contacted Publix through their web portal after the fact to let them know of my experience and they never reached out to me. Used to be a time when Publix was focused on customer service but those days have passed.

I was visiting Jacksonville and staying at a hotel nearby. It was a cumbersome walk to get there, but it was worth the effort. It was clean, and had what I needed at good prices. I was hoping for more hot foods, but whatever, its a grocery store :)

They personalized my daughters bday cake without certain ingredients for us. She was very happy and loved her cake. The place is clean and the bakery staff are very kind and helpful. I only go to the bakery here. But the rest of the store is clean.

I work by this Publix and go there often. Always clean, stocked and staffed well. I have not been in a Publix yet that isnt great and this is one of the best of the best.
