Dirty ALL. THE. TIME. The food is always either low or empty. The floors are always dirty. The buffet is always messy. The grill person never fails to give you tough, burnt steak. The trays are scary filthy, the plates are sometimes dirty. The bathroom looks like it belongs on the outside of a gas station. There has been flies flying over the food. For the price to be what it is, this place should do much better, oh and the chocolate wonderfall..... Disgusting and cheap tasting. Close down already or get it together.

Breakfast food is by far the worst during the week, this is the 3rd visit within a week and no fresh made breakfast food available. If you want bacon it pieces or its not fully cook, or burnt, eggs are not plenty or hot. Grits not much there to get. Over all dont go if you just want breakfast. Even fish was scraps until I have to complain. My favorite waitress knows me (Debra) I eat here often enough not to enjoy the food. Mgrs at Southside got to do better or I wont be patronizing your restaurant. :( :( Disappointing Customer!!!

The cashier was great. The bathrooms were dirty. Had to go in the handicap stall but it also had dirty and dust on the sink. Like it hadnt been cleaned. Asked the waitress Linda if she could bring some butter because we could find it on the bar. She brought us one package. I asked if it was on the bar. She said around the bread. It was not there!. While eating she reached across the table to get a plate without ever saying excuse me. Needless to say I will not be back to this location. It was not clean...

The only reason i gp here is because my brother will eat it and i want to have dinner with him. The food is overly salty and the tea is not sugary enough. I wish he would choose some other place. They dont even give military discounts! Soon as I asked for a refill tonight, the waitress said, "ok," and began vacuuming. WHAT? Seriously! Waved down (hands in the air, like we were at a baseball game) another server who actually went and got one for me. Praying my brother will choose some other place to meet.

Usually very good but this new manager seems to know nothing. Came in today for lunch and he didnt schedule enough people as usual but today was worse. They had over 100 children and our server had to take care of them plus their section. He had another server helping but I never saw her come out with dishes only Glenn. Glen did a very food job but damn management needs to step it up. I understand labor costs but it will go a lot better if their is still customers coming. We want David back as manager

So this is our 3rd day in a row and the menu is always the same on the bar even on the lunch and dinner time frame. Now I thought that it is suppose to be a different bar everyday. I guess everyday is generic. The breakfast on the weekend should last alot longer then 2p.m. Some people like to eat breakfast for lunch and dinner if they didnt they would have not made IHOPs or Dennys. I thought GC was suppose to be better than them. Hopefully, they will read this and support the customers wants.

Could not believe that they dont offer a military discount for veterans. Ive eaten at a lot of Golden Corrals and they all offer the 10% for military veterans. The waitress I dont know if she was just that busy but I hardly saw her at all and had to sit long periods of time without a refill. The sheriff up there cooking the steaks did his job very well and was very polite and attentive.

I have seen flies land on the food (this happened once), I understand that its hard to keep flies from doing their thing. but overall, the food is not very good and not very fresh. The meatloaf is awful! the steak was good though... they do have banana pudding (my favorite desert). They also have gummy bears, and when ever I go I take a handful with me for the road.

Everything here is fresh and hot. The cooks keep up with the bar and dont let things just sit there. When I go to the bar each time its like all the food was just placed there, especially at breakfast. The servers are attentive and really take care of you. The restroom is clean. It tends to be a bit cold in the restaurant so bring a sweater or jacket. Best buffet in Jax.

The service was good, from the cashier to my waitress Except the buffet staff. When I asked for help to get chocolate I was told by the lady working in the pastry that she didnt have time. When I contacted the Manager he went back and talked to the lady, and then walked right past our table without saying a word to us and went out the door. We will never go back!

We went in early and got a seat quickly. The food was OK, not the best. The service; man! Our waitress came in and asked if we wanted anything. My sister asked for regular milk. She came back with nothing in her hands, because she forgot. She went back out and came back with chocolate milk. After that, she didnt come back at all. I didnt like the experience.

Personally, I think the place is awesome. The prices are reasonable. I was greeted very friendly at the door. They also have the $2.99 box where you can carry food out. The waitress very pleasant. And the food was exceptional. I am from Miami Florida and the one in Florida city is not as good as it used to be. But, this one was fantastic. Five stars!

Felt like eating pure grease. Food had a terrible taste and a lot was overcooked, and the tea tasted stale. This is not a one of instance. I used to eat here frequently growing up, and the food quality has severally decreased over the years. The only positive thing I could take away from this, was a very friendly waitress.

My wife and approach the counter/register the girl was on the phone and she didnt even a temp to say hi or say I will be right with you. The food wasnt great. The quality on the vegetables was poor and most of everything. The only thing that my wife and I end up eating was salad soup and a little of roast beef.

This is my go to place for nights where I am responsible for feeding my kid after dance. She loves the chocolate fountain and the salad bar. I prefer the steaks and catfish. Make sure you go on a busy night so that the food is replaced more often, not that I have gotten anything that was too old.

The service everywhere here is wonderful, from the cashier to my waitress to the buffet staff. My omelet was perfectly cooked & in a timely fashion, all the food was fresh, and there were alot of customers dining in. Id give it another star if there were more vegetarian options!! Fantastic place!
