I went here at 3 a.m. to get a burger and hash browns after doing grocery shopping for the family at Walmart. And the food was good, the burger patty itself wasnt that great but it hit the spot. The hash browns were good. The girl that was working was very friendly and another gentleman there was also friendly, he said hello as soon as I walked through door. I had ordered my food to go over the phone and since I did not know the menu the girl suggested a special. when I got home all of the necessary condiments with a knife, fork and napkins were in the bag. I will definitely be trying some other things here.

The one on arlighton rd in akron ohio is awful. Its the closest one to us. It always looks dirty. They ALWAYS have have waffle junk dripping down...floors are dirty. Good luck trying to get through to speak to a manger on the phone. It goes to vm. And the workers talking about whos getting written up . who is in trouble...the gossip thats going on there between the coworkers. Unbeliveable to the service you recive to the garbage you have to look at to the garbage you have to listen to while trying to eat. I have called and complained and stuff still goes on there.

Came to Akron for a family reunion over 4th of July weekend. Staying at a hotel close to the waffle house I decided to give it a try. And I was very glad I did, service was great fast and friendly, food was good and they had grits, me being from Minnesota Ive never seen grits on a menu before and that just made my day cause my moms from Texas and she used to make grits at breakfast for us. Overall I loved my experience here if I come back to Akron this will Definitely be on the list of things to do.

We come here often and usually have friendly service, today was by far the worst ever. There is a waitress with fake red hair telling her customers that shes been up since Fri!!! Shes very loud rude and annoying we sat down and with in 10 mins 3 people walked outo without being serviced! I dont know this girls name since no one is wearing name tags but she caused you to lose customers today! The place is dirty with cigarette buts laying on the floor. Todays experience by far the worst!!

Was only one customer in restaurant when I arrived but two people got their orders taken before me. When another employee asked if I been helped I told her no and she proceeded to tell her that I was here prior to the other customers and my order should have been taken first. The rude employee responded saying that another customer was there before me and proceeded not to assist me. If you go here, avoid Tami as she is very rude.

Chilli tastes like hormell hot dog topping with a few beans tossed in and dont bother asking for cheddar cheese all the have are american slices. .. ew. ..and no powdered sugar for the waffles. Forgot to give us straws. .. ... but about the only nice thing is they did allow my one odd request for a heafty amount of cherry suryp in chocolate milk. ... chocolate cover cherry milk yummm

Ive been a Waffle House customer since the late 1970s. Mostly when I lived in the South, glad they made it to Ohio. The ordering is off the hook funny, yelling in your order, to the cook getting it right. To the fast and friendly service. Prices are slightly higher than a mom and pop restaurants, but the show goes with the meal.

The only person in there that was worth talking to was the man cooking in the girls that were working in there wanted to see how loud they could talk the waitresses and talk like some kind of black person that really gets annoying when youre trying to eat I personally would probably never go back there again

First the good....the most important is the food which was great. Eggs, toast and waffle was made near perfect. Now the bad. Completely unorganized. Yelling directions to employees was unprofessional. I have ptsd and I had to leave until food arrived. Luckily people started clearing out.

Used to love going here anytime for the All-American. The music was soooo loud the other day you couldnt have a conversation. Funny how theres no rap on the jukebox? A few other people mentioned it also. It doesnt matter if its Rock, Rap or Classic R&B. Done with this WH!

The place had ok food - same quality as other Waffle Houses (except for the grits - they were awful). The 2-Star rating came from the horribly loud woman behind the counter. She spoke to her co-workers as if they were three football fields away... Just unprofessional.

Always liked the waffle house . Still has that feeling of an old American diner . Staff are friendly and seem to know alot of the regulars by name . The food is decent and made in front of you . Everyone should expirence this place once and then come back.

Its a waffle house! That means food cooked fast, made consistently, and low prices. The staff here are very friendly and do a great job. Of course, its open 24 hours, so its great for stopping off the highway during travel.
