Ive been going to this restaurant for years. It has gone through quite a few owners. At first I was impressed by the new owners you could tell they had their heart into the business. Now not so much. They have made a nice short and sweet menu raise the prices. Made the portions smaller. My biggest complaint of all is that they have changed their bacon to something that tastes like paper. They are very lucky to have the staff they do have they seem to run the place very efficiently. In their absence because they are never around anymore. Although everything is falling down around them the bathroom had no light. The air conditioner has not been fixed for weeks. The way I see it they should just cut their losses cuz its just going down week after week.

Today we stop by the Chuck Wagon for the first time for breakfast which we enjoying doing on the weekends. We have eatin at IHOP, Dennys and Perkins just to name a few in the past. We have to give the Chuck Wagon 5 stars and here is why. The owners Ed and Jodi stop by our table with a pot of coffee to refill are cups and made us feel at home and the waitresses aswell. Never once we had to ask for a refill and the chow was outstanding and a lot of bang for your buck. PS and the fresh baked biscuits and gravy where to die for. Loved the service and down home cooking keep up the good work of hospitality and good cooking. like Arnold Schwarzenegger said Ill be back!! Stay tuned for my next review.

While the server was good, service and the meal were below decent standards. Arrived on Saturday at 11:30 am, the restraunt was only half full. I ordered a BLT, and my husband ordered a regular hamburger. It took over 40 minutes to receive our food, and I saw that my sandwich was sitting at the service window for over five minutes before the burger was done. My sandwich was not toasted at all, and the overcooked bacon was cold. Because the restraunt and the dining room are in the same area, there was a distinct smell of grease and burnt food in the air. I have already told my local friends that the restraunt is definitely one to avoid.

Food was OK. Our waitress refused to write anything down for our order and subsequently brought the wrong drinks 3 times. I had to get our table our menus because she didnt give them to us and our food came out before our eating utensils. Not to mention it took about 30 minutes to get our food with only 3 other tables with people at them. The decor was awful and the bathroom was also a storage room. Heard about them on a large advertising campaign on 104.1. probably should have spent that money making your restaurant more visually appealing. The interior is about the same as a run down Dennys but with steakhouse prices. Meh.

Ive been coming here a year. I moved down here from NC. My husband I were going to Dennys first but there was no parking cuz it was so busy. My husband looked up local places found this place and came here. Food was awesome and service is great. Still great food and still awesome service. Not complaining but if you dont like to wait dont come here. Sometimes it can be busy because everyone loves the owner and wants to eat his awesome food. With any place that makes food homemade it will take awhile. It is worth the wait. I plan my time around this place just to eat lol.

Had a blast last night with Chef Eds personal cooking class at the Chuck Wagon. 1. First we created our Flan(dessert) 2. Then we created our salad with Papaya (and yes Chef Ed also showed us how to make our own salad dressing as well! 3. Main dish was Chipotle chicken! Met great people, hung out, (oh by the way , he is also a Magician as well!) Awesome home-style cooking, but most importantly Chef Ed and his staff definitely LOVE sharing their gift of great food with Apopka and the surrounding cities.

I cant comprehend how they make the best food Ive ever had every time I come here. Theyve got amazing service and a great atmosphere. The food goes far beyond my expectations. I cannot stress how much I recommend coming here and trying it for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed. I have never cared to post a review anywhere but for once i feel compelled to leave this message for someone whos looking for something phenomenal to eat. I myself, will be coming back for more very soon.

Just left this place - Waited an hour and still didnt get our food! place was crazy busy with only one cook , and they said "they always run with only one cook" never again ! Save yourself some time and look for different option ! Letter to management : staff up! Your prices are up there amongst other breakfast place that can serve quicker and probably just as good if not better !

Small quaint establishment frequented by the " in the know" locals. Authentic comfort food cooked up fresh for your liking. The bacon is "off the hook" excellent. The pot roast is my favorite, though only cooked as a "special". Chef Ed and Jody are an asset to the community and awesome owners of this "little wagon" that can produce great eats!

All doubt the decor is nothing to to talk about they do have great food their staff is very friendly and their prices are fair. theres no wifi or TV news this place is just a down to earth place where you can sit and think and enjoy a great meal. I recommend the wagon burger with cheese very good and non expensive.

Food is good, staple of the area, and not a bad place to grab a bite. Last two times I visited, though, there was a group of elderly locals arguing loudly their pro-Trump opinions that sounded more like bigotry than politics. It ruined both meals for me. Be warned, but hopefully your experiences are better....

We have now gone to Chucks Wagon twice since moving to Apopka and we are SOOOO happy to have found such a great place. Not only is the food excellent but we can feed our family of seven for less than $40 (including tip) and all walk out stuffed!! Thanks for such a great place to eat!! We will be back!

Took over 30 minutes for a breakfast order. Everyone who came in after us got served first but really the issue was of the food. Two omelettes ordered and one was just over done and the other way under done. I wanted to give my business to a mom and pop but for the price Id rather go to Kekes. Sorry :(

Worst experience EVER! As we leave due to lack of service (20 minutes of waiting to place and order on a weekday at 10:00) the owner/chef yells at us to "go on and get out of here". Then informs us that he is very successful and does not need us or care about the review that I am going to give him.

you dont find places like this on Orlando anymore. Local dinner stiyle breakfast, lunch spot. prices are easy on the wallet, and the food fills the belly. Everyone is really friendly and knows one another. Its like i stepped 20 years into the past to eat at the local truck stop.
