I love this restaurant!!! Point blank. I read some of the reviews and one stuck out like sore thumb. Its from 2 months ago from someone who had a bad experience. Well Ill say this, not everyone will have good days, even restaurants. Apparently their food was brought to them cold, well this does happen from time too time. But to say you will never come back is a little extreme to me. Really??? No 2nd chance for one of the best places in town? Let me tell you a little story on how I came to love this place. My mom and I went to a restaurant around the corner from Oasis. We walked in and no one acknowledged us, I mean no one. We stood there a good 2 minutes until I got fed up, and muttered some choice words, as we walked out. We got back in our car and I proceeded to Google restaurants with grits. Oasis was not only the 1st on the list, it was also walking distance from our car. We got back out of our car, making sure the place we just left saw us walk right past the door. The minute we walked in Oasis I knew I found my home restaurant. We were greeted with smiles and conversation. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Ms. Bonnie came over and to make sure our stay was great. Which of course it was! Im glad the " Box " treated us like we didnt belong there. Very glad. Dont misunderstand me, there have been time Ive had to return my eggs or my grits, because it wasnt how I asked, but they gladly remade it for me. So to say Oasis doesnt deserve a 2nd chance is poppy cock!!!!!!! Especially after they picked up the tab for your " one " bad experience. Ms. Tammie and Bonnie, you keep doing your thing

Many Many Many Great Dining Experiences here at The Oasis Restaurant!! I had my first meal with Bonnie & Tammy the very first week that they opened the Oasis at the old Boulevard Plaza so many years ago. The food was Great back then and even Better Now!! My Breakfast favorite is the Oasis Breakfast Special. My Lunch favorite is the Grilled Cuban with steak fries. My Dinner favorite is "Hands Down" the Liver & Onions!! I know... I know.... Not everyone likes it. But let me tell you..... If you like liver & onions, you will not find it anywhere else in the world as delicious as you will have it at The Oasis!! Absolutely Delicious!! Make sure to enjoy it with their Real Mashed Potatoes & Gravy. AND, dont miss out on the Mixed-Grilled Italian Vegetables -- The Bomb!! If you still have room, the list of desserts will inspire you to eat even more. I am so past due for a big ol plate of Liver & Onions...!! Girls..... I will see you all soon!!

Dine there around 2pm today with 2 other people. We got seated right away, waitress arrived seconds later. Two of us ordered the specials of the day "Baked Ziti with salad & garlic toast" and other way "Liver & Onions with side of mashed potatoes, & mixed vegs." All meals came out quickly minus my sons who came out 5 mins after everyone else. (Children dishes should always arrive first) My Baked Ziti was dried out, hard possibly microwave, just nasty. My mothers liver & onions she said was great, good gravy, good mashed potatoes. My son had "The Basic" and his bacon was extremely hard, no favor, and its highly unlike him not to eat anything. He is a mini vacum, haha.... All in all I assume it depends on what you order there, will give it another chance sometime hopefully

We had the most amazing lunch! We found this gem on our way to the Edison Ford Estate by chance, and wed come back specifically for this place. We tried the philly cheese steak, Rueben, and corned beef on rye. It was TO DIE FOR. The homemade chips were delicious, salad was fresh and clean, and the sweet potato fries were great too. Kim was our waitress, she was pleasant, funny, and helpful. She knew everything about the menu, and was able to answer our hundreds of questions in a polite and friendly way. Kim was so great, we wanted to talk to the owner (Bonnie). Bonnie was nice, friendly, and we could feel her need to please her customers radiating. We felt like family here! We will definitely be returning! Thanks Bonnie and Kim!

This was our 2nd time visiting this restaurant in less than 1 week & we cant say enough about it. This is my new #1 spot in Fort Myers! They serve the best food in town in addition to a warm & friendly atmosphere. The breakfast pancakes & cornbeef hash are the best. Had crepes this AM which are the best I have seen in the area! The restaurant is clean, plenty of parking & had hand sanitizers on every table. As a retired RN these are things I look for & have been disappointed in many area restaurants. No kidding this is the best. Very smart owners & business people who consider every detail. Thanks for the "hugs" on our departure. Surely will return many times with more friends!!

The food was good but the atmosphere was awful. Fist time there and Lee Countys most hated public figure was eating there. Also, they put big hand sanitizer bottles on all the tables and the bathroom floor was so disgusting that I might have used the hand sanitizer if I didnt use the bathroom on my way out. The waitstaff was loud about welcoming people coming in. This place is about what you would expect of a restaurant in SWF. I like locally owned places in other places, but around here unfortunately its best to stick with the chains originating in places with a culture more fitting of our current times. I wont be going back.

Wow!! Been a lot of places in my life but Miss Bonnie is the greatest restaurant owner I have ever met. Loved talking to her. I had one of the best Reubens I have ever had and the beer was ice cold. My partener in crime has a burger that he described as a "burger to shame them all" the chili on it was fabulous and overflowing. Fries were crispy just like we asked for. No skimping here on food. Miss Bonnie makes sure everything is just right when it is put in front of her customers. Definitely on my go to list when we head down again to Ft Meyers. LOVE IT!!! Hugs to you Miss Bonnie!!!

Amazing! We stopped for the first time on our way back from our tax accountants office (UGH!). We came in just before close (unaware) but they made us feel welcome. I had the chicken salad sandwich with mushroom soup. The best Ive had since the New York Delis of my youth! My husband had the tuna salad and fruit, which was also wonderful. The mushroom soup was SO good I ordered a bowl to take home. Cheryl was especially gracious and invited us back. Oh, well be back! Thank you for your commitment to excellence!

Everything we wanted in a simple local restaurant. The charm of this restaurant is that it is not fancy. It is simple, friendly, tasty, unpretentious and quite enjoyable to visit. There are no fancy surroundings, just good old fashioned service and good comfort food. If you enjoy "five-star" dining this might not be your place, but if you are like me and enjoy good food served by friendly people, this is your place. We will certainly stop by on our next visit to the area.
