We had just traveled for 10 hours and rather than drive down to Mike Symones Lola decided to stay in the hotel and get to sleep earlier. This was our first bad bad decision. We have never had a worse meal in a restaurant advertised as "good", and cant remember ever sending everything back. First we sent back two wines. Ended up with a barely suitable Zinfandel. They began by serving a wine not ordered by us and didnt tell us they were pouring a different one. We were pretty hungry by the time the salad arrived since no bread was offered. Next we sent back the salad that had a ridiculous amount of salt on the greens - and the chef agreed! Then we sent back BOTH entrees! The pork chop was a "rock" even though it was cooked medium, and the scallops pea/coconut sauce was simply inedible - bitter and rotten tasting. The scallops were ok and most of fresh vegetables on both plates were excellent. Then there was the Espresso. It was supposed to be Starbucks, but was bitter and tasted old. This restaurant is a disaster. They did comp the entire meal, but should have considering the poor ambiance, completely substandard food, and average service. Do yourself a favor and just go elsewhere.

After seeing several really positive write-ups, we ventured to AMP 150 from other side of town. The food was atrocious. We started with some artisan breads, which were served with two different spreads and some garlic oil. The spreads were so hard, that we could not even cut them and the bread was stale, or over-warmed or something not edible. The waitress said that they were experimenting on how thick to cut the breads which was supposedly baked on premises. At $4, learn how to slice it before serving it to guests, not poll them about the success of the food served. We ordered the walleye which was over cooked and rubbery and perhaps a 3 ounce portion, accompanied by one small braised radish the size of a large olive, cut up into four pieces as a side, along with some coconut rice that was good but only half warmed. I so wish i were a published restaurant critic, as I could save this city a great deal of embarrassment. Hope that there are no tourists partaking in this abomination.

Visited AMP150 in the Marriott on a Friday around 6:00 p.m. for appetizers and cocktails. It was my first time at the Marriott since recent renovations, and I was glad to have finally stopped in, after driving past the building several times a week. The bar area was half-full, and the restaurant was starting to get busier. Good amount of craft beers on the menu.. I was happy with the Rapbit Spaetzle with peas, speck ham in a light tarragon cream sauce, one of the small plates. I also sampled a decent chicken soup, which boasts avocado, radish, jalapeno, tomato, cilantro & lime surrounding a corn dumpling. The bartenders were polite and friendly, and service was prompt.

We ate here on Wednesday, November 30th for the 1st time. I was a little concerned about the Google reviews I had read prior to our visit, but am happy to report that I found the food to be fresh, delicious and the selection was terrific. How refreshing to order my burger medium rare and actually have it cooked medium rare - that doesnt happen too often. The service was also fast and friendly -- couldnt have had better service! They offer a large beer and wine selection too! The prices were also fair considering this restaurant is located in a hotel. I will definitely eat here again and will recommend to my friends. Thank you, AMP 150!

The Burger Guide
The Double Bacon Cheeseburger at AMP 150 is a great looking burger. Ohio Cheddar, Benton’s Bacon, truffle aioli, house pickles, and an onion bun. The rich flavors of the bacon, cheddar, pickles, and aioli make for a great burger. This burger had some smart flavors, however its shortcoming was the fact that the two beef patties were overly cooked and dry. This led to a very dry profile for the entire burger. I found myself chasing each bite with my drink. If you get a juicy one this burger might be quite a bit better!

The food here is incredible; the flavor of each individual platter is impeccable. During the holidays, my mom and I enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is soothing, and the food is excellent. We get the best service Ive ever had; ask for Stephanie, and youll be satisfied enough that you wont want to leave! The fish is fresh, the vegetables are seasoned with ingredients that blow my mind, and the creativity of this place really makes for a great experience. And I never mind paying for a great experience!

Incredible! This place is awsome. One of the best beer lists I have ever seen and everything we had to eat was over the top. Had no idea a hotel restaurant bar can be this perfect. Staff was awsome and knew this industry. Day 2 of a 3 day stay and we havent gone to any other bar or restaurant during our stay (and we wont either). I would fly back to cleveland just to have the experience we are having right now!

The food is awesome but the staff are why you want to come here. The hostess Jenna, had no idea the kindness she showed me. I was having a very bad day while traveling away from home. She brought me over a little desert and a nice card. Most places dont understand customer service. This place has enough for twenty places.

Ridiculous. Everything we ate was awesome. I consider myself as a cook and a foodie. Get the Mac and Cheese Gnocchi. I live 4 miles from this place and never knew about it. Hands down some of the best food in Cleveland. The service was awesome, just some good people. No doubt I will be back.

Good service and good food selection. The music was great, classic rock which I like a lot. The only setback is that the entree does not come with any soup or salad as a starter. Clean ambient and friendly staff. I would recommend this place.

This place is racist. Had to track down hostess to even get a menu or try to order a beverage. Tried to move from bar to table, but was told "most are reserved"... Even though it was like 4 pm and very empty.

We had a great dinner there. Awesome service and a great meal. The atmosphere was great - background music was nice but not loud, allowing for great conversation!
