This is Disney World, so you would be lucky to get any value for your buck here. Do yourself a favor and get it all done on one meal. Many of the restaurants are great along Epcots International area, but I felt that i nailed the most themed and bang for your buck here at Disney Hollywood Studios. At first entry this place is erie. Its so quiet. Most of the patrons are focused classic footage on the big screen. Perfect date place if the conversation weighs thin. -=-Service-=- Fast and attentive service. Christian is our waiter. He deserves special mention for being on top of my drink refills on this uber hot day. -=-Double Angus Bacon Burger-=- $18.49, added onion rings. Bottomless cherry coke for 3.49. The meat was 1 pound total. A big eater like me could not finish it. The highlight of the burger would be the meaty goodness of it, but sadly nothing much more than that. I can say the same about the fries and onion rings. Its standard stuff, but the value and ambience make it all worth it. TIPS - reservations get you a guaranteed classic car booth. You can make reservations that same morning or even 2 weeks in advanced. Otherwise, you may get lucky and get a saucer at the back, which are only for walk ins. They seat 4 comfortably but there are only about 5 of them at the back. -the ideal group here is 2 since cars are separated into 2 groups of 2. If you were to get a car booth for 4 then 2 of them would be looking at the back of the other 2s heads. -sodas are unlimited refills and the cherry coke that I got was only $3.50.

I’ve eaten at this diner about 5 times now and it never disappoints. My husband and I last went there in January of 2015 and he loves this place as well. I always get the rueben. I’m vegetarian so I order it without the meat and it comes out great. It’s like a fancy grilled cheese sandwich. The food isnt what I’d consider amazing, though the atmosphere more than makes up for it. For starters you are seated in a car. The cars are designed to look like a 1950’s to 1960’s drive in movie theater cars. They even come with speakers and the restaurant is made to look like it’s nighttime outside, with stars etc. Unfortunately, or fortunately, they dont show movies, instead they show movie trailers with old commercials and also bits that you’d see at an old drive in theater, like advertising for food etc. All in all this place is a must see for anyone visiting the Disney area, I’ve never seen a restaurant like it myself, it’s very different indeed. Tip: Be careful to request a car, if thats what youre interested in. They have a few regular tables. Also, if you have a small party, be prepared to be seated inside a car with another party.

I had my first visit to Disney World last week with my friends, and we made a reservation here at the Sci-Fi for dinner. It was the best first experience Ive ever had eating at a themed restaurant at Disney. The place was really awesome-- how often do you get to have dinner in a car-table and watch 50s classic trailers on a big screen? The magic was definitely strong with this restaurant. The hostess who took us to our table was very friendly and we had a great chat about where we came from, in that short time she took us to our seats. Our waiter was exceptional! He cracked jokes with us, made conversation and was very patient with our orders. And a bonus that he shared our appreciation for Marvel. I ordered the Vegetarian Shepherds Pie, while a few of my other friends ordered sandwiches. At first I thought the size was small for my pie, but it definitely filled me up once I finished. No complaints cause the food was delicious! All in all I experienced amazing guest servicing, and Ill for sure recommend this place to other friends. Keep it up you guys!

The food is average... not bad, just average. The awesome theme of this restaurant is why I rate it above average. I dont think I need to go into much detail about the theme as much as been said already and there are plenty of pics available. Most of the seating is in those cool 50s style cars, which is cool. However, there is a small chance that you could be seated at a picnic table instead of the car. I think that awesome atmosphere is the same, though... no matter where you sit. If you are a fan of drive-in theaters of "B" horror movies from the 50s, youll enjoy this place. ** What makes this somewhat a safer choice than some other themed dining at WDW is that the guest experience does not rely as heavily on a server who is performing well or really getting into the act. Even if the server is boring, guests are focused on the atmosphere and/or movie being shown on the screen. ** If you are only going to one WDW restaurant on your trip, consider all, but if you are going to maybe three or more, you should include this one.

Sci-Fi is definitely a unique dining experience. Sitting in a "convertible" and watching old B movie clips is a lot of fun, but the clip reel is short enough that we went through it twice during the course of our meal. The milkshakes are yummy and included as a part of the Disney Dining Plan which is a bonus. The onion rings were also really good - crispy and served with a horseradish dipping sauce. As for entrees, the NY strip is the only upscale item on the menu - the rest are burgers and sandwiches. If youre on the dining plan, this is not a good use of credits - Id suggest paying out of pocket and going for lunch when they have a bigger selection of entrees. The food was good, but no better than any restaurant you can find outside of Disney World. The draw of this place is the atmosphere but for me, this one is like most of the restaurants in Hollywood Studios - worth trying but nothing Id rush back to visit again.

I really like the concept and idea of the restaurant. However, the "movie" is on a 40 minute loop so you get to see it start over. The "movie" just consist of some old movie trailers and a Tom and Jerry cartoon. I get the idea what they were going for, but it would be much more interesting to have 5 or so movies playing back to back with commericals and cartoons in between. Or have Mystery Science Theater 3tK or something like that was funny. This prevents me from ever wanting me to return. The wait staff walks through spouting the movie out loud, obviously they know every line. The food is ok. Just order the appetizer to keep it cheap. The wings are $11, the spinach dip is $9, and the kids meals are $11 but come with drinks and dessert. The waitress was slow. We had got in there 1 and 15 minutes before Fantasmic and had to wait so long for her to bring out the desserts that we couldnt eat them in time.
