When is an offer not an offer? When you come for the $5 burgers on Monday. The offer is "MONDAY: Burger Mondays, $5 try any of our burgers" . In tiny letters below that *restrictions apply - but they dont mention what they are. So you gleefully look at the menu and try to get any burger (which, according to their offer, you should be able to get), and they tell you NO! YOU CAN ONLY GET THE MARINA BURGER! I even called the Manager over, and said "If youre offering ANY burger, then you need to honor it. I should be able to have any burger, including the veggie burger." His rationale - yes, but see the "*restrictions apply* words - that means we can do anything we want, any time, we dont have to honor anything at all!!! And not only that - but the description of the Burgers says "BURGERS COME WITH CHOICE OF COLE SLAW OR FRIES" - but of course, on the BURGER special, THEY CHARGE YOU $0.99 FOR THE FRIES WITHOUT TELLING YOU! They dont seem to understand that this is just flat out lying to the customer - offering something and then refusing to honor it. If its "any burger for $5" - then guess what - that should be it! The fries should be included! If you go to Tap 42 or RokBurger (both offer $5 burgers) - guess what - your fries are included! Tap 42 offers choice of two burgers - meat/Prohibition or Veggie - but guess what - they write that clearly on their specials board, $5 EACH WITH A BEVERAGE, and dont mislead you into thinking youre getting something youre not. And they are EXCELLENT burgers - no misleading advertising, or promising you something and not giving it to you. I tell you, if you went to PUblix, and they had a sign "All English muffins $2.50" and then you get up to the checkout and theyd say oh sorry, we only mean ONE type of English muffin, the wholegrain muffin - guess what - youd have every right to say sorry, your sign says any muffin - I want this one - and publix would apologize to you and give you what you want - because its in writing, its a WRITTEN OFFER!!! Not a written offer that may as well have written underneath it "this offer is garbage because we wont honor it, the only burger well give you is the Marina burger and THEN you have to pay extra for the fries" - SHAME ON YOU MARINA 84! AND ALL YOUR STAFF AND MANAGEMENT because they all refuse to honor what is CLEARLY WRITTEN ON YOUR MENU! TRY ANY BURGER FOR $5!!!!! As far as the burger goes - its good, but served luke warm, as were the fries (obviously had been sitting around for a while). Just cant believe that in this day and age, someone has the NERVE to write an offer on a menu, and put a disclaimer underneath it that totally makes the offer INVALID! If you have restrictions, SAY WHAT THEY ARE! WRITE CLEARLY $5 BURGER MONDAY - get the Marina burger $5, fries 99 cents extra. How hard is that?? Its not about the money - its about duping the public! No wonder the place is almost empty on a Monday night. Everyones at Rokburger or Tap 42 where we will be next week.

We 6 cruiser friends stayed at The Rodeway Inn the night before our cruise on the beautiful Serenade of The Seas. After we settled in our rooms we all went to Marina 84 Sports Bar & Grill for some drinks and food. Tom & I had 2 appetizers (which were very good) and a total of 7 drinks. We got a bill for $111.93! OUCH!!! It took us awhile to realize why there were such outrageous charges. The server must have padded the bill to get a higher tip...my 3 Manhattans were made with Chivas (un-be-known to me) 3 Manhattans for a total of $37.50. We sailed the next morning before Marina 84 was open. When we returned home I called the bar manager...he said "That server is no longer with us...she was caught doing things like that". He offered for us to come to Marina 84 for compensation...we live 4 1/2 hours away so thats not feasible. He then took our info (phone number and e-mail address) and said a manager would contact us. He also had me e-mail the incident info and pictures to another manager...its been 4 days and we havent heard from anyone yet. To say we are un-happy is an understatement. Tip...if you patronage this bar...watch your bill and charges closely! Its been 3 weeks since I talked with the bartender at Marina 84 (see above) The bartender told me that a staff would call or e-mail me re the rip-off re our bill (1-22-17) We have not had a phone call or e-mail from anyone at Marina 84. We got the credit card bill with the padded charges which we paid because we didnt feel we had any choice. Not a good way to do business to say the least!

I decided to go therere only because online said they would have the NFL Sunday Ticket. SO I came early, 1) to get a seat and 2) find out their way of handling the different games. Two waitresses told me that there are 6 receivers and the parties that come first and suggest the game those are the 6 games they will play. I said ok and was shown to my seat. About half way into the 1st quarter of the game the TV the waitress changed for me was turned by I am assuming the manager b/c she wasnt dressed like everyone else. I kindly asked her if she could change the TV back b/c I was watching the game. She said no it will be too hard for me to switch back to another game. I said I was told that you have 6 receivers and currently only 4 parties of people are in here to watch games, plus I was here before them. She said well the guys who want to watch this game are my regulars and I cannot change the TV. Worst customer service ever. She didnt even try to find an alternative for me that also accommodates them, and it felt like she thought I wasnt worth "working hard" (if changing channels constitutes as hard work) for. The fact that she would rather keep recurring clients more happy than new clients only proves that management doesnt know that much about how business works. I wasted time and gas going to this place only to be told in a nice way that my presence doesnt matter b/c I am a new customer. I couldnt even enjoy what I did order b/c I was so mad at the way she handled that situation.

So I went to this bar on 4/22/2016 on this unfortunate side of town because it was the only place to eat within walking distance to my hotel. The food was ok though it took 30 mins to get a chicken sandwich. I was harassed by a local drunk patron who was apparently the boyfriend of one of the waiters. This guy was extremely drunk and was covered in bloody scratches from a fight he was just in before he got to Marina 84. He confronted me because he thought I looked at him. He pulled a knife out on me and the other guy at the bar. We were able to talk him down and he even apologized. The part that concerned me the most is that the staff watched this whole thing happen and nothing was even done to get this guy out of the bar. They almost seemed scared of him. They actually continued to give him drinks. It was not a safe controlled environment. Fortunately I hold myself in high regard and was able to not get excited by this character and control the situation. If i had been a hot head and further instigated this guy someone could have gotten seriously hurt or even killed because of this guy having a weapon and being very drunk. I encourage the management staff to play the video back if there is one of this indecent. The place has potential to be a nice place but the local drunks and staff bring it down.
